  1. Hi guys! Finally got caught up in English so I don't feel guilty about writing non-school stuff. :D So, this has alot of Ennaly in it but its not actually about her. Yaaay! I can write from someone elses perspective. Takes place right after IA act 2. General Act 2 IA spoilers and minor spoilers on the IA love interests annoying habit in act 2. 1,507 words.

    Prompt: NotLP Allies

Title: What I Never Wanted My Older Sister to Know

Characters: Lylac(Chiss Imperial Operative), Ennaly(Mirialan Gunslinger), Perrina(Pureblood Juggernaut), mention of Etonya(Twi'lek Assassin), and a whole slew of companions

“Begin recording. No, stop, this is really stupid. Wait, Perry was right. I need to talk this out to something that won’t look upon me with disapproval. Begin recording again,” Lylac looked up at her older sister in embarrassment. Perrina was not supposed to have this recording.

    “Perry, let me explain.”

“Oh, I’ve heard this before; you need to hear this again. Your choices were emotional, foolish,” Perrina stopped looking severe and broke into a huge smile. “And I could not be prouder of you. Now listen.”

    Perrina started the recording again.

“I think it started when I waved Vector away at the spaceport. He said something about how they needed to commune with the nest, and they had to be on Alderaan. I smiled and waved and if he were half as good at reading auras as he claims to be, he would have noticed that inside I was screaming don’t leave me alone… again. Then I went back to the ship and said the words I will regret for the rest of my life. Let’s go party on Nar Shaddaa! When we landed was when things went wrong.

I let Kaliyo challenge me to a drinking contest; I lost miserably but I was incredibly drunk at that time. Everything went black. I woke up on an unknown world being force choked by a sith. This in itself was not unusual, but the new planet was worrying.

I may never understand why she decided to save me, but as my vision was starting to blur I saw the strangest sight. A mirialan rushed the sith with both blasters drawn. She was no bigger than I was, and the sith was maybe three times my size, but he didn’t survive her attack. Her friend looked like he was about to have a heart attack when he saw her charge. She looked down at me and asked me my name… I think… things were really blurry at that point.

I told her my name, my real name, and I didn’t bother to hide my accent either. She looked shocked that I was imperial; maybe, my vision was only just starting to clear. Her name was Ennaly and she took pity on me. Turns out, I was on Coruscant, and she had been hunting that particular sith for a while. Coruscant, the last place I thought I’d turn up; still don’t know how I got there. Ennaly’s friend, boyfriend I later learned, looked torn between wanting to protect me and wanting to leave me there. I needed all the pity I could get so I told them what I could remember of how I got there, but when I started explaining, getting ready to cry big fake tears to get more pity, I actually started actually crying with actual tears. I was alone, no ship, in the middle of enemy territory, and I might not have ever seen Vector again. I lost all reason; I must have for what I did next. I told them everything. Everything that had happened since I met the SIS, and all I went through to undo the damage.

She looked at her companion and told him that they were taking me with them. That was news to me; I was just expecting a cover story and transport off planet. She asked me where I wanted to go; all I could think about at the time was seeing Vector, and getting back to my family. I wanted to go to Alderaan. Total lie, I just wanted to forget Alderaan, the people, the politics, and the house I destroyed. We all walked to the spaceport, I was wearing Ennaly’s jacket over my head because I stood out a bit, and we made it to the ship.

It wasn’t as pretty as mine was but it looked functional and sturdy. Those words could be used to crew. I’m sure I heard growling from the big wookie as the captain explained how things were going to be until we landed on Alderaan. I wasn’t locked up there were no sections of the ship I was not allowed to see. Ennaly told me to respect the privacy of the inhabitants and that same privilege would be given to me. It was better than I expected, they treated me like a member of the crew, but I saw the way they all treated each other. There was respect, trust, love, and no signs of cannibalism or drinking blood. Then again, these people didn’t seem like model Republic citizens, there was even a Mandalorian. I studied them, not for weakness but out of habit, and they acted as I did around Perry and Mom, they acted like family. I resolved then that I would improve the relationships in my crew.

Things went south fast. We were waiting for clearance to land on Alderaan when customs caught us. They wanted to inspect the ship and I was certain my presence would be a problem. I hid in the med bay and hoped for the best when Ennaly and Corso rushed in. He was doubled over in pain but straightened up when the door closed. Ennaly looked calm, rushed, and worried all at the same time. She turned to Corso and told him to hide me in the crawl space then return to the med bay and look sick, gave him a kiss, and ran out of the room.

We walked to a random spot in a hallway and he pulled out a panel in the ceiling. He picked me up, set me in the small space, and told me to keep quiet until they left, then I could get out and good luck. For the first time in my life, I was thinking how lucky it was that I was skinny because there was no room. It should have been called a slither space because crawling was out of the question. I could hear everything going on in the ship, every word and every step.

When I got used to the space I started thinking about the kiss Ennaly and Corso shared. It wasn’t long or particularly passionate but it was sweet, and spoke volumes of the love between them. My thoughts turned to Vector and the irrevocable fact that I was an alien. It started me crying again, so much so that I couldn’t hear when the officials left. Ennaly came for me and I was just starting to get a hold of myself when she said, and these are her words exactly, ‘Hey kiddo, what’s wrong?’ That was enough to start me crying again. I said something about Vector, humans, the Empire, and how he would wake up one day and realize I was just a worthless alien. I didn’t see the slap but I felt it loud and clear. It was what I needed to get a hold of myself. She said that she met aliens and humans, republicans and imperials, and I was better than most because I was a good person. Oh, and if I ever called myself worthless where she could hear again I would be cleaning the ship stem to stern armaments and cargo included.

We landed and I was smuggled to the House Thul spaceport without incident. My ship was waiting for me and so were Mom, Dad, Perry, and Vector. I had never been so happy to see anyone in my life, although Ennaly was looking at Mom strangely. I did tell her that most of my family was sith, but loyal to family and I would be fine going back there. I walked to the people who were waiting to see me, gave Perry a hug and turned to wave goodbye to the strange captain when Dad spoke. He said something like, ‘Lets’ get off this rock,’ when Ennaly turned around with a look of fury, drew both blasters, and shot Dad in the shoulder before we could react. The next few minutes were tense as a battle raged in the spaceport. When both sides fell from exhaustion explanations were given. Ennaly knew Dad, well at least his voice. I know my family has done and will do terrible things but I didn’t know he had killed her entire crew on her nineteenth birthday and almost destroyed her ship as well. They left to go patch up their wounds but you could almost taste the animosity. Perry told me to record what had happened, I laughed and said that was a stupid idea, and went back on the ship with Vector. I got out the recording device and, well, now we’re here. Um…that’s it. End recording.”

“I wonder how you made it onto Coruscant, Sis,” the normally severe looking Pureblood had her arms wrapped around her sister.

“”Yeah, me too. If we’re done here I think I need to wear down Vector some more,” Lylac smiled at her sister and walked to the door.

“Good luck! Call soon! And often!” Perrina sat smiling for a long while after her sister left.

  2. Happy Valentine's Day! This a piece inspired by the way I celebrate Valentine's. I don't have a boyfriend but my dad brought home some truffles for me (chocolates not the mushrooms, because mushrooms are gross :p ) so Valentine's for me is more just being around family and the people you love. 1000ish words.

    Prompt: NotLP Family

Characters: Ennaly, Ensinlli, and Tameery, plus the smuggler companions

The crew arrived on Coruscant slightly confused and curious as to why they were there.

“Captain? Don’t we still have work on Belsavis?” Corso looked at Ennaly. He was getting used to her impulsive decisions but this was just odd.

“Do you see them yet? Can you see them?” Ennaly was not tall, in fact petit was the perfect way to describe her, and she was trying to see above the crowd of people gathering for the holiday.

“See who? What are we even doing here?” Risha asked with her usual petulance.

“I am here because it is Valentine’s Day. All of you are here because I consider you all family,” Ennaly smiled at her entire crew.

“Um… isn’t Valentine’s Day usually celebrated with loved ones?” Risha still wasn’t catching on.

    “I love all of you.”

“One more than others,” Guss said with a snicker.

“And,” Ennaly continued with a glare at Guss. “The rest of my family will be meeting us for dinner.”

“Oh! So that’s why I’m carrying a cake,” there should have been a light bulb over Corso’s head.

“Yes. Bowdaar you’re the tallest can you see two mirialans, one who looks exactly like me?” Ennaly was still trying to do the imposible and grow six inches.

“I see them! I see them!”

“Thank you Corso. Where are they?”

“Right by the lift, there’s a jedi who could be your clone, but her tattoos are nowhere near as pretty as yours, and a trooper with an assault cannon that’s almost as big as she is.”

“Yep, that’s them. Follow me, we’ll go say hi,” Ennaly moved through the crowd with a speed that was impressive for the trouble she was having before.

“En! I see En!” The jedi was jumping with excitement.

“Calm down Ensinlli, knowing Ennaly a sudden outburst like that will keep her away,” the trooper said, but she smiled when she saw her sister with what had to be the most eclectic group of people she ever saw.

“Tameery, Ensinlli! I haven’t seen you guys in so long! There have to be introductions, and I made reservations and-“

    “En calm down,”

“Captain breathe,” Tameery and Corso said at the same time.

“Okay,” Ennaly took a deep breath and looked at the assembled group. “Guys, this is my older sister Tameery,” she gestured at the trooper, Tameery smiled at them all warmly. “And this is my twin sister Ensinlli,” the jedi nodded her head sagely but winked at Corso.

“Tammy, Li, this is my crew Corso Riggs,” the tall human male smiled at Ennaly. She smiled back and didn’t turn back to her sisters until Tameery cleared her throat meaningfully. “And this is Bowdaar,” she gestured at the large wookie standing behind her. “And Risha,” Risha smiled cockily. “And Akaavi Spar,” Ennaly inclined her head to Akaavi. “And last but not least Languss Tuno,” the Mon Cal smiled nervously.

“Well if you’ve finished introducing us to the whole of this miserable planet, let’s go eat,” Ensinlli looked imploringly at Ennaly.

“Ok, the restaurant is in the market sector. It’s this great little place that I found,” the large group walked to the speeders. On the way, they were attacked by a group of thugs. Tameery set off a mortar volley that wiped them all out.

“Sorry guys, my time here didn’t earn me many friends,” Tameery said with a sheepish grin.

“Eh, it’s all right. It’s not a party until there’s a shootout in the streets, right Corso?”

    “You got it Captain.”

They finally made it to the establishment with few other incidents. Once inside they were seated and conversation turned to Ensinlli. She deflected the queries with the grace you would typically expect of a jedi.

“So Ennaly, how’d you manage to get a boyfriend like Corso?”

“Um, I wished really, really hard, and he appeared on the bridge of my ship in a burst of light, with the accompaniment of a heavenly choir,” Ennaly said with her trademark smirk.

“Captain, we met on Ord Mantell. You were so pretty I gave you a blaster,” Corso looked at her, not wanting to let her slip into her smuggler mask with her family.

“No really, how did you two meet,” Ensinlli was utterly shocked that Ennaly could get a botfriend, much less one like Corso Riggs.

“Corso was right, although he never actually called me pretty at the time,” Ennaly smiled lovingly at Corso.

“Ugh, how did you manage to get in a serious relationship before us?” Tam was looking in the weirdest combination of disgust and jealousy.

“Maybe by not throwing myself at the nearest available male,” Ennaly loved her farm boy and if they wanted to tease her for it than she could throw it right back.

“That’s great,” Tam was not going to fight with her sister during the first time they’ve all been together in six years. “I hear you baked a cake.”

“Yeah, it’s three pounds of chocolate with chocolate icing on top. She won’t let any of us in the kitchen so I can tell you she’s the best cook I’ve ever known.”

“Well, yeah, but Corso, you’re her boyfriend you have to say that,” Ensinlli winked at Corso again.

“No, he doesn’t, and if you wink at my boyfriend again you will lose the eye,” Ennaly smiled at Li so sweetly that there was no doubt in anyone’s mind that she was serious.

“Aw En, you’re so cute when you’re jealous,” Li wasn’t going to show that she was the slightest bit unnerved by her sister.

“How ‘bout we eat that cake,” Tam managed to get around the stares to stand right behind En.

“Cake sounds great!” Corso was grateful to Tam for ending the tension.

The cake was sliced and passed around the table. For a while, there were only the sounds of eating, and then Li got up.

“Well, this has been fun, and awkward, but I really must get back to my work,” Li disappeared from sight and left.

“I have to be going too, but don’t wait six years before you get in touch with me again,” Tam hugged her sister, and went to leave.

“Hey, wait up! You’re going to the spaceport aren’t you?”

    “Yes, I’m off to Taris.”

    “We’ll walk with you then.”

“Great idea I was just about to suggest it myself,” the large group was walking to the spaceport. Tam got into a conversation with Corso.

“Hey, Corso right?” Tam asked with concern. “Don’t worry about the girls, they’ve never been on easy terms, and any time they can irritate each other, they will.”

“Thanks, but how’d you know that was bothering me?”

“I may not be force sensitive, but I’m not blind. En has changed, a lot. You’re good for her, I’m glad she has you around,” Tam really did like him. He wasn’t what she expected her loner sister to find let alone keep.

“Thank you, I plan on staying with her…”

“Forever?” He was absolutely perfect for her.

“Yeah, forever. Listening to the captain talk, I thought you would be a blood thirsty psychopath,” Corso looked at the mirialan trooper.

“Oh, I am, but something about Republic basic training will beat a sense of sympathy into you. Oh, look there’s my hanger, gotta go see you En,” with one last hug for her sister Tam ran to her hanger.

“C’mon guys, let’s go. We have a lot of work to do,” Ennaly and the crew walked to their hanger at a sedate pace, but all of the crew could see that their captain looked like a great weight was lifted from her shoulders.

  3. Hi! I'm trying something new. I wrote this out half way then my mind said 'Ooh impulse time!' so i scrapped that and wrote in first person. More Ennaly, Woohoo! I think it reads like a diary entry but I really wouldn't know (never had a diary  ). Shorter than my usual stuff 424 words.

    Prompt: Climate

    Title: Hey! That's Cold!

I can’t believe I thought it would be ok to be on Hoth. I’m a desert girl, I know that, but Hoth doesn’t get much rain. The guys standing outside the shuttle said it would be cold. We even needed special gear. That should have been my first hint.

As Corso and I were sitting in the shuttle hurtling toward the planet, I was starting to get a little claustrophobic. Corso looked at me with his big, brown, soulful, perfect… I’m getting off topic. Corso looked at me worriedly.

    “Captain?”

“Yes Corso you have my attention,” always, forever, and for eternity you have my undivided attention.

“Captain, you do know what the climate is like here, right?”

“Cold, dry, doesn’t sound too bad,” just keep on talking Corso I want to hear your voice.

    “Captain, Hoth is supposedly-“

    “Ooh! Look Corso! We’ve landed!”

I know it was rude to interrupt him, not to mention cutting off his beautiful voice, but the people on the shuttle were really starting to get to me. He looked at me again with his deep, clear, jewel like… note to self: tell Corso to stop looking at me.

We, fine, fine, I jumped out of the shuttle and ran for the door. I was still a little flushed from the ride so I didn’t notice the cold at first. I was stopped at the door when Corso caught up to me. I think the words that came out of my mouth were something like, “Hagh! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh! Hagh! Hagh! Hagh!”

Corso answered with his typical care. He really does care about me. It’s so sweet. He’s so sweet. I need to get back to the subject. “Captain, I was trying to warn you.”

I think that was what he said; I was too busy staring at the blank whiteness that was spread out before me. I never knew it was possible to leave a dust cloud in snow but I might have succeeded. I sprinted for the shuttle.

“Let me in! Let me in! Let me in!” I was banging on the shuttle trying to get them to open the door.

“Captain, will you be alright?” Corso, so sweet, it really says something about how panicked I was that his voice didn’t register until later.

I couldn’t answer until we were back in that claustrophobic shuttle and headed back to my wonderful, perfect… another note to self: stop using so many adjectives. We went back to the ship so I could mentally prepare myself for the wasteland known as Hoth.

  4. Hi everyone! I had writers' block, went on vacation, and then I got sick. Not great for the creative process but I finally managed to finish a story. So I tell myself no more Ennaly stuff for a while, then my mind says ok but you have three half finished Ennaly stories, finish them then you can get back to your psychopaths. Sometimes the creative process sucks :p 1430 words, kinda long sorry.

    Prompt: NotLP Health

Characters: Ennaly(mirialan gunslinger), and introducing Anda'lynyth(zabrak sorcerer)

Title: What Could Possibly Go Wrong

“Hey guys! I found some not illegal work!” Ennaly was glad that she had found some work that probably wouldn’t result in someone declaring unending revenge on her, the crew, and her family for generations to come. “I’m going alone this time since it’s just going to be signing things. I wouldn’t want to bore you.”

“Captain, at least let me come. There might be trouble,” Corso was worried that she was leaving the ship alone.

“I’m just signing papers Corso, what could possibly go wrong?” Ennaly gave a cheerful smile to her crew and walked out the door.

She arrived at the hospital where they were sending out a new disease to a specialist place to create a vaccine. The people who hired Ennaly didn’t tell her much more than that. She was led to a back room and was told to wait while the shipment was checked. This is so boring. Why couldn’t I have brought Corso, Akaavi, or Guss? Just someone to talk to while they make sure everything is fine with their precious disease.

“Captain, would you like to check the shipment that is going on your ship?” The head doctor asked. She was a petite red zabrak with short dark hair who introduced herself as Anda’lynyth.

“Ok doctor, I do like making sure any deadly diseases going onto my ship don’t leak out,” Ennaly said lightly trying to get the serious doctor to smile. It didn’t work. There’s something about her I don’t like. I’m going to have to keep an eye on her while I’m here.

“Yes captain we would not like our shipment disrupted,” something flashed in Anda’lynyth’s eyes, but disappeared before Ennaly could tell what it was.

Ennaly walked into the room that contained the cargo. The containers were all marked with fragile stickers. When she made it to the last three boxes the door slammed shut behind her with enough force to knock one of the topmost boxes down. It shattered when it hit the floor, filling the room with toxic red smoke.

Ennaly started coughing as the gas entered her lungs; it felt like she was trying to cough up shards of glass. She made it to the viewing window, and listened to the doctors as they were discussing when it would be safe to open the door.

“There aren’t any force sensitives here so the doors can be opened as soon as the gas recedes,” The doctor was trying to reassure everyone in the room that it would be ok.

“The disease only targets force sensitives right?” Anda’lynyth asked. She wanted to make sure her plan would continue uninterrupted.

“Ah hem,” Ennaly was banging on the glass of the viewing window. “Did you say the disease targets force sensitives?”

“Yes captain that is what I said. You should be fine. We’ll let you out as soon as the smoke clears,” the doctor smiled as if he had just delivered good news.

“Call the ship please; I want them to hear my last words. The first of which are these; how stupid are you people exactly? This is a disease that targets ONLY force users and you manage to hire one of the only FORCE SENSITIVE smugglers in the ENTIRE GALAXY to move your PRECIOUS disease!” Ennaly was still coughing and it was getting more painful to breath. “On a more depressing, but less angry note what exactly can I look forward to experiencing in my last moments?”

“Well Captain,” Anda’lynyth was smiling now, cruelly. “After the excruciating pain I’m sure you must be feeling is gone, which could be anywhere from five more minutes to three more hours, you will begin to hallucinate, after which you will go into a delirious state, which could last up to two days. Lastly you will slip into a coma and die.” Anda’lynyth was no longer hiding her Imperial accent. “Your existence was a distraction to Etonya and I need her focused. When she’s focused, Zash’s attention is focused on her and not me. I have plans that require me to be able to move without a Darth hovering. Your death is nothing personal, it’s just business.” Anda’lynyth was walking to the exit. The people were waking up from the lighting that the sorcerer released. Anda’lynyth ignited her lightsabre, and with a combination of lightning and martial prowess, slaughtered the occupants of the room. “Enjoy your death!” Anda’lynyth got on a speeder that was apparently being manned by a large monster and sped off.

Ennaly was barely breathing through the pain when it vanished and the small room was filled with neon green womp rats and flashing purple wompas. The staff managed to get a call out to her crew before the sith’s onslaught, and when they arrived they found a room full of dead bodies and Ennaly locked in a smaller room apparently talking to herself.

“So you see chieftain,” Ennaly turned to the largest wompa. “The womp rat delegation will respect the boundaries if your people stop stealing their food.” Ennaly was trying to negotiate peace between the warring groups. All logical thoughts were rapidly fleeing and the disease was not even a memory in her fevered mind. “Now then king womp rat will you accept those terms as agreed.”

Corso, Akaavi, and Bowdaar were trying to break open the door. Corso threw his hands up in disgust, grabbed his rifle and blasted through the door. He ran in and picked up Ennaly.

“Good bye, I hope you find peace with each other. The handsome prince is here to rescue me from my evil step sisters,” Ennaly smiled and waved at the two tribes as they danced around the blue and brown flames.

“Don’t worry Captain; I’ll get you to a hospital quickly. You’ll be fine, you’ll be fine,” Corso kept repeating those words, more to himself than to her as the crew ran to the speeders that were parked outside. They admitted Ennaly into the hospital. Akaavi memorized the name of the disease that was in the crates and got a sample. The doctors were synthing up an antidote.

One of the doctors walked up to them. “We are working on an antidote as I speak and as long as no one who is force sensitive goes in there, she can have visitors.”

Corso almost left skid marks on the kind doctor as he ran to Ennaly’s room. She had made it through hallucinations and was now delirious.

“Hey, hey, I know you, don’t I?” Ennaly was smiling in Corso’s direction, kind of. The swirly things that floated were making it hard to concentrate on anything. “You’re Corso Riggs, right? You’re my farm boy. I looooooove you,” Ennaly was slipping into unconsciousness. There was something she needed to tell them. I need to tell them about… about… about something. The sith! I need to tell them, but I’m so tired. I’ll tell them when I wake up.

“Sir? Sir?” The doctor from before was trying to get Corso’s attention. “This is the last phase. The antidote is almost ready, but if she keeps moving this quickly through the disease, it will be very close.”

Ennaly was opening her eyes. As she looked around, she noticed two things. One: this was not her quarters on her ship. Two: Corso was sleeping in the chair next to her bed. After she noticed that she began to remember what happened, the disease, the sith, all of it. Corso woke up when Ennaly started trying to remove her hand from his grasp.

“How long have I been here? How long was I unconscious?”

“It’s been two days, eight hours, and twenty-three minutes Captain,” Corso gave her a sunny smile.

“Why are you smiling? Someone decided to put a full drum set in my head,” Corso started laughing. “It’s not funny! Why are you laughing?”

“You’re ok; you’re not going to die today. That’s why I’m laughing En.”

“Did you just call me En?” Ennaly started smiling.

“No,” Corso drew out the word. “I said Captain; I definitely said Captain.”

“Right, and it was my stunning lack of attention that led me to miss the first four letters?”

“Uh, um, that’s not what I meant Captain; I think you’re extraordinarily observant.”

Ennaly smiled at Corso. “I know, I’m just teasing you. Do you think you could get me some chocolate and butterscotch pudding, if you’re going to the cafeteria? I’m kinda munchy,” Ennaly smiled nervously.

“Chocolate and butterscotch pudding… got it,” Corso walked to the door.

“Thanks Corso!” Ennaly waved at him as he left.

  5. This is another piece about Ennaly having a good day. I felt I owed it to her after forcing her to have horrible days. She needs a few good ones. Right? Right.

Prompt: NotLP Allies, because an ally is someone you can be yourself with.

No spoilers. Takes place right after she and Corso arrive on Coruscant.

Title: Have You Ever Seen The Rain

The shuttle flight was finally over. Corso spent the time polishing his weapons and armor. Ennaly was reading the only book she had left, a compilation of fairy tales. They got off the shuttle; Ennaly had to slice the terminal because the activities her family had her in were not exactly legal, and she was on several Wanted lists.

They made it through the gates and were about to exit and find their contact when Ennaly stopped suddenly.

“C-Corso! Corso!” Ennaly was smacking his arm repeatedly to get his attention.

“Yes Captain, what’s wrong?” He was worried; there was nothing wrong that he could tell.

“What’s wrong with the sky? There’s something wrong with the sky Corso!” Her normally dark green skin was very pale.

“Captain,” Corso was really worried now. He was looking at the sky and there was nothing wrong. “I don’t see what’s wrong.”

“The sky is falling and you say there’s nothing wrong?!?” Ennaly was drawing a lot of attention now which she noticed and lowered her voice. “How can you say there is nothing wrong,” she hissed at him.

“Captain, that’s just rain. It’s not dangerous; it won’t hurt you,” he was trying to reassure her that everything was fine.

“I’ve read about rain, but I didn’t expect it to be so loud. Is it as wet as people say?” Now that Ennaly knew it wasn’t dangerous she was very curious about this strange new concept. “No wait don’t answer that; I want to feel for myself.”

Ennaly ran into the rain and started dancing. “Corso! You have to try this it’s amazing, it’s so wet!”

She didn’t look at him so she didn’t see him staring at her watching her enjoy the rain and, for the first time since he met her, not carrying that sadness that seemed to follow her like a crowd. He smiled and joined her; both of them dancing in the rain like fools. Ennaly was enjoying the feel of so much useless water running down her body. Corso was enjoying watching Ennaly, the real Ennaly not the front she showed everyone, laugh and smile, at him a lot.

“This stuff is amazing!” Ennaly wasn’t worried about showing true emotion, she wasn’t even worried about looking weak, or showing her age. She was having fun with someone she actually liked and that was amazing.

  6. Ok I don't really have a set universe, or at least one that is just beginning. So I decided to give a look at each of the backstories of the characters I'm going to write about in the future.

    Prompt: The Story So Far

    No spoilers

    Ennaly:

All her life Ennaly had been preparing for the day she would go to Tython and become a jedi knight. Her best friend was a red twi’lek from the moisture farm that bordered theirs. She got into a lot of trouble, including getting lost in a cave for two days when she was six. She was devastated when her father died when she was ten, and at sixteen, she ran away from home. She was adopted by a group of smugglers and three years later lost her new family to a pirate attack. She is fiercely protective of her new crew and is mortified by the possibility that they will realize she has no idea what she’s doing. She is in a relationship with Corso Riggs, and is loyal for this reason. “He is the first humanoid male that has shown any interest for me as something more than a friend and I will not let anyone near him… especially you Ensinlli.”

    Ensinlli:

Ensinlli has had a competition with her twin for as long as she can remember. She managed to steal every guy that started to show interest in her sister. She was very close to her older sister Tameery which excluded her sister from most of the family activities. Despite this, she loves her twin and will always be there for her. Her goal is to be the greatest jedi there ever was.

    Etonya:

Etonya was from a small family on Tatooine. She has no siblings, but was very close to Ennaly who lived on the moisture farm next to her family’s. When she was twelve slave traders attacked her home, and took her and her parents. She is force sensitive and her master found out and secretly trained her until the dark council found out, and sent her to Korriban. She is a homicidal psychotic maniac who will kill anything that stands in her general area. She does miss her friend though, and wonders what happened to her.

    Perrina:

Perrina was born to a prestigious family that incurred the wrath of Lord Etonya. The crazy sith killed her entire family but would not kill a baby. She was adopted and raised among murderers but is actually very nice. Her current goals are to escape her employer and convince her mother that killing everything is not always the best answer.

  7. Ok, I feel the need to prove that Ennaly is not all doom and gloom because at this point she is more sith than my sith. So this is her having a good day. Hopefully amusing. I hope you all like it.

Prompt: could be Firsts but is more Communications Breakdown

Major spoilers for a companion quest. Like I pretty much just paraphrased the whole conversation but as it would have happened in my world. My world is a very weird place :D

Ok, he wants to talk to me that could be a good sign. Ennaly was nervous; she and Corso had been on pins and needles around each other since the night. Why did he show up on my ship drunk? Why did I flirt with him like an idiot? This is probably the ‘I just want to be friends talk’; I’ve heard that often enough. Oh, look, I’m here, let’s get this over with.

“Captain, back on Ord Mantell I had a fiancée,” Corso began. He’s starting this conversation with talk of his ex? Maybe? I don’t know if he’s still seeing her. “but when my family died I went crazy and left her there when I joined the peace brigade and I haven’t heard from her since.”

I think he wants some response from me. “So… are you saying it’s over between you and her? I’m lost.”

“Yeah captain, that’s what I’m saying. You see things have been awkward between us and there’s something I need to tell you.”

“Let me guess, you just want to be friends, but you think my sister is hot and you want me to introduce you to her?” Wow, this took less time than usual.

“What? No captain, I don’t want to be friends.”

Ouch, that stings. Play it off arrogant and mocking like usual. “That’s great farm boy. You should put that on a greeting card.”

“What? No! I’m trying to ask if I can seek your hand.”

Think back to Tameery’s guide to male lingo. ‘Seek your hand’ means said male wants to enter a serious relationship. “What? Could you please repeat that?” There’s no way he could mean that. I’m not Ensinlli; I’m definitely not Tameery. I must have heard wrong.

“I’m trying to ask your permission to court you, Captain,” Corso was looking confused as the conversation spiraled out of control.

“Um…uh…yeah,” Say something cool, or interesting. Channel Tam, channel Tam. “If that means roses, love letters, and kissing before we’re supposed to, then yeah,” I hope that didn’t sound as stupid out loud, as it did in my head.

“I’ll work on the roses and the love letters; the rest I think we can manage,” as he took her in his arms.

Oh… um … wow!!! This is so much better than Tameery ever said. He smells sooooooo good, and I wasn’t crazy about the hair before but it’s absolutely perfect. He set me down; if I start giggling, I will never forgive myself. Maybe a real smile; haven’t done that in a while but a smile would be appropriate. I’m grinning like a fool but I don’t care.

“Um… we’ve got a busy day tomorrow. Get some sleep,” Ennaly watched him walk off and when he couldn’t hear her anymore (or so she thought) she started giggling interspersed with squeees.

  8. Hi! This story is mostly wishful thinking. Its something I've wanted to do since half-way through Nar Shaddaa. This is the first story that has my Pureblood Sith Juggernaut Perrina. No spoilers.

    Prompt: NotLP What If

    Title: If Only

“He has no personality,” Vette was complaining about the newest member of the crew… again.

“I know, but he has to mess up soon. Then we can throw him out the airlock,” Perrina had an idea hatching that was absolutely fool proof.

Perrina called her adoptive mother on the com at the exact moment Quinn was walking through.

“My lord! You must not associate with slaves over the holo!”

“Quinn, may I introduce you to my mother, Lord Etonya,” Perrina could barely keep the smile off her face. This was going perfectly.

“A sith lord is a twi’lek?” Quinn could feel his chances to live slipping away.

    “Mother?”

    “Yes, Perrina?”

“Do you find anything offensive about this force blind human?”

“Yes, actually I do. Dispose of him daughter,” Etonya was smiling, this was all very amusing to her.

Perrina ignited her lightsabre and proceeded to hack Quinn into small pieces.

“If you’re looking to end your current employment save the heart and throw the body out the airlock,” the smile on Etonya’s face sent even the most levelheaded jedi running scared. “I have a plan.”

    (Later that night)

“Yes Darth Baras, I disposed of the emotionless robot you sent to watch me. Oh, and your dinner? It contained his heart! Good bye forever you pathetic excuse for a sith!” Perrina was cackling as madly as her mother, who was now on the ship with her.

“Excellent work, I have taught you something,” There was glee in Fury tonight as the three current occupants joined hands and danced madly around the intercom.

“Mom? Do you know if Dad still has any contacts on Tatooine? I think I should lie low for a while… and maybe fake my own death.”

    Muah hahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!

  9. Time for a drumroll! Bring out the trumpets! It's time! The moment we've (or at least I've) been waiting for! It's finished! No spoilers. Set the day before Goals.

Prompt: Combination NotLP Bad Memories/Worst Day Ever

Title: Why I Hate the Jedi

The crew was gone. Ennaly gave each of them a stack of credits and told them to get off the ship and to not come back until sundown. It was an odd occurrence, she tended to be very protective of her crew, but today she needed to be alone. She bought some cheap, fragile vases from a not so dependable vendor, but today she didn’t care that he overcharged her.

It was the anniversary of her father’s death today; what made this year worse was that in the spaceport today she ran into the jedi who delivered the bad news around twelve years ago. Ennaly went to her cabin curled up on the bed and started sobbing. It was painful enough every year without seeing her too.

    (Around twelve years ago)

On the day it happened, her older sister Tameery was building something with Ensinlli, her twin, and Ennaly was playing Solitaire. It was a normal day. Her father was coming home and he would be there for three months!

There was a knock at the door; her mother went to answer it. It was her father’s padawan, Innovindil. Having her visit was common so Ennaly turned back to her solitaire game.

“I regret to inform you,” Hmm…she sounds upset, I wonder what’s wrong. “That in unforeseen circumstances,” I really wish she would just tell us what was wrong. “My master was struck down by the sith,” WHAT?!?!? She can’t really mean that! “It was a noble sacrifice,” I don’t care that it was noble! Struck down means dead, means never coming home.

Tameery was holding Ensinlli, and their mother was crying. Innovindil was still talking.

“It was an ambush, there were two sith and their apprentices waiting for us,” I thought jedi could see the future, why didn’t they see this coming. “My master distracted them and ordered me to run,” You listened?!? Why?!?!? He knew he couldn’t win. You left him to die. ”I have already returned to the council and gave them my report,” You went to the council first? We are…were… his family, we needed to be told first! “It is in times like this that we must remember the jedi code, there is no emotion, there is peace,” She’s quoting the jedi code. Really? Does she expect that to help, or is she showing us how great a jedi she is. “There is no death, there is the force.”

“No death! Than what happened to my father?!? Will he come back? Will we ever see him again? Do you really think that you being here is helping us at all?” Ennaly was shouting at Innovindil; in her head she was shouting at herself. Did I really say that out loud? Judging by the looks I’m getting that would be a yes.

“Ennaly,” Her mother was trying to get her to sit back down. “That isn’t helping, calm down.”

Well it was too late to go back to being invisible. “Do you think she,” Ennaly gave a disdainful look to Innovindil. “Is helping by following the rules and quoting the jedi code at us?”

“Ennaly! Go to your room until you can act civilly!” Her mother was going to escort her to her room.

“Fine, I’ll just go to my room and get back to my solitaire game. Good night mother, sisters, doom bringer.”

    (Back on the ship)

“How dare she! I was ten! It just wasn’t fair,” Ennaly picked up one of the vases and threw it against the wall. It shattered with a very satisfying crunch. She ran through the ship throwing the cheap ceramics this way and that. She turned on the radio and every station seemed to have some song about losing loved ones on so she grabbed her blasters and shot out the radio.

The crew came back and found her cleaning pottery shards next to the smoking comm unit. Her hands were bleeding and there were tears streaming down her face.

“Please don’t ask. Go about your business on the ship and please don’t ask.” Ennaly could barely get the words out. Time got away from her and the crew got back much sooner than expected.

“Captain, are we going back to Belsavis?” The rest of the crew left, Corso was going to navigate. Ennaly was in no position to do her job right now.

“No Corso, set a course for Tattooine. I need to see my mother, there’s something I need to tell her.”

He looked at her sadly, ”Anything you want captain.”

    Author notes:

While this was in my head everything I thought about writing was all doom and gloom. Now I can prove En does have some good days as well. Definately Woohoo! worthy. :D

  10. Hi everyone! This is another Ennaly story. Its short just 230 words.

    Prompt: Goals and Ambitions

Corso and Ennaly were trudging through Belsavis in silence. The silence was getting awkward and it was up to Corso to break it.

“So, Captain, do you have any long term plans for the future?” He wanted to take her mind off of yesterday. It seemed to be an innocent enough question.

“Hmmm… My goals are to eradicate every pirate and sith from the known universe; then I’m going to expose the jedi as the sanctimonious, hypocrites that they are,” Ennaly looked back at Corso, he stopped awhile back and just looked stunned. “Oh, you didn’t want an honest answer?” That stunned look was still there. “Enough about me, What about you? You must have plans for the future.”

“Well Captain, after that I must say that my plans involve keeping you alive for as long as possible when you go on crusade,” He caught up with her and they continued walking. “But why would you go after the jedi?”

“I’ll tell you when we get off Belsavis,”

They continued walking in silence with Corso looking questioningly at Ennaly ans Ennaly pretending to ignore him and trying not to cry.

“Maybe I should go after the jedi first,” Ennaly was whispered.

    “You say something Captain?”

“No, onward to the end of this miserable place,” She gave him a smile and walked with more of the usual bounce in her step.

    Author notes:

Ennaly has gotten good at hiding her emotions over the last couple of years. I just wish the reason she hates jedi wasn't so sad. Why must she have problems! Why couldn't she have been a cheerful psychopath like Etonya! Why!

  11. Hi everyone!! This is the first story I've written about my sith inquisitor.

    Prompt: Alternant Perspectives/ Affection

Spoilers: Sith Inquisitor act one spoilers.

There was more grumbling in Khem’s quarters as he battled Darth Zash for supremacy in his own head. Etonya had her head under her pillow and she was trying to sleep. It had been weeks since her last ritual and Khem seemed more miserable than ever. She gave up trying to sleep and started searching the holonet for something that might cheer him up.

“Hmmm…This could be fun,” Etonya started cackling until Andronikos woke-up and threw a pillow at her. She considered using the force to shock him but he was already asleep and it wasn’t worth the wasted energy.

The rest of the night passed without incident; when everyone was awake, Etonya set course for Balmorra.

On Balmorra Etonya and Khem walked through the battlegrounds. Khem was confused, Etonya generally left him on the ship and traveled with the pirate. They wandered around for a little while longer when Etonya suddenly stopped in front of a dilapidated building.

“Little sith why do we waste our time on this world,” Khem growled at Etonya.

“We are here because there is a deployment of Republic soldiers and at least four jedi in this, for lack of a better term, building,” Etonya was practically overflowing with glee. “I shall deal with the soldiers; you my monster shall eat the jedi.”

They split up in the front hall because Khem said he could smell jedi.

Etonya lit her double-bladed lightsabre and, with a cheerful hello, proceeded to empty the room of all living inhabitants. It was great, there were limbs flying everywhere and people trying to get out of the way of the manically laughing sith lord.

The last man was mortally wounded and obviously not thinking clearly, when he said, “This was an unprovoked attack on soldiers of the Republic. Why did you come?”

“Do you really want to know?” Etonya shocked the man. “I was looking around the holonet for a way to cheer up my Dashade when I stumbled upon your operation and thought it was the perfect thing for him,” she stabbed him and looked around at the devastation she caused. She started giggling, she couldn’t stop and she knew just knew that if Khem could hear her he would find a way to say she wasn’t as good as Tulak Hord and he would mention the battlefields of Yn and Chabosh. That thought started her giggling again.

    (Elsewhere)

Khem Val was lumbering through the hallways following the scent of jedi. He made it to the end and found a room where there were five jedi and three padawans deep in meditation. The nearest jedi looked up and he was eaten first. The remaining jedi alerted by the screams of their companion ignited their lightsabres and attacked the hostile being.

Khem ripped through the forces of the jedi feasting with glee. It was an odd feeling; ever since the little sith awoke him back on Korriban he had to make sure she was safe, he had to follow her will, and then he saved her from the witch and now his head was not his own anymore. He had faithfully followed her and when they landed on Tatooine she abandoned him for that pirate.

The jedi were mostly gone and the witch in his head was silent for the first time in a long time. It was a good feeling, and he finished off a particularly crunchy jedi. He left in search of his sith and found her giggling in the midst of destruction. Most of the room did not survive her assault. He grumbled disapprovingly, “Little sith Tulak Hord never giggled, not even on the battlefields of Yn and Chabosh.” For reasons he could not understand she was laughing harder, then she asked, “How were the jedi? Did they taste good?”

“They were weaker than the jedi of old but they will do. One was very crunchy, it was like eating a giant beetle,” Khem grumbled this last bit with a look of mild disgust.

Etonya straightened suddenly and looked at Khem. “I hate this planet let’s get back to civilization,” she flashed a grin at Khem before running out the door and back to the spaceport.

    Author notes:

For reason or reasons unknown Etonya has always been attracted to Khem.:rak_02: Its kind of disturbing...at least she's fun to write!!

  12. I was recently struck with inspiration for a story that fits this weeks prompt nicely.

    Prompt: Failure

Spoilers: If mentioning a companion's name is a spoiler than minor spoilers.

Ennaly had sent most of the crew out and she was now gladder then ever she made that decision.

“Eeeeee***kk!” Ennaly screamed. She was staring in her mirror with a look of growing horror.

While she was working on the engines, Risha heard a scream from the vicinity of the captain’s room. She strolled that way unhurriedly sure that there couldn’t be anything too dangerous on the ship since none of the crew had actually come back yet.

When she made it to Ennaly’s bedroom, the door burst open and both girls screamed. Ennaly screamed in surprise; Risha screamed in the realization that Ennaly probably did something horrible to herself.

“Um…did you mean to do that to your face?” Risha was staring openly at the tragedy on her captain’s face.

Ennaly looked around nervously and gestured for Risha to enter. Ennaly’s room was a disaster area, only now more so than usual. The table under her mirror was covered in cosmetics and there was an instruction pamphlet attached to the mirror.

“I followed all the instructions, then I looked in the mirror and there was this!” Ennaly was gesturing madly and her voice was hysterical.

Now that she knew what happened, Risha started laughing. It started as a giggle and progressed into gales of laughter. Ennaly did not look amused. The thick black eye-liner, fluorescent yellow eye-shadow, and hot pink lip gloss that were currently on the face of the mirialan captain accentuated the glare she turned on Risha nicely. Risha continued laughing and looked at the various cosmetics that were obviously made for a human complexion. They could hear the main hatch open and the voices of the other members of the crew as they entered the ship.

Ennaly turned a desperate look to Risha, “Please help me get this junk off my face.”

  13. Alright...first time poster, long time reader. First I want to say the stories on this thread are amazing. Second I have no idea how to do the spoiler thing so huge wall of text incoming, sorry.

Night of the Living Prompt: Turning Point

“C’mon Li keep up!” Ennaly was laughing at her twin. They had been down at the spaceport looking at the new people arriving that day. The suns were going down and their mother would be furious if they were late again.

“Ennaly, Ensinlli!” Ennaly was right their mother was furious, and strangely nervous as she called her oldest daughters. “Come here, we have guests.”

Ennaly first noticed the brown robes of their guest. He was a jedi and she knew exactly why he was here.

“Girls you know that you both are force sensitive, this kind jedi is here to test you,” Their mother said this like it was some great treat.

“I would like to tell you about the opportunities you will have in the jedi order,” the jedi did not seem to realize that this was Ennaly’s worst fear. While her sister was listening attentively, Ennaly was listening in growing horror at the stories about rules and restrictions.

“Mother! I should go check the vaporators while there is still sunlight,” Ennaly was desperate to leave the room and the plans that were being put into place for her future.

“Good idea, hurry back!” Her mother let her leave not knowing it would be the last time she saw her daughter.

Ennaly went and did some minor repairs on the vaporators because she told her mother she would; there was some damage on the machines that could get serious quickly. After she did the repairs she ran off toward the spaceport.

She spent most of the first few seconds trying to adapt to the crowds without the protection of her twin. There was a ship leaving that night, and Ennaly was adept at blending in. She stowed away on the ship without drawing any notice to herself. As she felt the ship take off she knew she was on her way to a new life.

    (Three weeks later)

“I don’t understand captain, food just keeps disappearing!” This was just another in a long line of complaints that the captain had heard since they left Tattooine. Ennaly smiled from her hiding spot, they still hadn’t noticed and, other than the food, she returned everything.

“Just keep a closer eye on stores, I don’t want to have to stop and resupply anytime soon,” the captain was puzzled about the disappearances as well: food, clothes, and strangest of all books were disappearing and then reappearing all over the ship. It was slightly troubling that this was still a mystery.

Later that night Ennaly was returning a book when she felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned around to the angry face of the cook.

“Where have you been hiding?” The cook yelled in her face loudly enough to wake the rest of the crew.

Ennaly was horrified; her sister was the one who was social, not her. As she tried to form a coherent answer, the captain surprisingly came to her rescue.

“Let her go, there was no true harm done; I think she was quite clever to hide this long,” the captain was smiling slightly.

“No harm done! She stole two of my best outfits!” The first mate was screaming.

Ennaly’s brain finally started working enough for a snappy comeback. “I put them all back!” Okay snappy in her own mind but she said something, Ensinlli would have been proud. At the thought of her twin brought tears to her eyes.

“I’m looking for a job,” Ennaly was currently feeling a combination of mortal terror and heartbreaking sorrow; she wasn’t really paying attention to what came out of her mouth.

“A job…that might not be a bad idea,” the captain looked thoughtful. “Do you know anything about smuggling?”

Ennaly got a hold on the sadness but the terror was still there. “Smuggling, the illegal transport of goods, I could learn if it means you won’t kill me.”

The captain now looked offended. “We aren’t murderers. What’s your name?”

    “My name is Ennaly.”

    (Three years later)

Dear Ensinlli, I’m writing to you…Ennaly stopped here because she knew she would never actually send the letter. I’m writing to you because in a week is your nineteenth birthday and I wanted to say Happy Birthday! “This is ridiculous,” Ennaly said to herself. “I don’t even know where she is now.”

The alarm next to her went off and she got out of her hiding spot, ready to start the day. She was proud that to this day her new family still didn’t know where she went to get away from them. They adopted her pretty quickly. The cook and the first mate still despised her, but she stole almost exclusively from them so it was understandable. She laughed quietly to herself and started to get out of bed.

There were strange voices in the hallway and she didn’t like being out when there were strangers on the ship, so she stayed put and listened…that saved her life. There was yelling in the hallway and then there was blaster fire. The terror she thought she left behind three years ago came back in full force; it froze her in place and all she could do was listen as the sounds of death echoed throughout the ship. The sounds of fighting stopped and she could hear the pirates talking about destroying the ship as they disembarked. Ennaly ran to the controls and sent the ship into hyperdrive before the pirates had their cannons warmed up.

While scouring the ship she found nothing but dead bodies; the pirates took all the cargo and supplies. Ennaly did not cry while she was searching the ship but afterward she completely broke down. After an hour of sobbing, she pulled herself together and went back to the controls. She was close to Nar Shaddah, the only place she could think of. Nar Shaddah was the crew’s next destination and Ennaly was grateful the captain believed in paying for supplies in advance and had everything set up for their arrival.

Ennaly landed on Nar Shaddah and spoke to the contact there. She left with restocked supplies, which would last longer with just her using them, and a shipment of blasters. She set the course and entered hyperspace. She started crying again when she could look away from the controls. She rested a bit and pulled herself together when she was nearing her destination.

“I can fall apart later,” she said to herself, a habit she fell into when she really needed to think. “Right now I have blasters to deliver to Ord Mantel.”

Ennaly is my Miriallan smuggler who I got to Belsavis but was so under leveled that i must give her up. Her sister is my consular who I gave up on in the middle of Coruscant because I don't like the voice acting. They are the only actual characters in this story.
