  1. I haven't had any problems since I got the "launcher update" until today. I can't get it to even open to try to do a launcher repair on it.  I play on Star Forge and live in the Northeast. I have rebooted my computer several times, reset my modem and my router, still no launcher screen.  I'd love some help or guidance. I generally play "run as administrator" which I click on manually. This is the first time in years I've had issues.

  2. From the drop down menu at the top? I have done that a dozen times on 4 different toons. There is no tab selection for Vehicles if you have Pets, which I do. I don't want to use the Random Mount option. I want them back on my task bar so I can pick and choose which one I want to use.
  3. Other replies I have seen here and on the game say to hit letter P.I have hit P numerous times, tried scrolling down on every selection. Nothing. No Mounts pane. Last pane in the drop down menu is Pets, Legacy right above it. Apparently there are only 5 categories allowed in the drop down. Where Are My Mounts????
  4. I'm going to be a nay sayer here. It wasn't done well at all. It's contrived and confusing, especially for someone like me who has OCD. My brain can't see any usable organization to it. It's as though they just put a box out for stuff to be dumped into any old way. I had anticipated to see it like this:

    1) It would be a storage item set up exactly like a Cargo Hold or Legacy Storage, with tabs at the bottom for each crafting discipline clearly labeled: Artifice, Armstech, Armormech, etc.

    2) As you gathered for any of the disciplines the mats would automatically be sent to the proper tab upon accepting the reward.

    3) The tabs would be user friendly to allow you to set up the mats inside of it in an order that works for YOU.

    4) Items received from Companion missions for Underworld, Investigation, Slicing, Diplomacy, etc, would automatically go into the tab for the discipline it was set up for. Since a few of the crafting disciplines use some of the same items, you could arrange which tab you want it to go to. Again it would be user friendly to allow for self customization.

    5) The storage facility would be the same size as a fully unlocked Cargo or Legacy hold with six tabs, 80 slots per tab.

THIS is what I expected, what I had envisioned, not an empty junk box. I do not intend to use it. I'll just purchase an additional tab for my Cargo and Legacy Holds and keep my brain happy with my current organization. Sorry people, but I had expected so much better than what we got.

  5. Okay, this is my own personal opinion for what its worth. I do not like the inquisitor class at all, if I HAVE to play an Inquisitor I generally go for Lightning Sorc. I love my marauders, when geared right they can be total brutes. I generally go with Annihilation spec. I keep them geared up with my crafters, especially on their light sabers. They can do some really great damage. Just my 2 cents worth. Good luck in your search and leveling!
  6. I couldn't agree more--the new opening scenes are very well done. Pretty sure they had to stick with the same dialogue as before because it would have required new recordings from those voice actors as well as new facial movements for the words being spoken. Regardless, they Rock!! :)
  7. I always go for the weapons and shield which works for my play style. However, I've noticed when I'm on my troopers (especially)

Arcann is immune to EVERYTHING except explosive round. It takes F O R E V E R to get him down to 50% so you can start using the shield.

I'm just wondering if that's a new bug because I don't remember it taking that long when chapter 16 first came out.

  8. I just replayed chapter 16, Battle of Odessen, and while running through Arcann's flagship I went into all the rooms to get the gear as I have always done. Sure enough, when I hit that ONE room where I always mysteriously die, I did in fact die. I was so confident that wasn't going to happen--but instead of skipping it I just barged my way in and BOOM, down I went.

Maybe they were more "invisible" than what the devs thought. :(

  9. While I agree with what most have written here about leveling up quickly to get to the end game Ops and what-not, I personally am one of those who don't like being level-synched on a starter world before I'm even on my way to Fleet. I like starting at lv 1, only doing story line quests and being lv 10 or lv 11 when I'm done and on my way to Fleet. I enjoy the casual leveling because I'm not in a rush. I don't do heroics or planet arcs intentionally so I don't out-level a planet before I'm done. I like a bit of a challenge fighting mobs and chapter bosses. With the current bonus XP event going on I have gotten the anti-XP crystal to use on my lower alts and I love it. My personal opinion is that the leveling rate should be dialed back by, say, 20% or so, to give us veterans some level of enjoyment that the game had during its first year, while allowing newer players a chance to level up a little faster if they want to do end game stuff. That's just my 2 cents worth.
  10. The very same thing happened to me last night. After battling him for over 15 min (getting the same message as you) I /stuck the fight and restarted it. This time I got behind him and kept my back to the stairs to the bridge, backing up a few steps when I could. This seemed to help trigger the events as they are supposed to happen, thus allowing me to finish the fight with shield bash and conclude the chapter.
