  1. I gambled away all of my free CC's on these... what do you get... Well I got a lot of useless speeders and 'THAT' mask. I'm sure if items had a high end place in the economy then folks might buy them for the credits...but when you get stuff with a market value of 50k then People won't want ot blow $5 to get 50k in game.

Maybe if they sold me a house or a chair I could sit on (I can sit on speeders anyway).

  2. Just to clarify:

As a subscriber, I have a windfall of Cartel Coins to spend, and I have 12 slots; I'd like to bring the number up to 16 at least.

    Thanks,

    Z.

They are monitoring your account now and as soon as you spend your free CC's they will drop the additional 4 slots on the market.

  3. To me the big question is how frequent will content be released and what price range will it follow? If you plan to keep up with all the new content, like Section X, and it costs about 1500 CC for account wide access, you may be paying for that every 6 weeks.

Sorry, were you jesting there? It takes 6 weeks to run the patches to fix new content alone! On what planet will they ever release updates every 6 weeks (apart from items in the cash shop).

Someone asked what you will be doing when 1.5 hits and I said waiting for the patch..... Well I didn't get to play on day one due to extended downtime.... then day two came the patch.

  4. Not sure if people noticed this yet, but from DarthHater's post about the media conference call yesterday that BW had on F2P: "Players will be able to purchase additional character slots with Cartel Coins shortly after F2P launches." Link to DH's post is here: http://www.darthhater.com/articles/swtor-news/22284-bioware-press-q-a-reveals-free-to-play-launching

I'm sure the other alt-a-holics, like me, will be glad to here that.

They'll want to get you to spend your free coins before comes out. Get subscribers paying more quickly.

  5. Because if you use the mouse for clicking abilities then you are not using it for moving, which means that you are moving with WASD, which is a whole lot slower than moving with the mouse. To press keys for the abilities, on the other hand, is a whole lot faster than klicking them with the mouse. So by moving with the mouse and keybinding abilities your reaction times are much shorter than the other way round and this is a huge advantage both in PvE and PvP, but in particular in PvP.

I move with the arrow keys, sometimes I auto run and move with the mouse.

I use arrows to move and have 5 buttons on my mouse. My thumb is for jumping and targeting (mb4 and mb5) while mb3 is for autorun if I want to move with mouse.

I don't really PVP (occasional warzone but only really like the original 3 turrets map)

It's also a game so I'm not really bothered with reaction time. If I was pressing keys all the time it would seem like I was still at work! :D

  6. I have no problem with black ops cells operating outside of the normal chain of command, thats pretty much standard in everyones army.

However I would say the trooper storyline was pretty weak and not enjoyable when compared to every other class quest.

Got to agree with this comment.

  7. Lots of lag last night.. Try to follow a player and see just how that responds now!

I had to move from an instance of 69 on Alderaan to an instance with 6 folks in. I lost the ability to see the name/health of something when targetted so had to chnage the setting for enemy npc names on all the time.

  8. Why are there no character slots for sale in the Cartel shop? There are still people who would like 16 characters, or people who already have 16 from the server merges but won't be able to make their Cathar when they release. If you could consider adding character slots to the cartel shop i think it would be a great money maker for you.

They want you to use your free cartel coins up on other stuff first so you have to drop some cash when they release them later.

  9. I agree.

Right now, advancing legacy past 25 is pointless. I'm at 46 right now and i get no benefit from it. Could at least reduce the ridiculous Legacy gear/perk pricing.

I dunno though, maybe they have plans for higher level legacies in the future? It really just seems like a huge hole was left in there.

Legacy is an idea from the game creators...it's a conflict with Cash Shop.
