  1. I’ll preface this by saying I’m an entirely PVE sin tank, all nim ops prior to 3.0 and since returning in 5.10 aside from nim gods, so what I’m talking about will be from that point of view. I have tested the entirety of sm dxun, Hm Red (first dxun boss) and a number of master mode flashpoints

     

    Sin tanks have been the go to tank for PVE for a long time with PT and jugg being roughly equal, PT maybe slightly ahead

     

    The latest changes from the 3.0 patch drastically nerfed darkness assassins compared to how they were in phase 2 and even a little weaker than they are on live with the changes to the tank set bonus (spike with 10% dr instead of 20%) the best all round utility tactical ( 2% dr for each target hit with whither changed to 2% absorb per target) and the removal of 60% damage absorbed on force speed utility.

     

    With the buffs to PT’s in the form of set bonuses, tactical and power yield they will likely be the go to tank unless there are mechanics that require shroud or reflect, ie a tank cheese to a degree.

     

    What I’d like to see happen with 6.0 going live to bring sins up a bit is a reverse of one of the changes/nerfs mentioned above or preferably a middle ground on 2 of the 3, for example the tactical granting shield and absorb, the spike dr set bonus being 20% with a longer Cooldown (30 seconds?) attached to the set itself or tanks getting the 25% absorbed damage on force speed utility as deception or hatred has.

     

    I also believe the immortal juggernauts need a significant buff in the form of a set bonus or a tactical to keep them truly competitive, but as I don’t really play jugg tank aside from when sins/pt is locked I don’t know what to suggest.

  2. did the first 2 bosses in KP HM before having to leave for work,

     

    on the first boss we got 1 iokath unassembled piece, 1 renown boost, a 246 mod blueprint and one of the new crafting materials, in addition to this only 1 person in the group recieved any tech components

     

    for second boss, in addition to all but 1 carbonize droid spawning inside the wall we got 1 sorc dps set piece bracers, 1 of the new material, 1 blue print but this time apparently no one recieved any tech components.

     

    Overall the gear acquisition needs to be straight up fixed/reworked if this is to be tested at all in the coming days/weeks

  3. I’ll start of by saying that everyone in my group has killed all nim bosses (except gods) and timed runs

     

    We didn’t hav enough to run anything nim so the 4 of us decided to mess around doing hammer station and sm ec. Group comp was merc heals, pt and op dps and pt tank.

     

    For hammer station nothing hit hard enough and died too quickly, even the bonus boss was a joke. When athiss, cadememu, hammer station and mando raiders? First launched as master modes you had to seriously think about whether you wanted to do the bonus bosses as they were challenging and could be a roadblock for some players. When we hit it it was just face tank it, never fell below like 80% hp with the healer dpssing most of the time. Overall boss damage could probably be doubled and hp raised by 50% still be accessible to the vast majority of players. Also encountered a bug on the first boss where the stacks were auto falling off/cleansed at 3 stacks without the healer doing it.

     

    For sm EC a similar thing, adds hitting harder than the bosses and it was significantly easier than currently on live, had our pt dps tank some of the first 3 bosses with no trouble. With just the 4 of us we pushed the walker in the final boss fight to 19% with first bomb without the use of adrenals and saving some offensive cool downs. The boss damage needs to be raised or there’s no real point in using tanks for sm ops and may as well just bring dps and heals.

    yeah, I'm familiar with that particular meaning of "bad" when used by top progression raiders.

     

    well technically xalk is our tank and we don't let him dps for a reason.

     

    i mean its like technically erodoeht can heal, kaerie can dps and tank, Beastfury can heal and d'buenos can tank but theres a reason groups don't let them do it

  5. If your outgoing heals are great, but you constantly run out of Mana your not being precise.

     

    What is is this mana you speak of, I demand to have access to the mana. If not i curse you with bad pugs and undercutting on the gtn. :mad:

     

    also just a small point, it never says anywhere that this is a guide for beginners, i mean once you read it it becomes obvious, and we all know ero needs all the help he can get

  6. you can fill out an app to contact us through http://tede.enjin.com/gearsales it also has the name and contact details for our raid lead within it. while we can accommodate 8 man runs on pub side, 16 man may be more difficult for DF/DP and may end up taking a little longer to organise or even switching to imperial side and collaborating with another guild, which we can sort out on our end
  7. hey man, while TEDE sales are primarily APAC, if you do fill out an app here, http://tede.enjin.com/gearsales , and state down the bottom that you can't do our time we could see about doing a run on our Saturday/sunday afternoon which would be your Friday or Saturday night. I can't guarantee we'd be able to do it though as it'd be dependent upon when we could get enough of our main raiders on
  8. Incidentally I was doing some research/snooping yesterday. What I found:

    BC looks like a negative and closest contender off server

    PoT5 1 is inactive and 2 no longer on server

     

    Harbinger is now nexus of both PvE and PvP. Willing be interesting to see how this trend continues.

     

    with regards to the BC progression, as i was originally from there after APAC servers closed i still jump over there every now and again, but for their progression i believe all of the guilds that were/are 5/10HM or higher have either stopped raiding or transferred to other servers to rebuild their ranks/compete more

  9. t I forgot to pop an adrenal with my opener on Ruugar

     

    don't feel to bad, my first cora kill i was accidentally running double focused retribution relics on my gunslinger. didn't realise until we were doing malaphar the next week and was wondering if i needed another relic or not. still managed to out dps ero though XD

  10. after talking to some people who actively had exploited, those that only exploited once or twice didn't receive any suspensions, those that did it 3+ times got 1 day suspension and I haven't personally talked to anyone who received a more than 1-2 day ban. What annoys me more is the fact that one of the players that transferred the HM lockout from harbinger to beregan colony only received a 1 day ban which is, in my opinion a joke.
