I played without issue for several hours yesterday. What ISP issue needs to be fixed?
Most US servers were unplayable all afternoon yesterday. There were a bunch of threads about it. It seems the problem may be fixed, which is awesome.

I would love it, and would immediately start a Rodian smuggler.

I LIKE PvP. I don't like open world PvP where, just as I'm fighting some nasty mob, an idiot runs by and zaps me so I die. Or, if the world is going to be open world PvP, have there be NO aggro mobs, at all.

I couldn't really play yesterday, and I don't want to get my hopes up for today unless that whole fiasco with ISPs and whatnot has been fixed.

Yeah it's ridiculous. Ilum IS A PVP PLANET. It has PVP objectives and valor boosts on the pvp side. If you have to go there for the new event it's to encourage PVP.
We've had 2 PVE events. It's about time we get a PVP one.
Ilum hasn't been a PvP planet in almost 9 months.

forcing people to do pvp in order to do pve content on a pve server is what the problem is. DUH!!!

Ebon Hawk is a mess for me. Pennsylvania on Comcast cable. Never had issues like this before today.
Also, I wouldn't be surprised if it's NOT the ISP. Also, I was on Guild Wars 2 for hours before this with no lag whatsoever.

Ebon Hawk is a mess. MASSIVE lag. Tried to leave ship, stuck on loading screen for over 2 min. Ended up hard closing game.
edit: just logged back in. I'm still on my ship. However, I try to go down the steps to the exit door and I hit the "invisible wall" halfway down. Can't even make it to the bottom level (Bounty Hunter ship).

For me, I really like the basics of this game. A lot. However, every single time we get a patch the devs break something, usually very obvious. It's like they don't even playtest a minor change. I feel that they just don't care and are collecting a paycheck.
Also, compare the Known Issues list with the Patch Notes. They do not match up, except for maybe one item every 3rd patch.

Are companions invisible? Do lightsabers not turn on? Does the main questgiver for low level quests no longer work?

This is true. Security Key does require a phone call. I have sat on hold for 4 hours when it was toll free with no answer trying to reset it. Don't know if that has shortened recently. Lesson be careful with your security key.
Unless it's changed in the last few months, it does not require a phone call. Just use the website to set it up.

Thank you Bioware for making me save money!
I'm never going to buy anything from the Cartel Market again, they might change it later in a way I don't like.
+1. You should NEVER change an item like this after people have paid extra money for it. That's Business 101 stuff.

How about fixing a simple quest on Section X where we currently cannot free the gammorean leader (which should be tied, but isn't cause its bugged).
Yep, this needs fixed. You can find other leaders but it's annoying.

Wrong. You didn't take the precaution of reflecting the situation. That doesn't mean that you're wrong or at fault but anyone who bought this stuff should of known that there was a big chance that it would eventually be changed.
hahaha! Don't hurt yourself twisting logic into pretzels trying to defend Bioware. In all reality, this kind of stuff is the basis of many a complaint to the Better Business Bureau or even a lawsuit.

Would you still play it? After re-subing after quitting 2 months after launch, i find myself asking... Would i play this game if it was not star Wars? My Answer is no. If i did not get to be a jedi or a sith (i cant seem to get into the other classes... i have tried... cant keep playing them after LV 20 or so) i wouldnt play it. Without the game being Star Wars for me, it just wouldnt be playable. It is a decent game. I enjoy playing it.. Take away the Star Wars themes, and story, just a sub par MMO with too many bugs.
I am not sure if I'd still be here if it wasn't Star Wars. I LOVE the setting. I even like the gameplay (until you get to 50, which sucks). But if I can't be Sith, it's a hard choice.

It would have been very simple for Bioware to just release a new set of armor with the revised look. Instead, they took this route. I love it!

Inspect and color customization are still broken.

Bugs are stacking on top of bugs, so... I will be impressed if there are a lot of bug fixes.
A patch this big will easily introduce more bugs than it fixes. I fully expect all companions to be bright purple tomorrow evening, after all the servers crashed and had to be rebooted.

I am all for this. I'd love to have an assassin using just one regular lightsaber!
