  1. The Imperial Agent is generally considered to be the best story line.

After that it's generally a toss up between fans. The Jedi Knight and Sith Warrior are the most connected to the current story line.

The SW is probably better at portraying a "power fantasy" than the other 7 classes. In other words if you want to basically play Vader and crush everyone under your boot the SW is the best class suited for that.

That is the reason I enjoyed my BH even if the story after ch 1 was so so at best.

  2. Getting from 55-60 is silly easy though. Forged alliances alone gets me from 55-57... and always ding 60 on Rishi...

Even if you do no side quests rishi, yavin, ziost are more than enough to get from 55 to 60 and it takes what 5 hours tops to to all those story missions. Also forged alliances get you to lvl 57.

  3. 1) A substantive solo questing experience on the new planet or planets. This would parallel the depth experienced while initially leveling a character to 50, and hopefully have some variety between classes.

    2) More than "Makeb-sized" additions to core content: multiple new FPs, WZs, and Ops. The Makeb expansion was quite small, and I'm still holding out hope that 3.0 will have a little more to it. I'm sure subscribers would happily pay much more than the $10 Makeb was if there is more playable content included, and it would be both healthy for the game and the CM.

    3) Opening up some of the game that was initially there in Beta like companion role kits, and moddable green and blue armor shells and weapons especially. It's fair to say the CM has a healthy customer base that isn't going anywhere. Having some more options from the game itself for armor and weapons would be welcome.

    4) A minigame (preferably Pazaak, but something new for SWTOR would also work if BW wants it to be distinct from KOTOR) to be played in cantinas against NPCs and various other locations, like larger bases on planets, the Fleet, etc. Features like this would continue to make the game-world feel more alive and interactive.

    5) A few new daily areas. 2013 had CZ-198 and Oricon, the latter of which was particularly well-made. We didn't see any so far this year, and adding some new areas with an initial or repeating (optional) story would be ideal.

    6) Some additional customization options for the character creation/modification screens. I don't really mind if no new species are introduced, but some new looks for existing ones would be a good addition.

    7) Incentives for dueling. Right now, I think it is a very underutilized feature. It's a quick and almost always fun diversion to duel someone, but too few people are willing to in my experience. Adding some incentives (reputation, commendations for unique gear skins and weapons, titles and achievements, etc.) would take an existing system and make much better use of it.

There are a few modable green items(some droid parts a few comps come with modable green weapons) Idont see a reason to add this since with custom gear the color does not matter only the mods you put into it.

I think character coustimations need a huge overhaul easily one of the most lackluster things about the game. At the very least they need to add more to it badly.

  4. I ONLY WANT A STAR WARS: THE OLD REPUBLIC EMPLOYEE TO REPLY IN THIS THREAD. NOBODY ELSE. WITH ALL DUE RESPECT TO MY FELLOW POSTERS, YOUR OPINION ON THIS MATTER MEANS NOTHING. I WANT SOME REAL ANSWERS. I WILL BUMP THE THREAD IF NEED BE.

Good morning Eric and other esteemed members of the Old Republic crew. I'm sure you already know who I am, but if not please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Sir Copperfield. I'm your most famous, important and well liked subscriber. Now that the introductions are over, let's get onto business.

I need a direct explanation on why you're capping my Stronghold at 500 decorations? This is unacceptable to me. There is so much more I want to do. I had plans for an outdoor casino. I had plans for a different theme in every room., etc etc.

When you have the reputation in gaming that Sir Copperfield has, you need to show off a little. I thought this was the perfect opportunity to do so. Finally, I had a place to take my female groupies, instead of some dark corner of the Fleet. Finally I had a place to throw a nice party after dominating another Warzone. Finally I had a place to relax with my fellow players after carrying them through a tough Operation...

I'm embarrassed because my place feels like it's half done and when you're a Gaming Legend, that just doesn't sit right. I need to know when this ridiculous cap on decorations will be lifted.

    -Sir Copperfield.

I love the after carrying them through the op part. I a, fairly sure I have seem this op posts before and all reach the same lvl of lol/ ridiculousness .
  5. Great post title. Then I click in to find it's another 'more pvp maps' post. /sigh

The idea that pvp and GSF are 'forgotten' parts of the game is ludicrous.

FWIW, there are forgotten parts of the game, and yes it would be nice to see something new for them. The idea of some tweeks to the early class stories is good. I don't know if anyone plays space on rails anymore, but it would be nice for it not totally become a forgotten ghetto. Maybe attach some unique decorations or gear to it, or make it part of one or two conquest weeks.

Regarding pvp maps, I find that extra maps would not hugely improve pvp. Ultimately, pvp is about going up against other players, trying to kill them. The scenery doesn't affect that much.

The only exception I can think of would be something radically different, such as a map like the old Alterac Valley from Vanilla WOW. That was a huge 40 v 40 map with lots of PVE objectives. That would be awesome.

I use space on rails to push me that final amount that I need to lvl sometimes. It is a nice break and gives good exp fast. I think one thing that hurts that is how hard/expensive it is to get the ship parts for the lvl 55-55 space missions.

  6. Why not take it all the way and disallow any guild from winning once they've won until all other guilds (with guild ships) have one at least once?

Not really sure the problem with a guild going after a planet more than once in a row if you have all planets at once would give more diversity any more than that is punishing the larger guilds( bigger perce take of players) caus ethe s,all guys can't get everything. Maybe I am not sympathetic cause my guild grivance has been atleast in top 10 every week since the first week.

  7. Should probably become a sticky.

That way, whenever people cry foul over the fact they can't read, they can always post in the same thread I guess. Same with people who buy 4 hypercrates, open them and then complain they didn't get a Rancor.

You expect people who can't read a few number on the GTN to read a sticky page and post in there? You sir think more highly of people than I do.

  8. He filled the whole site with 1 or 5 Of this item at the same price, if not the stacks of 5 i would have spent all my money on it. And well after a short message he denied it was a mistake... he also has more offers than this one with other items.

Not sure why you would argue if he scammed you or not. You messed up and you bite the bullet that simple. People put things on there in hopes of people making a mistake but it is not a scam since you are the only one capable of making the mistake.( it is not possible to scam on GTN only take advantage of other people's ignorance)

  9. I done some digging around on the forums and internet this is the closest I got as proof that he dont die for all those you think he is

    Email response from Drew Karpyshyn:

I don't want to spoil too much about Revan in the game, but I'll try to answer your questions. Revan's lines were really just an homage to Darth Malak's quote from KOTOR, though it's easy to imagine he had been a little corrupted after 300 years battling the Emperor's evil.

As for Revan's final fate, you never actually see him die. He just sort of disappears, so we left the door open just a little bit in case we want to ever bring him back.

my source :http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=73491&page=2 2nd to last comment 1st page closest I got

Plus that with the evidence you see in game

When you fight him on the foundry he has a certain percentage of health left, he will bubble himself in the force and vanish

im only posting this btw because after playing this game since pretty much the start its grown tiresome logging onto my imp alts on The Red Eclipse and people keep saying "i killed Revan" "Revan is dead" etc no doubt some of you have herd it.

So for those of you who think his dead ....Get it into your heads his not and the doors been left open for him to come back when required you got ingame and out of game proof now sush plz and have a more entertaining Gen chat

Leaving the door open does not say 100% fact he is alive. Also since u don't get sarcasm people who say they killed revan are just messing around that is like me saying I killed the emperor.

  10. I am a fan of GSF, but lets not call it the forgotten part of the game.

Ops needs more Ops, its going to be 14-16 months or more from our last new Op to the next one.

FPs need more non-tacticals or at least some hard modes.

More companions, or especially more story for existing companions.

I want a new companion( like treek and HK) that wield lightsabers cause half the classes in the game dont get a lightsaber/force user comp.

I don't normally pvp but can't ever go wrong with new GSF and pvp maps

Can't go wrong with new ships/ship rolls for GSF( or PVE GSF)

We just got a new tactical in manan will probs get another when forged alliances part 3 comes out. But would be niece to see something besides KDY while lvling pre 55 in the form of tactical also some new FPs in general would be nice.

We will probs get a new op when the next expansion comes out

  11. Always needers are scummy loot whores. End of story.

Now if I want something I roll need, elsewise its Greed or Pass.

For Decorations If I don't have it ill roll Need, if I do then its a Greed or (in Guild groups) Pass.

I have morals & a code I try & stick to, unlike many other MMO players. Occasionally I've made a mistake (we all misclick sometimes when were tired), but I always point it out first if I notice.

I wish others were more like me tbh. Time to go polish the Halo.

I roll need for equipment that I do need or if it is adaptive and I want it, for decorations I roll need on ones that I don't have solely cause everyone else rolls need.

  12. I understand that orange gear in this game is "custom", and scales with the mods put in place with it. I got an orange reward from a quest and I want to compare it to the orange armor I'm already wearing, but the reward is unmodified and the one I'm wearing has mods, so the reward obviously looks inferior.

My question is, is there any way to compare these two items "base stats", without dropping the creds to rip out the mods I already have in my equipped armor piece? Thanks.

If it has no mods in it it is in its very bare bones form if you take out the mods from the one you have and put it in the other it will have the exact same stats, all orange gear stats are the same as the mods in it( the amount og armor changes for class heavy, medium, and light but that is about it)
