I would be careful what you delete...
I did the same thing, and now can not access some items from my Collections (items from Cartel Market) because the character that I unlocked them on has been deleted.. so only way I can access the item is by using 250cc on each item.
sucks.

Ive returned to playing some swtor on a casual basis.. i only get to play a bit on weekends and maybe 2 nights a week..
I got a few characters, nothing at 60 (50 was max when i stopped)... I am looking for a guild with mainly Australia time zone players that have some active low level characters.. whether they are alts or not...
I've got a 50, but mainly play my 20 - 30 characters

On The Harbinger.
Ended up creating a marauder and queue times havent been bad. Unfortunately, healers havent been the best and tanks not much better and as soon as one has a sad pants and leaves, the queue sucks.
Might re-roll a jugg tank or operative healer.
Need to convince at least one if my RL mates to return also and level with me I think
Gets quite boring solo'ing everything. I do love the storylines, but they finish at 50, dont they?

Just started a Sith Juggernaut, Discipline path as Immortal (tank). (only level 10 atm haha)
I have not played in years, so thought I would ask the question, as google has given me some conflicting answers.
What Crew Skills are best suited to Jugg tank? Biochem used to be good for reusables, is this still the case? if not, what should i go?

So, if I'm not in a guild.. Not much point playing this game if I'm an aussie that likes PvE flashpoints etc...
Unless I roll a tank or healer or join some guild that may or may not do those things?
[Edit] does the storyline at least continue from 50 upwards?

Yes and all the end game players seem to just sit around and chat so forget about trying to get flashpoints to pop or find ops to pug.
If you want the above you need to play during NA times or join a large APAC guild that will be running during APAC times.
APAC time is quite atrocious for public group content compared to how it was back when Dalborra merged into Harbinger.
Ugh..... Doesnt sound overly appealing.

i do not know about any 7 day free thing, but i havent played for over a year... i saw the email with the black and purple crystal and it was enough for me to think it would look like a sweet light saber.. so i came back, bought the expansion and it gave me 60 days subscription.. ive also signed up for a subscription.. hoping by buying the expansion did not stop me from getting the crystal, since it has not arrived in my mail box.

Not at all, most free to play mmos don't restrict lvling zone and cap to only subcribers like LOTRO, EQ, etc.
If Bioware had made Makeb (non-restrictive) to players both Subs and F2P it would have been better all round desition.

free to play people who complain about getting to play a game with a subscription for free.. are just fkwits... go play mine sweeper..

Back pedalling with keys can be a pain during fights I reckon? but with the global cool down you should be able to mouse click everything you need to in time anyway.... maybe you can map interrupt and defensive cool downs? not sure... either way, those 2 things will be less effective after the merge anyway

Hope you find a game that is perfect for you... tough call though, unless you develop your own. I've always found something I don't like about games :\
Not sure what you expect from an MMO.. but.. grinding is a time sink.. i think its all part and parcel.. if this is an issue if yours I probably wouldn't bother with any more MMOs, but that's cool.. plenty of other types of games for you, its just its style..
About the abilities, you are not forced to use every single ability.. just ignore the ones you feel are unnecessary or too similiar. If they end up being necessary, move them back in.. if you are using them all.. they are obviously needed. What's exciting about playing a game that has 1 dps button, 1 heal button and one taunt button?
Load times are a pain in the back side... i do have a decent PC.. 16gb ram etc.. and the load times suck.
size of maps? dunno what to say about this as it hasn't been an issue for me.. empty or not.. i would prefer to see more players out in the content.. but whatevs..
The game is full of bugs... so many.. so so many.. i haven't noticed anything wrong with my graphics though... because im not using nVidia maybe?

APAC stands for ASIA PACIFIC, not AUSTRALIA. Seeing as how most if not all ASIA PACIFIC countries (excepting australia) will get significantly better ping AND a better multiplayer experience as a result of this move, can you blame us for being behind this decision? There's more than australia in the asia pacific guys.
but you've always had the option to roll on a better ping server... ??? Aussies are getting their ONLY option for decent ping taken away..

Did you solo the bosses that dropped the scattergun and tanking legs? I'm betting you didn't. If you didn't, then everyone who participated in the fight has the right to roll on the loot dropped.
Every player in the group is an "actual real person" and a player's companions are an integral part of the game and as important as their character. When you're not in a group, do you play without your companion or do you use your companion for extra DPS, tanking or heals?
Did your companion participate in the boss fight?? if not.. ****.

Any idea whats the go if you already have a Legacy created on The Harbinger but have one on Dalborra also?
Do the Dalborra ones simply join The Harbinger one?
On a side note... every single character name of my Dalborra characters are all taken... devo..
Been on there trying to find some names i like that are vacant, zero chance so far... not happy... if i dont like the way my guy looks, name included, i find i lose interest pretty quick

So, I just went and checked and NONE of my character names are available....
I have only returned to SWTOR, and even got the 6 month subscription... i wonder if i can get a refund and cancel my subscription now?
I dont want to play on an American server.. and i cbf trying to think up all new names...

I stopped playing quite some time ago... got a few toons to around 30,, and just played with different RL people i know.
I am currently bored with all my other games and decided to load up this game for another look... but might get bored solo'ing content..
Is there a particular server that Australians are playing on ? Do you think the general population are social enough in this game? Is this game entertaining enough to play solo while leveling?
Preferably I would rather level with someone all the way.. but cant seem to get any of my RL friends to come play
Is it worth returning?

Doubt anyone important will even pay attention to this post.. though I am agitated enough to post it regardless.
I am Australian, and I work for a living.
Like most, gaming is my hobby... it is what I do to unwind from work and real life dramas...
I get home around 5:30pm and it feels like more often then not, there is an outage right when I get home.
I am not against so many outages to get issues fixed, I would just like the times modified if possible...
fingers crossed the times can be revisited... (hope this was on topic)
Outage A : 10PM AEST -> 3AM AEST
Outage B: 3AM AEST -> 6AM AEST
Outage C: 6AM AEST -> 11AM AEST
seems better...
Even 6 - 11am is not peak time... (for the majority)

I am in the same boat..
AM Imperial on Satele Shan (created a Repub on SF, but havent played it)..
I joined a guild, but as I am leveling a new character (35 atm), they dont do much, and are mainly American..
Good to get the 13% bonus xp, but kind of boring.
