Anyone know a good place to leave feedback on the event? By and large I'm happy with most of the details, but there are a couple of points I'd like to give my mind on.
This very thread? I doubt they're reading every post, but they have responded to several already.

As things stand you can't combine pieces from more than one toon to complete an unlock for collections.
It is, arguably, the single biggest flaw with the whole event, and is a flaw that any "real gamer" would have spotted at the drawing-board stage.
All The Best
As you said it's the biggest flaw in the event; the DvL blog shows that they're aware of it and - possibly - going to change something to fix it (I can't see what though). The reason the items are BoP are:
1. they don't want to have rewards BoE (for the reasons given above - massive trade exploits)
2. BoL items CANNOT be in Collections.
Not really sure what they can do to address this; the easiest solution would be to make the rewards BoL but that introduces new problems.

The ones from completing all the datacrons looks like this:

The drops are just single datacrons.
oh right, cheers - never noticed that existed.

Do they actually unlock decos? I thought those were just random drops.

It's also not actually the subscriber gift for this month (which was the HK jetpack) - it's a separate thing that requires the additional step of opting in to the emails.

Add in that the two side thrusters (the ones that are on in all the advertisements) don't fire off until you do the flourish (ctrl-z). Once you do that, they stay on until you dismount, so its not a "flourish" like the rest of the speeders.
Also I totally didn't know that there was a flourish for this mount either (I also missed it for the original monocycle and didn't realise till I saw the reskinned version had one), so thanks for mentioning that.

There are other mounts where the flourish is used as a toggle (e.g. Minas Hornet)

If a GM or officer feels they need a spy character, there's probably larger issues at play and it is time to just clean house in a bigger way!
I can't imagine why a spy character would ever be necessary, personally.

yep, that'd work.
Actually, on testing, this is actually the problem, not the solution. The furthest turn angle for the monocycle is not that great - and it is the same angle that mount uses for strafing sideways (in other words, hard turn and strafe is the same animation). The jetpacks are following the same rules.
The solution would be to keep the current extreme for strafing, but reduce it to about half what it currently is when only turning.
-
Bump,
The lean angle on the Koensayr Revolution is perfect. Give the Jetpack the same lean angle and we're good.
Nuff said
yep, that'd work.

The turn animation thing applies to the older jetpacks and also the rocket boost legacy perk, for what it's worth. It's always bugged me.

Did they say for sure that you only had to opt-in to SWTOR emails, not the other two? It just says "emails" in the livestream summary.
nvm, I found the specific comment.

it needs to be slid as far down the wall as possible to work reliably.
Even that doesn't necessarily help! On the Yavin SH, at least, it's still quite possible to be close enough to open the inventory but not the GTN window, even when it's as low as possible.
-
I was coming to post exactly this - it only half-works if you're slightly too far away, which took me ages to figure out. Best thing is to stand directly under it. I don't think the kiosks have the same problem, oddly.

For certain companions, grinding heroics along with the conversations during the acquisition and turn-in of the quests was the best way to max affection. Unfortunately, they removed all of those interactions in 4.0. Another side effect rears its ugly head.
Technically they only removed the turn-in conversation on most of the heroics; you can find (most) of the original quest-givers and do it that way for extra affection. Also there are some heroics where you can get 'greatly approves' results during the quest itself*, although I forget how much more those are worth.
* well, I know there's at least one with Khem on Nar Shadda - the one with the prisoner who starts using the force (spoiler: Khem thinks it's great if you call him a fool and kill him). I think there are others, but I don't recall what they might be off the top of my head.

I, too, had a really long delay in getting a ticket response, also almost 4 weeks - but it did get answered in the end, and they apologised for the delay (apparently the 4.0 release has caused a massive backlog in support requests).
A delay is probably a good sign - it means that someone is actually looking in to your ticket, and hopefully isn't just going to send you a form letter response.

I believe this is actually a change to the way slicing (and other gathering skills) works - from the patch notes for 4.0:
* Harvesting Nodes grant different amounts of materials based on the player’s skill level. Players that are below the skill level of the node will receive fewer materials, and those higher than the node will receive more.
Presumably you're slicing a node that is below the skill level required; I seem to usually get two cases in that case. If I slice a higher-level node, I often only get one case.

Just confirming that I had the same issue with the same hook (only in my case it was the wrecked Republic ATV). 0/1 available, haven't relogged to see if it's reappeared as placeable yet.

I hope it's fireworks!

"Helping others is both a duty and an honor."
Move camera.
"Helping others is both a duty and an honor."
Move camera.
"Helping others is both a d...."
Yes yes I get it, helping others is both a duty and an honor.
This. Exactly this.

I'm nearly at a fortnight with no response to my ticket; I feel your pain.

i actually want a regen item of the stationary log mount with that exact pose. You make speeder noises and "turn" by leaning side to side over the course of the regen. I buy plenty of hypercrates, i could possibly go broke trying to gain this.
that would be the best. I doubt I'd ever use anything else.

BioWare is not going to 'respond' because nobody has actually proved that it's happening.
People complain on forums over nonexistent things just to try to get their way (just look at all the thread bemoaning 12x XP right now), you know that, I know that, the devs know that. So just saying that this is happening accomplishes nothing unless you can show that it actually IS happening.
Again, you are dismissing the experiences of everyone who has posted - in effect, you are calling me and everyone else who has posted liars. This - "I haven't seen the problem so it doesn't exist!" is one of the two least helpful and pointless responses that are invariably made in these threads (the other is, of course, "I am such a Great Player that it is not actually a problem, everybody look at me LOOOK AT MEEEEE"). You are not contributing any helpful information, and seem to be treating the thread as merely an excuse to indirectly insult people.
I can assure you that I am not "trying to get my way" by reporting "nonexistent things" - perhaps you should extend people the tiny amount of courtesy of not outright dismissing their claims? I don't see what you would lose from being slightly more polite!
