  1. That would be awesome Yallia, the more the merrier. I just figured this way both factions would be aware that there is a set time when people will be reliably queuing. Unfortunately, our small community on Pot5 tends to mean "prime time" is a pretty narrow window.
  2. Will you be organizing both factions?

Wasn't planning on it initially. Like I said this is mainly a guild thing, but I just figured since queues can be abysmal on Pot5 I would put it out there here in hopes of speeding up the pops. Depending on the mood of the server we may switch to imperial toons so rookies can get a taste of winning for a change.

  3. Just an FYI for Pot5 pilots looking for queues. At the request of my guild's leadership, I will be organizing a regular GSF night for our guild on Monday evenings starting around 9 p.m. EST. First night is looking like February 3rd. This will likely be a combination of veterans and rookies, so don't be wary of the "OP premade night". So if you're looking for some regular queues, feel free to jump in and kill/be killed!

  4. So your rebuttal is "sorta maybe sometime between now and launch"? Yes in a perfect world i'd love to do it your way, but GSF isn't PvE or ground PvP where everyone is playing it. There are a limited number of pilots flying as is, let alone PTS pilots, and I'd like to get a chance to test this out with multiple matches. Yes, I'd love to run the PTS everyday but I have a job and a life and ships to level on my Main. The last thing any of us wants is another Bomber/TDM PTS release that has a "game breaking" bug to discover after an hour and a half queue, and no one touches the PTS again. The purpose of this post was to let the GSF forum community know there will be other testers on at a specific time. To be honest, I'm hoping we can do a Saturday 2 p.m. test every weekend from now until launch. If an afternoon run doesn't work for you, then schedule a 2nd run through. I'm sure there's plenty of people who want in but can't make a Saturday afternoon run, just as I'm sure there are people who will attend multiple testing sessions.
  5. You say this.... And you probably have some basis for the statement...

Make a toon get destroyed and still love it. The desire for community is so nice youll see Lyte chase a gunship for the whole match and come in low on the charts. Why is this good? Because both pilots loved the match.

This, I sucked wind for the first week and a half until i changed my mouse settings. Even still I kept plugging along because it was a great time. Also I wish you got some sort of credit for this, I can't tell you the number of times I've spent the whole match ducking and diving underneath an opposing satellite while being chased, dedicating 2 or 3 of the imps to controlling the cap, and get no credit for it.

  6. It's a good idea Kegger, but with at least 4 groups already working in concert (that I know of) through 3rd party voice comms, I think may only serve to make those game where those group come up against a PUG even more lopsided.

I'm with Kegger on this one... NotThatOne... Focus target and target of target are essential tools for any raid group. I feel they are just as applicable in space as they are on the ground. I'd argue just the opposite of your "disadvantage for PUGs" argument. In a situation where you're facing a totally pre-made lobby, the ability to find a wing-man and address the same goal is the only defense against a team with voice chat.

  7. Barter here and looking to fly with a regular crew. I've flown with you guys from Black Squadron, and a couple other premades. Love to see real teamwork and coordination on the battlefield. Have a few guys from my guild that fly a little bit, but don't have the love for it I do. Always looking for a wing-man or three, so if you see me out there running loops on a satellite feel free to send me a whisper and watch me fail against the Wall Boss!
  8. I managed to get to the server select screen before being but into 20th place in the server que with a 10 minute wait, after 15 minutes I had a 20 minute wait time and was 100 in line, then the game crashed. Have guildmates in game though
