  1. Yep lotro has sales all the time due to the time of year holidays in the real world as well as holidays in Tolkien's world, plus I think they lowered the sub to 9.95 not sure if that is all the time or special offer, but incentives go along way and make boat loads of money by volume kinda like the walmart philosphy of volume sales..:)

    i agree

  2. Im currently Dark V. I haven't come across any piece of equipment at end game which can only be used by Dark V players. The story has had no affect on my character end game either.

There should be dark side and light side abilities. Maybe one for each rank. This will further increase uniqueness with players.

agreed! i would love to see this implemented

  3. i was gone for 5 months came back about a month ago to date and i'm loving it as well! i have 4 of my irl friends now playing with me and i'm having the time of my life... the game is great and i wont lie i play too much (sometimes WAY too much) but i cant get enough! glad to see im not the only one
  4. You aren't getting it. You can buy the training at any level but you can't use it until 25. The training in the store specifically states can't use until 25. And they were right about that part, I could not use it until 25 then it turned white and let me use it.

I have Speeder 2 training in my abilities (Pilot training Rank 2) The Level 2 speeders are white on the vendor (meaning I can use them). To be sure I filtered by usable and sure enough the level 2 speeders were there.

I bought the speeder, try to add it to my vehicles and it says..sorry nope, wrong level.

The bug is in the speeders not the training.

So they have 2 bugs for one item and they are on vacation after just releasing a massive patch.

I can see NOTHING changed here. Not a MFing thing.

They are going under and even a 5 year old can see why.

they are far from going under, a quick peak at your recent posts leads me to believe no matter what happens you will always complain about it..... its not the companies hurting the game, its people whining and complaining 24/7 like you that hurt the game

  5. Unfreaking believable.

First they mislabel the Speeder 2 Cartel Store purchase saying it unlocks it for all characters on account. I buy it. A day later they put out a "Sorry, our bad, that is mislabeled and it only works for the one character...to bad we got your money and we aren't going to compensate you".

So fine, I deal with terrible customer service and as usual horrible Dev bug tracking and activate the Speeder 2 training at level 25 on my currently main toon. Go to the speeder vendor, pony up the credits...go to use new speeder..."Sorry, wrong level".

    A double FU from Bioware.

And to top it all off they release this bug filled POS the week before Thanksgiving and then all leave. Sorry no patches any time soon...suckers!

I came back on Nov 16th and subscribed one last time. I gave Bioware one last chance to hook me in. I am the prime subscriber you are targeting. Plenty of cash to subscribe and make regular coin purchases. Well thats done.

Bioware took my money, told me to get bent and is laughing as they head off for a vacation week.

Well FU too...I hope the unemployment line treats you half as nice as you treat customers.

you're making this a much bigger deal than it truly is...... mistakes happen, you lost a frankly rather small amount of cartel coins... just simmer down

  6. i couldnt find the link, but i read in the last week or so that they have intentions on bringing the server transfer ability back to life in the near future, posts like this can hopefully help them see transfers are in high demand, best of luck
  7. I would love to see a sort of "High-Scores" system implemented into the game, it would be a neat feature to be able to look up people on your server and see their level, class, skill tree, and then also stats such as their valor ranking, and amount of pvp games played, players killed, medals earned, such as you can see for your self.. I think a system like this would be a great source for competition, and who dosnt love competition? It would be a fun drive for players to participate in more activities such as these...

More idea would be things such as flashpoint statistics, such as how many times you've completed certain flashpoints..

Also in pvp servers it would be cool to see your KDR

I'd love to hear more suggestions and comments thanks!

  8. $15/mo for unlimited playtime, no restrictions is expensive? Anyone who thinks $15/mo is steep needs to log off, sell their computer and rework their finances. How many people shell out $40-$60 for a console game they beat in a month? How many people have an adult website membership for a fee? How many people eat out, but designer clothing, etc?

This is not an issue of SWTOR being expensive or not, it's an issue of people wanting something for nothing.

I personally think $15/mo is fine given the fact you have no restrictions (compared to F2P).

those things are drastically different, a console game often has online play that is unlimited anyways, just hard to compare those

  9. I would remove the subscription option and make this game entirely F2P.

    1. i don't want a gimped gaming experience if I spend more than $15/month on cartel coins

    2. I'd rather spend that $15/month sub fee on cartel coins ($15 gets you 1500 CC vs the 500 CC sub stipend)

    3. The play-when-you-want and pay-when-you-want of a purely F2P game is more appealing to me

    4. You won't have a divided player base (no sub vs f2p player bull)

This isn't any of that fanboy comment bull.

i like this, i do really dislike the division

  10. Too bad Bioware doesn't offer an option that allows people to play for free. If they did people could drop their subs whenever they felt they needed a few extra bucks for a month or two, or however long they felt it necessary and still play the game with some basic restrictions.

i sense a bit of sarcasm here?

  11. Don't know why people are being so negative in this thread - I guess they are insecure. This game brings up very mature situations and how you're character reacts can mirror real life situations. I guess it hasn't changed my behaviour, but many things in politics and life can be related to some of the missions in this game.

i agree many harsh comments, it was supposed to be a sort of fun question i would assume, obviously its not going to make you become a different person... but the things that go on may influence you in some way or another

  12. I usually try to be pretty charming aka nice in real life. But on occasion...when people are less than co-operative...my inner sith lord has been known to assert herself. And in those times when I need to be more assertive, I imagine making my entrance into the room with the Imperial march playing in my head.

I'm probably crazy, but you've nothing to worry about so long as you don't p*ss me off. :D

    i love this haha :)

  13. yes free to play has become a huge thing, they kind of draw you in with the game being technically free to play, and then make all of there money by all of the add-ons you can buy, or the ability to buy in game currency, not a bad idea if you ask me, its a lot easier to spend money when you are addicted to a game, and its a lot easier to start playing a game when it is free
