  1. Oh no!! My toon can't swim? Seriously, that's a important issue?

Next you're gonna complain your toon can't "pop-a-squat."

This debate is getting old. Just like the turkey on rye in my fridge!

You know what swimming in WoW and GW2 entails? ENTIRELY NEW ZONES

I'm sure if SWTOR didn't have jumping you would valiantly defend it, of course, because you don't want a fun MMO, you want a WoW killer. You want to be part of the next big thing and the fact that it's painfully clear that legions of people are repulsed by SWTOR is driving you crazy

  2. No LFG system, never used it in wow and don't see the point for it here.

Broken auction house. Yep, it isn't great but it also isn't set in stone. they will improve it.

Broken PVP planet, Broken? The planet work fine just because you're not able to make use of player created content.

Combat Delay, yep sucks again will be fixed. Was/is wow bugless? I bet there are still some launch bugs there that have never been fixed!

No high res textures. Doesn't bother me, the fun is in the game not looking at it.

No AA, coming in 1.1? can be forced by drivers...

No day night cycle. Really? People care about that?

No swimming. really? People care about that?

    Oh I love these excuses

Funny how the excuses shifted from "BUT ITS BETA" to "BUT THEY'LL PATCH IT"

Isn't it funny how that works out?

  3. That's the most idiotic thing I've every read including your other post(which aren't far behind). It's more like WoW is a building from the '70's and while it's fully decorated it has cracks in the foundation with bad drafts. On the other hand SWTOR is new and solid just waiting to hang some pictures on the walls and furniture to be delivered.

WoW might have a long list of 'raid' content only a hand full of them is end game raid content? Is molten core still "end game" content?

Oh yeah! SWTOR really pushes the envelope!

    No LFG system

    Broken auction house

    Broken PVP planet

    Combat delay

    No high res textures

    No AA

    No day night cycle

    No swimming

Can i ask you an honest question? How many times are you people gonna keep falling for the hype until you realize that no one can out-WoW WoW?

  4. So every MMO that comes out from this point going forward needs the initial game, plus 3 expansions worth of content AND they should be working on the next expansion before they release?

    Yes

The same reason a new car company can't make a 1970s quality car and expect it to be profitable

  5. Why? Is SWTOR supposed to be on expansion #3? I get that people want a bug free, polished game and I do hope that BW gets on that. However, comparing content in WoW now to SWTOR now is idiotic.

    Doesn't matter

The fact of the matter is you have Unpolished MMO with not a lot of content VS Massive polished MMO with tons of content

    Guess which will win

  6. I agree. Not the mention the amateur design direction

Ilum is broken, and even if they fix it most 50s are in full pvp gear because of it

The planets don't encourage exploration (And before you mention it, holocrons don't interest me)

The instances are uninspired. Bioware talked all kinds of trash about OMG WERE ADDING GROUP DIALOG, turns out half the instances are WoWclone dungeon crawlers with no dialog

No reason to leave the space station at 50

    No day/night cycles (Seriously, bioware, it's 2012)

    No swimming

They didn't even have the foresight to add AA and High res textures.

I honestly don't know what people expected from EA, however. EVERY SINGLE ONE of their MMORPG ventures have been a bust, and from the past month alone, EA stock has dropped from 25 to 18. SWTOR will be another failed WoW killer in the long list of failed WoW killers.

The only advantage SWTOR has over the MMO market is the fact that competition is dry right now. SWTOR is bleeding subs and they haven't even had to COMPETE with anything yet. Ouch
