well you shouldnt have more then 80-85% surge as a dps trooper anyway so with the nerf of 10% taking us down to 70-75% then addinind dr around the same mark...no current gear chaning should be needed....coz after that u stack power anyway
without combat logs pretty hard to tell ofcourse
and a little fyi man just about every dps class (and some healers) rely on surge....if it effects pretty much everyone its not that big a deal....
im guessing this was to bring dot spec dps class closer to non dot spec dps....
which is fair enuff imo

Make haste effect dots/hots. Surge is the only thing reasonable players stack ..cuz haste is just a useless stat.
would be a good idea...unfortunaly dosnt effect other classes as much...too much alacrity is already a bad thing on some classes

Damage yes... Threat no. Threat meter takes away the skill.
The game is already easy enough.
i lol'd....how is it skill not to over threat?....you know what damage you have done but no way u can tell how much threat the tank has done...skill...lol

what I find funny as hell is a BH/TP either one can out DPS a sniper?
playing a sniper since day one I watch BH/TP hit over 3k each 1.5 sec's
and then heal them selfs lol....
plus their gear gives them a 5% plus to pvp damage....
grav/tracer spam
oh did I forget that all of the sniper gear is crit and surg based almost....
this effect will make me play a diffrent class or just find a new game why should I have to pay a broken game or wait 4 to 6 months for some sniper love from the dev's

gunslinger/sniper are the best pve dps...this nerf will effect the top 3 specs aswell...so dont go crying that its a sniper/gunslinger nerf

Could simply move chests to near the non-faction hostile mobs on the planet. Boom, lowbies can't get to them.
i saw this level 12 guy who was republic standing next to a mob (like LITERALLY next to it) that was red to me (im republic aswell)...he looted the chest then ran off faster then my speeder goes....
more hacks in this game then just speed hack....BW dont seem to have the experience to combat these things (or the inclination...they are owned by EA afterall) so i dont see this changing....
atleast its not game breaking

Yes? But they still live. You are ok with them beeing unkillable, as long as they run away and come back with full hp?
if it reults in capping/defending a point...hell yer man....its not all about who heals or does the most dps...its about who does each effectivly

Spring every 20 seconds.
Its easier to kill a bounty hunter or commando medic then to kill a sorc. By miles.
A well played sorc you wont kill, simple as that, the tools they have to get out fo a tricky situation no other healer comes close to. Unless you vanish as a sawbone and is unable to give or recieve heals for 10 seconds...awsome, especially since you are destealthed within the first 3 seconds.

you dont need to KILL or chase down a sorc....just do enough damage that they run away....then switch...yes they come back but could be too late....dunno man...even when im dps spec i have no trouble whatsoever with sorcs....guess it comes down to playstyle
edit: sounds like your just letting off steam so ill just agree with you and we cen be like best buds or somethen

beleive it or not...sorcs arnt as powerful as people think mate.....yes they have an awesome aoe heal (15 sec cd) but they are pretty squishy (compared to troopers/BH anyway) and need to sprint away when it gets to hot for em.....
i suppose u could say they are the glass cannons of healers
..... a good played sorc is hard to kill ofcourse...but most stand out in the middle and get smashed -
yer....u could accidentally do it....but if u knew how to do it youd understand that it happening more then once in a blue moon it would be intentional

Its only an exploit if it fits certain criteria, and BW will announce it as such. If they do term it an exploit you will be at risk of being banned for using it.
BW have not announced it is an exploit. To this end, your classification of this is null and void. However feel free to "exploit" the use of this "bug".
the explanation i sent you.....seems pretty obvious its exploiting a bug then...hence...exploit
jump off shuttle was exploiting a bugged invis wall....all same things and all should be bannable

There's nothing moronic about that reply tbh.
Its not an exploit, its a bug in the system where players who were grouped before the WZ invite join, but the leader doesn't, so the game assumes none of that team joined and invites more.

i have done it (when someone told me about it) and sure enough it works....
yes in the past there have been games where it just happened...but since 1.1.2 something happened (possibly abit earlier) and can now be done on purpose

Game is bugged in more ways than that, bioware is slow/inept at fixing bugs.

theres a difference between a bug and an exploit...im obviously not going to post HOW to do it but theres a way you can get anywhere from 10+ people into 1 warzone game ending it within 2 mins and pretty much guarentee yourself a quick victory (unless u stuff it up...coz 1 team came against us and did

i sent in a ticket on this bug of how it is done quite a few days ago...got the usual moronic "plz look out for future patchnotes" responce....
3 out of the 5 games ive played tonight people have used it.....
has anyone seen any responce on this issue or are they just closing threads as usual and pretending it dosnt exist?

i had a healing competition with a sawbones....we both got over 475k in a voidstar match....maybe dont stand out in the middle waving a flag asking to get smashed?

the amount of 500k+ heals ive had in voidstar and no votes makes me want to cry...but u OP just made me feel a little better

Yep. His server as Republic is better than Empire.
The Swiftsure is damn near the same but more balanced in factions. If Republic wants, they can roll us at anytime and us the same.
Towelliee streams to a high amount and attracts people on his server as does Pokket for Swiftsure.
swiftsure is nearly 2-1 in favour of empire

I don't really care about pvp and unsubbed for other reasons, but I can understand those that think this is a big deal. When you have 100s of hours invested into something and they make that investment meaningless then ofc it matters.
someone who understands...i dont think people realise HOW long it takes to get to battlemaster...was a mind numbingly boring graind.....and for people to do it within 12 hours is just a joke and a slap in the face to people who made battlemaster BM

too early to tell for me..queues are fast...but the ability delay and the "false" cast that commando's have is even worse...add to that the imbalance of empire vs republic...
pretty horrible....
REALLY wished they actually fixed bugs/problems before adding new content...gonna lose alot of subs over this debarcle

already cancelled today....maybe bioware should of started on a lowgrade IP instead of a starwars one....too big for their lack of experience

you forgot massive ability lag in wz....previous spells that would "false" cast now happen more and more often and you get that loading screen always at the wrong time.....
id say BW heads should roll but they already knew this would happen so they dont care
