I've thought about this before, but always about the usefulness of putting it in Flash points or Operations. I've always thought that players who are new to content or are maybe struggling through certain areas could use it as a training tool. It may have to be restricted to guildmates or something, but you could pull up a view cam on someone in their guild running that content and watch what they do. Think of it like athletes watching game footage to learn tactics, only in real time.

Only thing though, is your "Skill Tree and Gearing" section seems to be lacking in the whole "gearing" portion. Was there supposed to be more to that that got left out, or if not, do you possibly have any insights into stat allocations for the PVE-centric Sharpshooters out there?

I agree. If they didn't want LVL55 players to do the classic ops, they shouldn't have made a weekly that gives Ultimate Comms as a reward for doing them!

 

I really want to knock out a few Classics, but it's almost impossible to put a group together for it.

You should already be able to separate your stacks.

Hold the Shift key when you left click on a stack and it will bring up a slider allowing you to choose how many items to pull off of the current stack.

I don't believe there is currently dual spec in swtor.

 

I'm pretty sure that with my Shadow, I can re-spec from DPS to Tank. Isn't that the Dual-spec that OP is talking about. I agree it would be very nice if those abilities from my DPS tree would remain, just unusable if I switch to Tank to help out if there is a missing tank. Then when I switch back to DPS for my normal Op group, those abilities are still there and I don't have hunt back through my abilities sheet to put them back on my toolbar.

 

This would also be extremely helpful for those instances when you skill tree gets refunded.

Is there any progress to report on getting something along these lines implemented? Your last input on this was in May of last year and it sounded like it was something that you also thought made a lot of sense.

 

I've gotten a new pc since I first started following this thread, so now it doesn't take me nearly as long to log between toons. But I'm sure there are still tons of people out there where logging between toons is a painfully long task. Especially if you're not exactly sure which one happens to be storing exactly what you're looking for.

Thank you for pointing me to that thread. I did a search for "mission offer", as it's labled in the game, and found no results. Hopefully the developers will take notice.

I think it would be very helpful if the in map mission offer triangle were different colors for Class / Heroic / Flashpoint mission offerings.

It could be just my newness to the game, but I find that I really want to make sure I do all of the missions on each planet and it can get confusing (and waste time) when I see a mission offer across the map for it to only end up being a Heroic that I have already completed.
