Quick update. For my second Inquisitor (Assassin ) the Ticket took 4 days to be resolved!

Well for one, trying to play while downloading the rest of the game is going to definitely cause lag issues. I suggest waiting until the entire game is down loaded.

So what are 'adds'? I see this a lot when people talk about endgame PVE stuff.

Just had a live chat with a CSR. Had to log off my character while he awards my Kallig items. So when I log back in I will have my awesome items!
Took about two weeks from time I submitted ticket.

Well add 1+ to the list. I just logged off after talking to a live CSR. Apparently for some reason they can't award a character the items while you are logged in. So when I log back on I'll have my mask and light saber!

I got my mask and lightsaber today. Took 11 days for a response to my ticket.
Good to know. Still waiting on my ticket. But you now confirm that the one guy was not a fluke.

Why this isn't already in the game I have no idea. But crafted items should stack upon creation. Your inventory fills up really quick when you are grinding out components. Making them non-stackable once separated is fine but at least have them stack as they are created.

Just want to say hello. I am a new player that caught the SW bug after watching SW:TFA. I played through KOTOR 1&2 again and then jumped on the Amazon bundle for this.
I played Galaxies on Shadowfire and lived through all the changes until I finally had to walk away after the NGE.
I currently have two Inquisitors and will be starting an Agent and probably a BH as well.
My main is currently SlickSix after I was forced to change his name from SickSix. (Still a bit mad about that). But my second Inquisitor is Draconyr and will be changing my mains name to something similar. I think all my characters will be a variation of Dracon.
So just want to say Hi and maybe make some friends that could help me on some of the flashpoints and heroics.

I am just getting into Artifice. But what sold me on it for my main is that it only needs 2 gathering skills. Synthweave needs 3.

Thank goodness its a bug. What a ludicrous idea to do such a long quest spefically to get certain relics amd then not get them! I will be submitting my ticket pronto as I just finished Chapter 1 last night and was super bumbed about not getting the mask or saber!

Wow thanks so much Lord Tulin and Everan! That is exactly the kind of basic info I was looking for. Right now my first character is a Lightning Sorcerer and I am just using whatever gear I pick up or get rewarded. The problem I am finding with that is I am over leveled for a lot of the quests so the rewards are often useless. It is way to easy to level up just doing story mode with a few side quests.

My First MMO was Galaxies. Loved it before Sony turned it on its head and ruined it.
I played EVE as well.
I was really really excited about the possibilities of a KOTOR 3. Instead we get this.
Was super stoked about Skyrim after playing Oblivion. Then got super stoked about the next ES game. We get ESO.
On the whole, MMOs suck and fail a lot. And now, they are killing fantastic RPG franchises. I almost wanted this and ESO to fail so that Bethesda and Bio-ware would go back to single-player RPGs.
But this game does have a good progression story and gameplay so far.
But, once again I hate MMOs when I am talking to an NPC amd then some ****** starts blasting his blaster in the NPCs face completely shattering any chance of emmersion.
I want to continue playing to finish at least 3 of the Imperial story lines. However the worst part of any MMO is the people.

Hello, new imperial player here. I am not new to MMOs but have been long out of them and only dipped my toes into this game a couple years ago before leaving it. Just couldn't get into it at the time.
Anyways I am struggling to understand a lot of things. And maybe I am way off base but most of the 'guides' I am finding seem to assume a lot of basic understanding of game mechanics. I haven't even found a simple explanation of character stats yet. And which is best for each glass. I don't trust or believe what the game tells me as usually the end gamers figure out the real significance of stats.
Also how do crafting levels break down to character level? Can you simply divide 500 by 65? And figure it out that way?
Seriously where is the SWTOR for dummies guide?

Well unless they are changing the whole system to actually make it worthwhile whats the point? Will this make lower level crafting worth the effort?

This is a very disheartening thread to read. I am just getting into the game and was looking forward to doing just what the OP wanted to do: craft for my characters and maybe make a little money on the side.
But now it seems the entire system is a waste of time.

When I first jumped in the game years ago I wanted an Agent because I loved my Rifleman/Ranger pre-CU and Spy post-CU. I hated for Jedi in Galaxies. However in this setting how could I resist the lightning of the Sith Sorcerer? So now after several years away I am working on my Sorcerer and then will create an Agent and Sith Assassin in my legacy. I also loved Darth Maul so I want that double bladed awesomeness.

From what I have surmised orange stats mean they are worse than what you had. So maybe you equipped a piece of gear that has worse stats than what you had before.
