  1. Quesh is doable solo. If you stand inside the chamber and angle your camera out the door you can click the force field button, sealing you inside the room. Then you just need a speed boost ability to move between the two pillars in the center of the room with the buttons and click the second one before the first stops beeping.

Balmorra has one that also requires you speed click two buttons if you’re solo.

Taris has one where you click a button that launches a second character up onto the pipes near the ceiling. That can’t be done solo as the pad and button are too far apart and there’s no delay after the button push. That’s just a matrix shard though I believe. Not sure it counts for the legacy datacron chart.

  2. This is not “working as intended”, as the codex tracker for Imperials includes a specific Hoth creature that Imperials don’t have access to. This has been in the game since release and brought up over the intervening decade. Both factions and individual classes have a number of impossible to find codex entries. A few of them have been corrected in patches. Plenty more have remained.

I used to keep track of the planetary codex entries and which ones were impossible to get on which class/faction before KOTFE/KOTET, but I lost interest once I realized they just weren’t going to be fixed (and 4.0 killed my interest in the game at the time).

I’m sure by this point, some of these must have been removed from the tracker or fixed, but you can see it’s an old problem that the old BioWare crew had been very slowly working on back in the day.

The linked threads only covered Planetary Codex lists up through patch 3.2 (with partial updates through 4.1).

  3. Create a support ticket in game under items/loot. Quote the section of the patch notes that addresses the fix for the titles not unlocking in collections. Identify the character or characters who unlocked the titles as proof of purchase and ask customer service to unlock them in collections for you. Worked for me.

  4. As per title. Claimed on my main (on Star Forge), used, item vanished, no sound effect of a new mission being granted, no mission in the tracker. Nothing happened.  And since you can't even buy a new unlock on an alt through the Galactic Seasons vendor until after you complete the first mission, my entire legacy is now locked out of doing the Season 5 storyline on launch.

Logging out, switching characters, checking mail for lost items. All the usual rote suggestions accomplished nothing. (I'm not reinstalling the game)

The item worked as intended on Leviathan with my placeholder character there but that is no help to my primary Star Forge legacy.

  5. I told myself that if Bioware re-released subscriber rewards they used to keep me subbing when they were releasing ZERO content, so that people who didn't support the game when things were desperate could swing by and get them at a later point, that would be it for me supporting the game through droughts.

Well, they did it, this is yet another drought, and I'm done being a reliable income source.

I now identify as a fair-weather sub. Continuous subscriber from February 2012 (minus about 1 month during a move) to now, cancelled. Let me know if you ever actually release more than 3 minutes of content for your story-based RPG, Bioware, or if you're giving out Founders medals to try and boost sub numbers on a certain date. I might re-sub for a month before vanishing again. Who cares, though, right?

  6. We're a year later and this set is STILL bugged.

You just listed it on sale, which convinced me to buy it. Foolishly, I thought you'd sell something that works as advertised. It does not. No scanning effect on the helmet faceplate as depicted in the advert image. Just a flat gray plate.

    Why?

    Keith? Eric?

Fix the helmet or change the advert, please.

EDIT: Reloading the game gets the helmet effect to function ... outside of cutscenes. So there's that, I guess.

EDIT 2: LOL. Wearing the helmet straight up works in general gameplay, but putting it into an outfit tab and then changing instances strips the graphical effect off the piece. I then have to put the physical helmet back on, which resorts the effect, and then I can switch back to the outfit tab.

  7. I got the Lightsaber to appear and unlock in collections account wide. (Rep Vendor version)

I got the Sniper Rifle to appear and unlock in collections account wide. (Rep Vendor version)

I got the Blaster Rifle to appear in collections, but the account wide unlock button doesn't work. (Rep Vendor & CM versions)

The Dualsaber & Blaster Pistol don't appear in collections. Even got CS to grant me an additional copy of the blaster since I'd used it on a Merc, but they couldn't help collections recognize it. (CM versions)

I haven't dared to use the Assault Canon. (Rep Vendor & CM versions)

It's been what? Almost 3 years now? This is never getting fixed.

  8. Scarif is a little too much like Rishi and Rakata Prime.

Jakku is very Tatooine and it wouldn't have the battlefield graveyard aspect in SWTOR time frame.

Hosnian Prime is Coruscant at night.

D'Qar is boring grass and hills.

The planet hollowed out for Starkiller Base is Alderaan mixed with Hoth. Could be OK with some new fauna.

Takadona might be good because of the forest ruins and lakes, but might feel a bit like Yavin 4.

Crait would be really cool. The unique color palette and cool fauna (crystal foxes), crimson crystal caves and the salt flats all looked great.

  9. Since 5.6, I've noticed strange behavior with random inventory items. Not all the time, but enough to be frustrating.

I mail a set of Cartel armor between alts, transfer the items from the mail to the new character's inventory ... and the items vanish from inventory. Log out, log back in and there they are in inventory again.

I transfer items from the Cargo Hold to inventory and -you guessed it- one or more items vanish. Log out, log back in and the items re-appear.

This happens with drag and drop AND right click transfer and is not the item being destroyed by drop out of inventory on ground.

In one instance (most concerning) an entire legacy set of armor I had transferred through the mail and equipped on a new character vanished after closing the character screen. Re-logging didn't restore the armor. Quitting out of the game and reloading back in didn't work either. It wasn't until logging in the next day before the armor was miraculously restored on the character.

It's like the game can no longer reliably keep track of items moved between characters.

Repair utility does nothing for it. UI reset does nothing.

There doesn't seem to be any consistency with what vanishes during transfer. Sometimes it's everything that is moved. Sometimes just one piece of several. Vehicles, armor, trash items sent as a test. Has happened on 6 separate characters (2 made after 5.6 update / 4 made years ago / all Imperial faction).

I've taken to moving items using just the Legacy hold, because the vanishing act hasn't happened with transfers to or from that hold.

  10. Eric,

Thanks for the update, but I still have one question. You are increasing the CXP for each mission in the daily areas by another 200% from original value, this is great, but it sounds like we are still not going to be able to get a "heroic" mission for these daily areas once the weekly is complete, or am I not understanding your post?

Here is an example of why this is still a nerf if that is the case:

CZ-198 has 5 daily missions at 75 and lets add 110% for the Legacy 10% and the 100% buff

CXP would be 790(158X5) and with the "heroic" mission from the GC window with the 110% buff of 2363 that is a total of 3153 which we could get every day, the weekly mission was a once a week bonus and that will not change.

Now with the CXP buff with 5.6.1 the total CXP for dailies at 473 per mission with the same 110% buff we will be getting 2365 each day we complete the daily set. This is a nerf of 788 CXP per day.

Again, I am not including the weekly as that has not changed.

^This. BW isn’t doing anyone a favor. They’ve nuked the CXP for the daily areas with 5.6 and are acting like slightly increasing the CXP after that nerf is a gift.

It’s still a nerf. Dailies are now weeklies.

  11. ~Cartel Certificates (Add these to Command Crates drop table in the rep item slot)

~Fix the unlocks for Stronghold Defender Weapons or make the vendored versions unlock in Collections

~Any decorations that used to drop from Flashpoints, Operations

~Any vehicles that used to drop game wide

~Any named weapons/armor sets game wide that haven't yet been reintroduced through Fleet vendors

  12. Neither is Lana and if they had done it right the traitor could have been her for the light side/republic side which is exactly what they should have done.

I thought for sure that this was what they had done and the choice made on Iokath would have actual tangible results beyond NPC cosmetics. I was fully expecting Lana to be the "traitor" and have Imperial dissidents shouting "For Empress Acina!" after Theron took a blast of Force Lightning for me ... and then I ran my Pub-allied toon through and Theron still betrayed me and I went ... lolwut?

I can't even say BW dropped the ball, at this point, since they apparently never picked it up to begin with.

  13. I don't think you are paying attention to the main issue where Theron is concerned. Most people who are just kill everyone who betrays you and what not are the minority group that Bioware appeals to and if Theron is killed off we won't get any more screen time or romance interaction a with him as he will be sidelined like all other LI who e been killed off these past two expansions.

They aren't going to force you to kill Theron. He'll be back. You'll get to rage at his deception, then he can reference when Lana let him get captured to lure our Revan during Forged Alliances on Rishi (or not. It's BW, so they probably don't even know this happened), then it's kissyface time again.

However, if they do end up giving you the option to kill him for the "betrayal", he'll become another mute companion with no further agency in the overall plot, but that's par for the course for all the LIs. The expansion romances have had a ton of screen time compared to the vanilla options, which were largely confined to downtime on your ship, and now exactly one short scene each when they've been reintroduced through the expansions. Don't get me wrong here. I love me some Lana Banana, but the Lana & Theron Show has to end at some point (especially since they aren't really reintegrating our vanilla LIs, which I'd much prefer they do than sideline/kill them all). We are supposed to be the protagonists of this epic story, right? Cause it doesn't feel like it and hasn't since 4.0.

  14. If you were worried about the impact on Conquests, cap the conquest bonus at 150% and let us have 7 strongholds.

    Exactly.

You already PROVEN you can manipulate the bonus percentage a new stronghold adds to Conquest by making the train only add 15% (which, in itself is a ridiculous self-imposed handicap and will severely limit the number of people who bother to get this SH).

Open up a 7th slot and hard cap the max percentage bonus SH collections offer to the current 150%. Or add a script that reduces to 0% any additional bonus past the 150%. Problem solved. Won't matter which order you unlock the SHs then. This doesn't take a committee or months of playtesting. It takes common sense and a little forethought.

I've completely abandoned this expansion due to the ultimate "reward" being a net negative. Thanks again, BW. Iokath continues to somehow be MORE garbage than KOTFE, which amazes me. Oh, and optimize your crap code. The FP runs like Shroud of Memory did on release. Not that I'll bother running it ever again. Those mythical millions of new players you're hunting might want to not play through a yo-yo slideshow though.

  15. Except he's not really a traitor.

He's so obviously doing the "I had to pretend to betray you in order to infiltrate these new villains" plot as James Bond has used in like half his films.

It's an old plot. You'll get your husbando back once he exposes their nefarious plot.

If SCORPIO had been a love interest, we'd have had a way to get her back, too. Probably through GEMINI Prime.

  16. My toons' weapons vanish every time I pick up loot or click a usable object, without fail. Companions also lose their weapons constantly, especially when they leap attack. Been happening for months. BW broke something somewhere along the way with the 5.X series of updates.
  17. I have well over 400 alts now with well over 40 character level 70 across 6 accounts. So speak for yourself when saying its anti Alts. I don't have an issue with it at all. I don't have any problem with others like you not liking it, but am sick to death of you and other thinking you represent EVERYONE else.

I have a GAJILLION alts on a SUPA BILLION accounts and they're ALL level 70 and max GC. RNG gearing is EXCITING, AMAZING and quite the ADVENTURE! Very best SWTOR! Thousands years of GREATNESS to come! Sky is open for shining light of MAGIC crates gifted by MOST EXCELLENT RNGesus!
