    How interesting is the Trooper Class Quest

    I've never played consular so I can't comment on that, although i've heard from some people it gets kind've boring. But I have a level 47 trooper on corellia and i thought the story was pretty good. Act 1 was definitely good (albeit I was itching for the finale around Alderaan.) Act 2 wasn't quite as good but still nice and the finale was great. Act 3 is my least favorite, probably because it's very slow to level and get through each planet at that point, but I can't say it's very bad. If I had the choice, I'd make a 2nd trooper only he'd be a commando and thoroughly dark side.

    So i did the Esseles flashpoint with a friend after doing it before and going light side. We both basically said, "what the hell, lets just eject them into space.

     

    then we watched the whole scene with the sad music and Salen screaming at the end.

     

    And it made me feel bad. :( i was like: "Oh, man, that was pretty evil."

    I agree, i considered making a thread similar to this actually. At first, I was nervous when i looked at his 28k health, but then i started realizing that he had very little damage on me. With Dorne healing me, i only ever got to half health, at the worst. Only took one try.

     

    I found Gearbox, Wraith, the Sergeant we had to fight before Tavus, the imperial version of Havoc and other bosses to be much harder to fight than Tavus.

    Tanno Vik. All of your companions are good people except for him. he was an explosives expert in the republic military, but he was a loose cannon and eventually was discharged. You find him as a rebel on Balmorra. He likes blowing stuff up, killing the bad guys instead of sparing them, taking rewards for yourself, and he doesn't like being patriotic (he has a sort of mercenary mindset.)

     

    Now, he isn't some sith who'll take a village and massacre it for fun, but he'll do some nasty things for an extra profit.

    About Act 3 and Jaxo...

     

     

    if you choose to save the hundreds of troopers she starts sounding very pitiful right before she dies and you feel kind've guilty. But you did the right thing.

     

    IF you save her:

    huge companion affection loss

    many dark side points

    You get chewed out by Garza

    Jaxo gives you one letter or holo-call or something and then you NEVER see her again

    i checked the ability and it said it was channeled over 2.98 seconds or something like that.

     

    as far as i know it's completely random. I've noticed this too, that sometimes it does 2 rounds of damage and sometimes it does 3.

    I assume you're talking about the FIRST armor picture on that page.

     

    wearing that right now with my trooper. its the Diatum Power set. That exact same color red. It's a planetary reward set on Hoth. (lvls. 37-41)

    Last time I checked Flash Points and HEROIC's were totally optional. I might go with the PvP idea that the other guy said.

     

    I'm just speaking from experience. I tried to do every quest on the planets except for heroics and i just couldn't reach that level.

     

    But i'm now finding that PvP is an excellent way to get exp.
