  1. I did 5 groups through the LFG tool on my lvl 42 healer today. Four were Colocoid and the other was Foundry. The queue took about 15 minutes on average (Bastion server). Two of the groups had people who knew what they were doing. Two of the groups had noobs which caused multiple wipes. One of the groups had a ninja, but I just left the group and looked at ***** on the internet until my lockout timer was up
  2. Where do I train my advance class? Where do I train my advance class? Where do I train my advance class? Where do I train my advance class? Where do I train my advance class? We are going to be driven insane (-_- )

  3. What's the best way to help the group when killing the normal and silver mobs in between each boss? I usually charge in, smash, battering assault something, then do as many sweeping slashes as I can (which is only like 2-3). After that I can only assault/massacre or assault/vicious slash the the nearest mob. This feels really weak compared to other AoE's like oribital strike or lightning storm. Is there a better way that is faster for killing groups of normals/silvers?
  4. Our group wiped on Lorrick about 20 times before we gave up. We got to the final stage multiple times, but the part where he keeps exploding into the green clouds kept killing us. I wasn't able to purge the debuff from anyone and it was stacking on everyone 6-7 times before we died. Is that where the antidote comes in? We forgot to try that.

Update for anyone who is having trouble with Lorrik:

We finally were able to beat him today after only 5 tries. We all made sure to use the "rakghoul antidote", but I'm almost positive it did nothing. It definitely did not prevent the debuffs he gave us during the final phase when he was exploding with green gas.

I think one of the contributing factors to us beating him was that I, a sorc healer, am learning to manage my force after the new nerf. When he entered the final phase I had enough force to spam my heals non-stop, and I kept everyone alive while we DPS'd him down easily.

Our tank recorded the fight if anyone is interested:

    Good luck

  5. here's my marauder's. Haven't set up my sorc's yet

I just finished setting this one up for my healing sorcerer. I chose to have the party frames instead of the ops frames because with party frames it's way easier to see debuffs. Whenever I do ops I move the ops frame to the middle and my character's portrait into the bottom left area. My cast bar is very important and would normally be centered right about at my character's knees, but it's not in that screenshot

For the LR-5 droid our tank recorded the fight if anyone's interested to watch. 3/4 of our group was ranged, which helped a lot.

  7. The fact that Lost Island (hard mode) drops columi pieces from its bosses suggests that people in tionese gear would be running that flashpoint, yet in my group everyone was at least 50% rakata geared and we were unable to beat Dr. Lorrick after ~20 tries. LR-5 took us about 12 tries to beat.

I enjoyed the difficulty of this flashpoint, but there's no way a group of people wearing tionese gear would be able to beat it. I would suggest raising the level of loot drops from columi to rakata.

    Thanks,

  8. My guildies and I were eventually able to beat him this morning. Our group was sorcerer and mercenary dps, sorcerer heals, and juggernaut tank. You can't miss a single interrupt. We had the tank keep the boss in the middle while all the ranged tried to stick together and run around the outside edges to avoid the lava and lightning zones. As healer, I just tried to keep throwing down purple circles for the ranged while I healed the tank. It was messy, but we got it done.

Our tank recorded the fight if you wanna see:

  9. You tried carnage from 29-31? Ha! Ha! That means nothing. If you're talking about PVE carnage you need to have tried some lvl 50 FP's or ops. If you're talking about PVP carnage you need to have tried the 50 bracket. Sorry to be a dick, but your post means nothing.

Minimum 40+ so you can at least have massacre before you make a judgement

  10. I agree with Sarfux, that would be nice. Adding to the "things we wish the UI customization had" list, I would have liked it if our character's buffs, debuffs, and procs were separately movable and resizable and not attached to our character portrait/health. I was just hoping to make my procs ginormous.
  11. Why should we roll alts (who are boring as **** to play) to fix Biowares mistakes?

We shouldn't roll alts on a new server - we should keep playing our normal characters... because there will be server transfers soon (at least that's what I keep telling myself herp derp)

  12. I would be so happy to even have anything close to those numbers on my server. On Ula Wii population on fleet peaked at 20 last night(friday)

You should be jelly of The Fatman. I rolled an alt there the other day when I was bored... 250+ people on the Fleet on a Tuesday!
