With no point to PVP in 5.0 I really think its going to completely kill pvp . I would give it 4 mouths. A reward system keeps players shooting for the next level weather its pleasant or not . I'll try it but i don't think there will be much reason to pvp anymore in 5.0.
At least with the current system you had points to show for it..

Yep I create toons now and move them off the server at 65 because heals are so bad. I will not play 65 war zones. there horrible and boring when no one dies. But its getting old and there not fixing it. My Accounts being shut down now. I was holding out for a fix to heals that's never coming.

I know, I won't 65 pvp anymore because of, No one dies because of heals and other stuff. it destroys the game for me. They have NO plans on fixing it . So just going to make toons to 65 then move them to new server . Till the game goes away. Its the only fun i have is playing lower warzones anymore. At least people die

Plain and simple heals in 65 pvp Are a huge Problem. Unless they fix them, You won't have a game in a year or so. So don't fix the problem. It will fix it's self. Choice is yours. Don't believe me just wait.

Really cross healed guarded healer?
Because I've seen 3 beat on them and they laugh and heal them selfs out of it. Face tanking the whole time. Unless your a MA for a guild group . There not going down for most reg war zones. May be 4x4 you might kill a solo healer without Guard but the rest. Really if the heals Knows *** there doing with all there escape tools they should never go down anyway.
On a sorc playing dps most give up before they can kill me and I'm not even a healer, at all.

I quit 65 pvp because it. Then i found my self not queing anymore. So Canceled the game. From looking at the pop. I think allot Of people are doing the same . Said something about in a war zone 2 weeks ago and chat exploded. Heals are out of control and destroying the game. They don't care. So people are moving on. Its sad because under 65 pvp is fun,

Sage / Sorc you don't even have to move not a thing can kill you. Just stand there and out heals anything they throw at you. > really it gets boring after a while nothing can kill you.

I bet the devs play sorc/sage as mainchar.
Sorc/sage healer . I would be surprised.

To be honest, PvP is close to un-playable now.
PvP'er in my guild starting to unsub, can't bare the boring heal-wars.
Most Warzones now have a swarm of Sorc/Sage heals, some with guard on.
Why Bioware just not adjust this to balance pvp more is a puzzle???
Just adjust some of the abilities that a Sorc/Sage heal have, without messing up their capabilities in PvE should be do-able. E.g. significant longer CD on Bubble - dont allow them to heal up while in an immune bubble., remove phase walk only allow Assassins to have it.
Peps are un-subing all the time because of healing. Its outrageous! Why they're not fixing it? is a puzzle may be they want the game dead? Not sure. Its sad because the game had a pop again because of the movie. Its about gone now. But i agree pvp is pretty much unplayable in its current state at 65 of coarse. Its boring. Nothing dies in war-zones. I Really don't care why or how. I want it fixed so pvp with be fun again! Plus peps quitting in droves isn't helping anything. At some point peps will give up on the fixing it at all and they will leave too.
Well they can fix it or the game will fix it with the population.

Tell me, Bioware, why you killed PvP? The healers are absolutely unbeatable. 3 healers in 8-person team = easy win. Such team doesn't need strong dps or tank. It's stupid. Really.Could you change something in the future? I'm playing SWTOR 4 years (PvP most often), but at the moment - PvP is for masochists.
Reroll a New toon and pvp it to 65 . Its allot more fun and heals are not so much of a problem. Just level it killing in the war-zones. Its fun
Its the only thing i found fun to get away from 65 pvp witch they killed , If you only like pvp

Never really have problems with Harbinger PVP pub side. They seem to win most . Think allot has to do with you medal wins and rank in war-zones. But 65 war-zones are horrible on both sides to many heals and matches are boring But normally by the time I hit 65. I have a full set of 208's PVP gear from playing in war-zones all the way up.
But i have normally noticed something the guy calling everyone else bad normally IS the problem not the rest of the team. He's calling everyone else bad to cover up for his crap playing.
Last time i had a guy like this. I gave him the hut ball 2 times. The 1st time he grounded it Instantly. The next time he keep it for like 2 min and just fought people like he didn't know what to do with it. lol It was funny to call someone out for calling everyone else bad lol

There is none. Sorc/sage heals are gamebreakingly OP right now to the point where it doesn't even matter who's on a team so long as they have a dedicated healer. I've come up against plenty of teams who frankly suck but they're unkillible so they breeze through WZs like it's nothing and I've won a lot of WZs just because I had immortality bubbles and 4k HPS on me constantly.
Honestly with 65 pvp the way it is right now it's not worth playing. I played 65 pvp for 6 hours this morning 95% of the time not a thing died. No one could kill me and there heals where too strong and no one died on there team either. really it was a waste of time. I don't see them fixing it right now and I'm not waiting for them to fix it anymore. Really its not fun at all. any new games worth trying?

Half the time you don't even need to kill the healer , just keep up enough pressure on them so they spend all their time kiting and healing themselves too much to be of any use to their own team.
What healer in this game kites? I never seen it. They out heal most dps and if there guarded and cross healing your not kill them. Period . Healing in this game is outrageous. At 65 pvp they with double if not triple dps numbers. In most games. They should be trying to kite and get away from dps. But here they don't have too they can straight up out heal them.
The game will fix its self peps will move on and it won't matter.

Hmm they do die. High burst is needed. Everyone just uses dot specs for high dmg but too low burst. Mara/pt can take a healer down
Edit: not to say healing isn't a bit op atm... Just saying they can die.
Add a tank and heals and I'm not joking I've see them out heal 3 beating on them out healing all the dmg and still 100% This happened more than 6 out of 10 war-zones. It might have been a pre made but do you really think the influx of new players is going to stick around for this?. Its really doesn't matter no toon should be immortal.

At level 65 end game pvp sucks no one dies in allot of war-zones. Why would anyone want to Play end game pvp with healing so broke? When you beat on a healer and they laugh at you and tell you " you will never kill me" there is something wrong.

This god mode healing is killing the game for allot of people. The only way pvp is fun again is re-roll toons to lower warzones, Until some better game comes along Problem is i don't see any good games coming. This change to heals makes 65 pvp Pointless at times no one dies. Its really not fun. -
Premade don't always= win if you beat on there healers they will worry about heals more than the game . After that they normally lose. But most don't focus on heals and beat on tanks so go figure.

Healing is way out of wack. I played 4 65 warzones yesterday. Where no one died it. It was boring as hell. Plus the made you get to 65 quicker. So there not much choice to either fight in 65 wz or quit. They can do what they want With healing. But I don't see how the game is going to go on, with 65 pvp like this. I know I'm looking for a new game.

PVP is really no fun no one ever dies at 65 its not even worth queing for 95% matches no one died in the 1st 2 min. it was a total waste of time. Under 65 its a little better it was like 25%. Still outrageous . But with the increased xp from war zones to stay under 65 is difficult. unless you want to role 60 get to 65 delete and reroll 60 Its really no fun in pvp anymore. I don't think its going to change on the hunt for a new pvp game.

Not sure what the hell there thinking . But Heals are outrageous and no one dies and they nerf spike damage the only thing that can kill heals right now. They have no clue. With the pop drop off and heals going the wrong way its hard to find pvp any fun when no one dies. May be the game will last for a while.

NO Not a thing will the servers are broken there is really no point to play there at all. No open world just a bunch of peps queuing. You can do that anywhere. Also with no cross server ques your never going to get enough people to stay to revive the server .

The heals Right now are out of this world, There so bad, They will laugh at you and tell you you will never kill them. So going to roll a healer on every class until they Fix them. Being Unkillable with low damage. Is better than dead with ok damage. So roll a healer. The war zones will be so bad no one will very play them because no one ever dies. They really need to fix this.

I'm all for new things. But does it hurt anything to leave the old icon. Needless Pain because someone wants peps to use there idea. Next time i would hope they implement it better. 45 min looking for post on the change. Plus avoiding the ball completely.
At least with the current system you had points to show for it..
