  1. Is there a way to give members the ability to edit the Guild Bank, ranks, and etc? Also what happens if I promote someone to Guild Leader? Will that demote me or can there be multiple Guild Leaders?
  2. I know it's been said already. I know there's already a topic on this.

I'm not sorry for posting a new one.

I really enjoy this game. I really think Bioware has made something that is a lot of fun to play. I want to actually be able to play it... my server is completely dead. I want to PvP in the WZs...

I'm not sorry for saying this again elsewhere cause I know they read these in some sense at least and I hope they get the message :( I don't want to find somewhere else something else to play.

They have said they are working on free transfers for people. That way at first it is a choice to them and that no one can complain that they were forced out of their sever, given a new name, a new guild (Or possibly Guildless depending if the name is already registered on that server), and a new legacy name. People would be very very upset if they did it by force instead of by choice.

  3. No I think this community is setting the standard for that

Y'all must have never played GW1 then.... They had way too much of yo mama jokes, Chuck Norris jokes, bad names, and overall just a completely immature community overusing jokes. GW1 was a decent game but the community and other things were just pure trash and I can't imagine the reason of hype for GW2 when it is the sequel to a bad game overall.... don't get me wrong there were enjoyable things in it that kept me playing for a while but overall it was just bad.

  4. Well they should have been paying attention seeing what worked in other games what features players really like.

You know its called research! Didn't they have five years to make it happen.

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying they shouldn't have the things. I'm saying it will take time for them to implement them... time that WoW has had. They are taking some of the good ideas but they also have to take the time to program them and test them. They are already dishing out content faster then WoW did at launch and that is a good start IMO.

  5. Don't need to look far. They can't even implement CHAT BUBBLES. How the **** do you miss adding CHAT BUBBLES?!

No way this is actually serious..... But for real WoW didn't have features like this when they launched and a good amount of things they eventually brought in they stole from other MMOs. WoW has started some good things but they have probably stolen more. SWTOR is a development team that doesn't have 8+ years of experience on a thriving MMO. These tools aren't just something like typing in "Cross server PvP" and it magically does it. It takes time, programming, variables, and a lot of testing. The times are different but the Developers of this game can't just play WoW and look at the programming and steal it. They have to actually make it themselves and do some hard work.

  6. It depends when the start of the quarter. Companies are not bond to a set month for a quarter. If a company started on Feb 15 that is the start of their quarter.

Well for EA their Q4 ends March 31st and I would figure the number would come from the data gathered at the end of the quarter, but the conference says it would be the end of April which confuses me.

  7. So Q4 ended March 31st. My question is where did 1.3 million come from? Wouldn't the numbers of the official report (1.3M) come from March 31st? If so why would they say in the conference that at the end of April they had 1.3m? Are the official reports (1.3M) in http://files.shareholder.com/downloads/ERTS/1863909261x0x567536/7f7dd5ef-7f36-4c7e-bcd6-0e80ea43cf45/ERTS_Q4FY12_Transcript.pdf are they from April or March 31st when the quarter actually ended?
  8. I'll do you one better; I have 2 50s. I also have a plethora of alts, all with matrix cubes. My position stands. If you check my post history you can see I've defended BW many times, but this kind of stuff WILL be remembered when it's time to renew.

Why? Do you actually program games? Because the programming is considerably hard and there will always be glitches. Be happy they are actually fixing them quickly instead of waiting months on end to do something. The same goes for content if you want quality you have to wait and after launch there will always be something they need to fix. You can't demand that something comes out now and is perfect because it isn't possible. Even WoW has to do maintenance after a patch launches and they have been around and used the same engine for 8+ years.

  9. How much revenue has SWTOR collected so far? I can't seem to find exact numbers and i am curious and would like to know for a couple of reasons... one being to see if and how long the game would take to make profit. I've seen speculations that overall they have spent nearly 500 million for everything I.E. Taxes, Advertisements, employees, and development. Not sure if it is true but I am curious because I love this game and I wish the best for it and just was wondering if/when it would make a profit.
  10. Wow, despite a free month, free pets and allegedly-major 1.2 patch along with worldwide roll-out, subscriptions declined from 1.7 million to 1.3 million including all the free subs. I think the analysts are being amazingly optimistic at that rate suggesting things will stabilize at 1 million with that kind of hemorrhaging so quickly.

what don't trolls seem to get about this? The free month was given AFTER March 31st which was the cut off date. Keep buying SWTOR accounts and paying monthly to Troll though... because you are still helping SWTOR make money.

  11. It's possible people (like myself) are still subbed because we're waiting for new things to come around that will make the game better. Personally, I want the group finder. My guild doesn't do much as far as Flashpoints go, and I could go to another one but my friends are in the guild I'm in now.

However, we can't wait forever. MoP, GW2, D3, Tera, not to mention oldies like EQ2 are still viable.

Bioware knew this because those of us in beta told them so. No content past 50 and no group finder was going to kill the game.

Alright first of all Tera literally has no Endgame content so comparing that to this and acting like it is good is just idiotic. The Combat System is good but new game mechanics don't make up for literally no endgame content. 2nd D3 won't even have PvP at launch. 3rd SWTOR had 2 Endgame Operations in the beginning. Cataclysm had i think 4 and one of them was so easy it wasn't considered a real Raid. So 2 Vs. 3 not a big difference, but considering the fact that it is WoW's 3rd expansion and WoW have bee out since 04 that is pathetic.

There is a decent amount of content at level 50 but impatient people to seem to think Quantity > Quality. But as soon as Bioware would be willing to release Operations they worked on for a month that are glitchy and unbeatable. Then all of the sudden it is Quality > Quantity where it should be at first, but they expect the quality to come in quantity. It is counterproductive. I still enjoy the game and understand there NEEDs to be more content... but I am CONTENT (See what I did there?) with waiting for quality work.

  12. Anyone know the answer to this? Did they count accounts on their free month that they received from purchasing the game?

apparently if you make a thread about one thing no one else can make another about the same topic but with a different question.... Great job Bioware mods.

  13. Alright overall 1.3 million Subscriptions is pretty great. 400k loss is a considerable amount, but I think personally it will go up from here on. Hopefully at least.... anyway this is my question:

Did they count the accounts with the free month you receive after buying the game as subscribers?

  14. yup totally. I wouldnt be shocked if EA did them for liable. But no one else wondered why a wow fanatics like them brought this up after Bliz sacked the head team from titan who were the original dev team for wow and cut 600 staff from the games master and customer support teams.

    Coincidence, me thinks not.

Until EA actually does the cuts we can't really be sure. A rumor is just a rumor and when the company in question denies that rumor you don't have much to go off until something else happens. I think 500-1000 people losing their jobs would be noticed pretty quickly

  15. I'm so happy they're fixing the issues asap.

Yeah Bioware noticed some issues and glitches that were introduced or not fixed in 1.2 and have decided to take immediate action so that we have a night of complaining rather than a week of people crying about the things.
