  1. First off, remove specific names from the thread.

     

    Second, did you see an "immune" or any other callout (miss, parry or whatever)?

     

    Lastly, sages get an instant heal, if they take a hit at the same time they heal themselves (or get healed by anyone else) it can look like they are taking no damage. This is pretty rare, relying on timing being relatively close to allow for a misunderstanding.

     

    PS. was the sage guarded? -this in conjunction w/ the heals would make it much more plausible

     

    I didn't see any miss or resist (which I see once in a while) I'll go dig through my combat logs see if i can parse info out that might explain it.

  2. ive played with and against pompeii before and have never noticed anything unusual. pretty average hybrid sorc healer.

     

    additionally, just heard from a guildie that the guy who made this thread has been calling multiple people hackers for a while now, and has also told us to queue for ranked, despite having 3 people online in guild.

     

    I think you might be confused bud. I don't call people hackers and often times assume it is lag or some other bug. And I've never asked anyone to queue for ranked especially against I.D. lol. There used to be another Cryptic on the server but I spell mine with two ii's in name. Anyway, just thought someone else on the server may have seen this before. It was really strange. I have a 50 sorc and I can't eat two 6k smashes at 20% health with no bubble. pretty sure no sage/sorc can. No biggie. See ya in the trenches.

  3. I've noticed a couple of matches against a sorc named P@#$%^ on the Shadowlands server that suddenly takes no damage even after we busted his Force Bubble. He simply took no damage on more than a few encounters over a period of 2 or 3 WZs. Is there an immune to damage hack possibly? Do sorcs get some sort of guarded by the force ability?
  4. Thought I would come post an update. Now full WH I still don't see the kind of heals other classes are posting for match totals. Scoundrels and Sages are still posting consistantly, even on players with partial WH, 300k-700k heals. I've seen a few sages on our server put out over 1 mil in heals. Commandos just don't put up those numbers. With the new stun bubble hybrid sages/sorcs they heal for a lot more even as a hybrid with more utility. Our heavy armor helps against white damage players (weapon dmg) but not against force and tech which is what most PVPers run with. Elemental dmg of powertechs is still WAY overpowered. There is just no mitigation against it. Armor means nothing against elemental attacks. When a powertech in recruit gear can 3 shot a full WH healer something is very very wrong. So in short: commando healers are still gimped. We have half the utility and half the healing output. Give our kolto bomb a longer cooldown but add a nice heal over time effect like the scoundrels have and we might survive a few seconds longer.

     

    my numbers:

    Crit Chance Ranged 35%,

    Crit Chance Tech 40% (with talents),

    Surge 76%,

    Bonus Healing 639.5,

    Activation Speed (From Alacrity) 13.78,

     

    I've been thinking about swapping out half my Aim/End Augs for Power/Defense. I'll let you all know how it goes.

  5. Thats the price of being awesome man. If the New England Patriots kept going to the local park to play pick up games with HS kids, eventually they would show up to an empty park.

     

    You can make the game more enjoyable for your opponents without throwing the game, if your pride demands you 3-cap, then their self-interest demands they avoid you. Maybe that's something to think about as a guild. If you are so good that winning is a foregone conclusion, maybe you are good enough to control the pace and flow of the game in it's entirety. Should you "have" to? Probably not. But people definitely do not "have" to play against you if they don't want to.

  6. Wow, what the heck is this? The entire point of a ranked war zones is to compete against the best of the best...

     

    Saying meh, we're going to lose anyway so lets leave this queue and start another with our guildies isn't competing. It's giving up, and those people have no right to even be allowed into ranked games in my opinion. They need to add an hour+ long deserter buff to people who leave a triggered rwz queue.

     

    If you can't take losing, don't compete. Go back to the regular queue and dominate fail pugs all day so you can try and feel better about losing.

     

    Bahahahaha that is such an elitist comment. Dude when you have 5 of the 8 guys on your team trying to get geared for ranked WZs going against the best is not "going against the best" it's feeding the already fat lions yet another serving of meat. F that! My job as PVP lead is to get my guys geared so we can have a "REAL" match against the best. So until then QQ and be patient. We'll get geared soon enough then we'll really have fun. Until there is some sort of ranking system and cross server que you'll see this happen all the time. And if BW doesn't add these features you'll be standing around anyway because nobody will be PVPing.

  7. This whole 1.3 update really won't make people want to play Commandos as much as they are played right now (which is almost 3 out of 10 people [in my server]). Due to the high influx of Vanguards/ PowerTechs (Assault/ Pyrotech spec'd) running around in PvP gibing people in 7 to 10 hits, and doing ridiculous amount of Burst Dmg (being an elemental tree mind be) its become the downfall of the Commando Advanced Class.

     

    Now I still play my Commando, since Beta, but I just hate how paper thin I am and how much damage I produce in PvP against other classes that can crit more with their abilities alone. I'm not asking to make Commandos pure-death dealers or super-tanks for PvP but a slight-buff is needed to their damage to bring them on par with other classes.

     

    Those are my thoughts on the state of Commandos right now. Ill still play mine to the fullest but it just feels like I can't help support a team if I can't be on par with some other classes.

     

    *P.S* As you can tell I hate Vanguard/ Power Tech (Assault/ Pyrotech spec'd) and the ridiculous numbers they can put out and I play one too. lol

  8. sounds like you are just crap at your class. their heals are amazing when used right. healing needs a stacking nerf just like dot and debuff have. you don't need a boost. just l2p

     

    ROFL roll a trooper healer then you can talk smack. We don't even come close to the 600K - 700K that sorc's and sages are dropping. You're just trying to be rude.

     

    I did pick up a couple more pieces of WH and I am breaking 250K per match a lot more often but still nowhere near other healing classes. I look forward to seeing what full WH set does.

  9. I regularly get between 500k - 600k healing done in the warzones. This is with 5 pieces of war hero and rest battlemaster. I manage to keep myself up and when I need dps peeled off me I rely on my allies and CC. Can't say I have a problem with commando healing right now. It did however feel weak in recruit gear but thats what you expect at entry level gear.

     

    Well I would love to get your rotations and build. Any help to maximize my healing would be great. I'm only 4 pieces of WH gear (gun, 2 implants, Helmet) and the rest of my shells with BM mods and AIM augs. So maybe that would make a big difference. I almost never have a guard on me as my 2 buddies are dpsers. I have had one Voidstar that I healed for 380k but I had no deaths. It is rare for me to break 200k in most WZs though. Should I be using adrenals to improve my heals? not sure if that makes a big difference or not but I guess I could respec to biochem.

  10. Thanks for the feedback guys. I have seen sages put up HUGE healing number 700k + in a warzone and I am lucky to break 200k heals on my trooper. Our AOE heal Kolto Bomb just isn't cutting it. Give us an absorb shield like sages with a short cool down and we might be able to live longer than 4 seconds. I have seen sages in full recruit gear hold off 3 attackers for a full min and end the match with 400k heals. I run around pillars screaming like a little girl hitting every instant (low numbers) heal I got just to live 20 seconds longer. Against a Powertech I don't even try to burn cooldowns or cleanse anymore. Once I'm slowed and dotted I'm dead, end of story. We just don't have enough tricks in our bag to survive in PVP and our heals just don't heal enough or don't activate fast enough even in full medic gear.

     

    So yeah, I had to switch back to dps (or level another toon and begin the long grind to full war-hero which puts me way behind the power curve for rated WZs).

  11. Patch 1.2 has made Commandos the crappiest healers in the game and our lack of utility is horrific. We do ok damage but nothing near what other classes are doing because the channeled AOE's we have hit small areas (nothing like smugglers or sorcerers). You give us this big sweet looking autocannon and I feel like I'm shooting with a cap gun. My War-Hero weapon should hit much harder. And because I'm so squishy (no absoption shield like slingers/snipers/sorcerers/sages) so we are reduced to running around corners constantly in order to use our crappy heals to maybe get back to half health before the enemy is all over us again. Oh and lets make it so melee players can be immune to my knockback which already has an insanely long cooldown. Sentinals should not be 4 shotting a heavy armor'd trooper. If you are going to let powertech spam elemental attacks with no cooldown then at least give me no cooldown or a talent to make Field Aid have no cooldown. Your changes to my class make them almost useless in a PVP setting. It makes me sad.
  12. I had a hard time figuring out what the list of republic flashpoints were with the hard mode option so I tried searching forums and had no luck so went to my trusty Google search and found this list:

  13. The filtering system in this game is broken. As an Armstech I can only filter for weapons but nothing else. Every other option in the list is for stuff Armstech can't craft. I don't need to filter on "Earpieces" since I can't craft those. Please make each Crewskill UI unique to the skill please. At skill 400 I have soooo many items I can make and it would be nice to be able to filter for "shotguns" for example. Being able to filter for a level range would be nice too. Give me all items in my list for lvls 31-33 for example.
