  1. I think the best use for the finder would be in this order with following reasons.

    Heroics:

Once away from the starter flashpoints, your off and running with your class quests. In that process you encounter heroic start points. Once obtained you can use the locator to find folks who in turn could have the same Heroics and need more people.

    Flashpoints:

Not everyone is doing flashpoints. I know not everyone is doing Heroics either, but it seems that there are more Heroic encounters that are approached along the class quest road map than flashpoints.

    Operations:

These can be done with guild mates. Very few times have I seen actual operations being done where you first have to be given a once over to insure you have the gear to go through it.

I'd like to suggest putting in a Heroic/Flashpoint/Ops Que system. This could be simply opening up a Que window for say all the Heroics listed by level and clicking it.. you wait. .and when the appropriate number of people have also clicked on the same Heroic, then presto teleported to the heroic/flashpoint/operation and they get started. Possible?

Can the group filter with basic gears level checking for HARD MODE flashpoint too? some flash lvl 50 players joined when I LFG . but thier gears really not enough for that !

  2. Yup, on the oceanic PVP server right now. Was levelling an alt Marauder on the Empire side, only got to 20 though before the xfer was announced today :)

There's LOTS of guilds based on the SG / HK time and also many aussie ones that are constantly recruiting. Go over and take a look!

I am HK player too, at Asia PVP Server , Empire Side. we created a Guild with some HK players , Welcome to join us.

we wait for you. Guild name is " Nathan Road" .

  3. iMac 27" Late 2011 , i5,12GB memory, ATI 6970M,

I upgraded a new 120G SSD for my iMac by my own for BOOTCAMP only,

and I notice Bootcamp with win7. all using standard Device Drivers.

My SSD is SATA3 6G/S, but with BootCAMP in win7. it using Standard IDE MODE!!

So i search online for fix. finally make it working in AHCI mode. , it's read speed from 210MB/S up to 530MB/S . Hope this can help someone using SSD to play SWTOR

and I using 2560X 1440 to play with all high but "Shadow" off. FPS is around 50-60 Fps. with shadow on. it drop to around 30 fps.

I using the driver come with bootcamp. will it go faster if me change it to use Crystal drivers? and which version? Thank you.

  4. Dear BioWare,

I'm wondering if in the future there will be a Star Wars: the old republic for mac?

Running it on a bootcamped windows version, and going quite smoothly, but switching over all the time is kinda annoying and i really prefer using OSX instead of windows if im playing on a mac ;p

    Regards,

    Bob

    P.S.

    Merry Christmass

Same as You.. I using my new iMac 27" to play SWTOR , it need me switch to BOOTCAMP ..

really annoying. and main point is window OS can not control the fan speed.. it alway over heat....when i played few hours.

if have Mac version , that is a PLUS..!!

  5. I'd also like to know exactly where the servers are going to be!

I am player from Hong Kong. it's a good news to hear that. but if the server for Hong Kong at Aus. that is an bad idea. since the internet speed to U.S is faster than to Aus at Hong kong... it will no different for me... ( Taiwan or Hong Kong will be good !)

So where is the Server for Hong Kong players?
