  1. What most gaming companies fail to understand is that games must have a HIGH replay value. If they do not, they will crash a burn hard. That is why the games of old will always be better than these newer better graphic games. Because no matter what, people will always go back to them. Swtor could be a game like that, but with EA at the helm, it won't. EA wants to just milk this game instead of re-inspiring people to continue to play.

That's nice, but it's also an opinion.

I've got plenty of new games that I can replay loads of times and am happy doing do. Just because you don't like them as much doesn't mean they don't have replay value.

  2. I love undercutting profiteers. I'm doing the customer a favour and I don't have to wait freaking days for my credits. I love it even more when I'm the one buying (which is usually the case) so I can get my collections and whatnot done without having to go earn 5 fortunes first.

The ones that aren't selling because they insist on having high prices are the ones that do not know how to price things. Hooray for heavy undercutting! Long may it continue. :)

Price gouging hurts the market just as much as over-pricing. All sellers are also buyers (unless they're broke/stupid) so dropping the prices on the smaller and less rare items just puts the bigger ones more out of reach. For a healthy market you need a balance and you don't get that by ridiculous under-cutting.

And yes, it's nice to find those items you want for cheap but when something drops from 50k to 27 over the span of about 10 posts, that's just ridiculous. And no, that's not an exaggeration, unfortunately.

  3. Oh, please.

It's not like the OP did anything wrong.

The worst they would do is dump you back to to preferred status just as if your subscription ran out.

Actually if the OP continued, knowingly, using the subscription bonuses without paying for them that would be doing something wrong. That's certainly worth a warning and full reversal, if not worse.

  4. If you're not being charged, just be quiet about it and enjoy the ride.

This is actually a terrible idea because you can, potentially, get banned for exploiting the system. There's really no way to miss being a sub in this game unless you just don't log on so if they catch you getting the sub benefits for a period of time without paying for it they will not be happy.

  5. That's like 44 years of play time!

It's probably a glitch. When you cancel your sub you don't actually un-sub until the month you paid for finishes so, if you remember when that's going to be, I'd wait to see what happens then, personally.

  6. Yeah, people are still going to take the ones they didn't block off the bat and they certainly won't have taken the time to block every variation of an illegal name.

That doesn't mean that once you get the name, if reported, you can keep it.

  7. Leveling an Imp toon to level 11 doesn't mean I didn't interact with other Empire players while playing my main character on Pub side !

But yeah I'm gonna try it again maybe :p

Yes because people are typically sooooo nice to those on the opposite faction. That's why pvp servers are love and rainbows and happiness, right? Granted, I met some very nice imps on my pub character on my pvp server. Lol

All I'm saying is that you shouldn't judge an entire faction just by some people you've met.

  8. Just my personal experience and I think it's known that Empire players tend to be like that... Just like every '' bad '' side in every single game on the internet ( WoW is a perfect example ! ). But hey, I try not to put everyone in the same basket...

Well you only leveled up to 11.... Also your WoW experience is interesting to me.

As someone who's been playing WoW for ~9 years now and has played around an equal number of years on both sides.... there's no difference. You may have had individual cases as there's always douche bags on the internet but it's the same thing with a different colour and I've noticed that in SWTOR as well.

  9. Nope, they're mission rewards.

They're only on the ones that also have other companion items, a random loot box and a commendation or two, though. So it's not like they're the only reward choice or anything.

  10. Nope, I hate the idea of him being Batman.

But, I think he'd be perfect for a secondary role or set of cameos in the next SW trilogy. He's a Biggs or Wedge, not a Han Solo.

On a related note, I really hope they don't bring Han Solo back, tbh. If it's not a young Harrison Ford I don't want it. :p

  11. Collections mounts, I have a few of them that I like too much to not have on all my characters...

    Treek.

Collections crystals of all the types (excpet crit). Probably the most useful thing ever. I was switching them out daily on my Sentinel when I was pvping more (since I used the same sabers for both).

Revan/Malgus/Whatever the Pub training Holostatue is called. I love leveling. :p

  12. Probably should have clarified that I've played on and off since basically release so I know what droid parts are for I was just confused as to why I was getting these specific droid parts when I was lacking and, from what I've seen, will never get a droid companion apart from the useless and irritating ship one. I just figured this was the best place to find the answer.

Thank you for the response, though. Good to know they're pretty much useless aside from what I'm using them for, then. :)
