LOL if hes not smart enough to see F2P is a benefit for everyone, Checkers might even be a hurdle for him, clearly never going to learn chess.
The only benefit F2P serves is server overcrowding which is already happening and me not having to pay 15$ a month anymore...

With out macros I feel all these Legacy emotes are completely useless, pointless and just plain inconvenient. I'm not gonna waste finger stride just to emote my class legacy. So all those emotes go unused and unappreciated... Until macros come into play atleast.

I noticed 3 conversations so far that referenced Chiss but the story doesn't acknowledge that I'm a Chiss myself. In the screenshot especially. This should be updated, it makes me regret picking the species because it doesn't feel "lore friendly"?

What's left for CE owners? the horrible Merchant that sells non-impressive trooper armor (even more non-impressive republic side) for like 60k+ credits.
Way to go Bioware. Keep putting out promos like this and alienate people from your game and I am sure that its not just CE owners that are fuming
You got collectibles like that statue or those art books.

I really REALLY hope they don't change that speeder 1 requirement for this cause this is so worth the 60$ drop for a copy+time card off amazon with hopes my roommate will use and play it... It is saving me 3,860,000 credits between all 8 of my characters for speeders and training to get 110% speed. Awesome promo Bioware! I'm sold!

The game was great and fun while it lasted, the late release on Legacy killed it for me. Diablo 3 is out so thats my game of choice now, but when this game dies which it seems it will just skimming recent posts... It would be awesome if you opened up a single player offline mode for those of us that enjoy a good Bioware story behind their game. Best of luck and again thanks Bioware.

Race has ZERO game mechanic benefits. All it does is change a few bits of dialogue, and gives you an emote.
Because of this, there is no reason that BioWare could not allow ALL characters rolled before 1.2 was implemented to do a one-time race change. This would allow all of those who rolled different races to reorganize their characters into the races based on the family tree they want to implement.
It's not like other MMO's where there are racial abilities and stat bonuses are at stake. Allowing this one-time change would not affect balance in any way.

Then there's no problem with allowing people to change their race, the way you put it the only reason they wouldn't allow it is sheer laziness.

Legacy was all I was waiting for when I started... Now I've lost interest and quit, took too long and wasn't worth all the suspense.

So I got a level 50, 45, 32 and the rest of my eight are level 16-20 and I have never been in a group for a heroic quest or a flashpoint... Simply because I can't find anybody to group with and all my pleas in general chat fall on death ears... I love the class story's but its getting pretty tedious being 2 levels under my quests and forced to pvp to fill in the gaps. I hope this game isn't dead and you developers put in some serious effort to migrate and bring people into groups (I have a feeling that your LFG tool in the works won't work for me on my seemingly dead server) because I won't be playing an MMO with no social aspect for too long.

So I use time cards and can't play with my buddy... I have to subscribe? The invite a friend was my only incentive to continue, being that there was a chance to get my friend hooked... But nope so I'm riding my last 45days out thanks for the short but awesome gaming experience Bioware. If 1.2 is a god send I may reconsider but I only pay with time cards... so come on.

I quit alts when I reach Hoth and on my main I'll never go to Ilum since I don't have any leveling up to bear through.

Small vs Big
in PvP
So a small character whos facing off against a big character I have noticed have a very exploitable advantage in world PvP, there are certain obstructions mostly vehicles that a small character can run underneath and a big character can not... This creates Line of sight advantages that would allow the small guy/gal to hide away and heal up or even continue to dps while the big guy is forced to wait till the small comes out or is forced to retreat... -

My theory that with the peace treaty cross faction trade should instead of being restricted should be wide scale and promoted.

So I was doing some crewskill missions on my Imperial and I keep getting schematics to craft Republic class items which leads me to this question and thought. Why is the Galactic Trade Market restricted to only Imperial or only Republic... As the name "Galactic" suggests it should be open to every faction... So I can get a budding market for these schematics and maybe even craft some of the pieces and sell them off to pubs from my imp... Idk about your server but from my experience no one uses the Hutt Trade Network so why am I getting useless (at the moment) schematics... Its a shame vendoring them.

I HOPE SOMEONE AT BIO WILL READ THIS POST.
I will not resubscribe until the legacy feature is released and if any of those "Legacy Character Creation Options" should make me want to delete on of my 8 already made characters, I will not resubscribe because that will ruin it for me. Again hope someone that matters at Bio is paying attention to all the Legacy related posts...

So i just finished my class quest on voss and kylio just got taken away and says shes "unavailable" in my crew skills window... shes my only geared companion and Im two levels behind on my class quest aswell... so now Im left stuck with out a good and suitable companion with now way to grind or do my remaining quests on voss... so because of that im annoyed and no longer want to play my IA... any tips on how or where I would be able to gear scorpio? I need me a tank =/
But really Bio? dont give me any companions until alderan and because of that gap I stuck with kylio since she was a lvl 30 with a headpice, ear slot, implants, ect... getting the next companion so late didnt leave me much room or incentive to eye gear for others... and now like I said.. Im completely stuck and I hate this games excuse for pvp...

Oh, come on, don't give me the kiddo card. I prolly am much older than you (42 this summer) and I am no fan of WoW either. WoW is the game to blame for the state MMOs are in nowadays. And SWTOR is a really bad WoW clone, nothing more.

I'm in love with this game and the reason is simple. Decision Wheels. That alone keeps the replay value high. I would just like to see the Legacy system implemented very soon, that's my only concern right now.

This system if not implemented very soon, within the next month soon, will break this game for folks like myself that enjoy alts more then endgame material. I'm not waiting around in the dark... I started my alts already and if this system offers something I deem major that I missed out on and leans me wanting to delete a progressed character, I'll cut my lose and end my subscription.
