    Serve longer!?!? How often do you upgrade your PC? Every 10th year? In that case, don't get a SSD. But in ANY other case, buy one. There is such a huge difference between the two you won't believe it. Don't buy the after market cooler. Eximan is right, you don't need it AT ALL! Use the stock that comes with the processor, then use the money to get the SSD. There! Problem solved! :cool:

    You don't need to "rewrite" on the SSD though. The only reason I bought an SSD is to have loading screens for gaming go faster and my booting times. So install your games and your OS on the SSD and keep a normal drive for your downloads, movies and others files that you are gonna be modifying a lot. You can alter files on it ofc, it's not like you're gonna break it. They evolved since the first SSD's came out so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

     

    I prefer to use hdd, but I might buy ssd few years later, when their technology will evolve so that they can serve longer.

    Anyway it's not crucial for me to get best performance, just entry enthusiast lvl, perfect for student IMO.

    The SSD helps with loading screen and its generally a huge steup from not having it - general loading times on the computer etc. Bootin the computer in 10 seconds is amazing, as well.

     

    RAM is so cheap so I'd suggest you get 16 instead of 8.

     

    Edit: No matter how high you upgrade (trust me, recently got a rig for a bit more than 2*150 euro) you will still experience lag in 8v8. Its not much and it certainly helps, but the framerate will drop - that this game is poorly optimised is the understatement of all time :p

     

    Tbh I am uncertain if this ssd will live long for me, as I understood it's not very "rewrite" friendly. And I can't control my urges to download / reload / delete .. :o

    I feel like its better to buy a nicer videocard and then add ssd. Since I heard some of them live around few month, others ofc years, but still it's a bad business.

    Well I certainly don't expect to get best performance, just playable FPS..

    well i want to buy new PC, mostly for SWToR and some AC ( ye Air Conditioning you got it right , son :rak_03: )

    but i dont want it to be too expensive or too cheap.

    My goal - stable and good FPS while doing some noob pew pew 8 vs 8

    Very important for BW to implement this, but I assume it might distract them from new content for a long time, so it's. A risky ( to lose some guisewhoneedcontentasap ) but very necessary act.

    Moreover 32bit client is the thing that holds the whole future swtor development back. The sooner the better!

    A good beginning. I assume next 2.8 ( or later ) will introduce some nerf for scooperhealers.

    I queued up on my main, Inferious, in yoloqueue...

    First this game was mainly conceived for pve, and trough all patches you can see where their attention ls focused.

     

    Ffs that's a problem for the people who play pvp and, you aren't gonna believe this - want new content and attention too.

    You have provided only another argument that pvp guys ( anyone who plays it, not pro or noob - just people who love it ) are the most ignored minority. Which isn't a great course of action for any MMO game.

     

    Every new so-called pvp oriented MMOs ( like these dirty GW or Gaystar ( looking gay means too bright ) ) take the half of pvp "community" simply cause they feel abandoned here.

    Nice gear on his desk. Wonder if I could play with a thingiemabob like that. :o

     

    Playing with razer nostormo requires to bind wasd to some abilities or you'll have to click others. ( not enough buttons :( )

    If you are not clicker and move with mouse then you surely can play like that.
