They did it that way so you can only get the champ comm's from bags until your Rank 50 valor, so that you cant stock up on them while lvling up from 10-49. They dont want people hording comm's till they reach lvl 50 and out right buy all their gear. if you notice you cant buy Champ Comm's unless you are rank 50 valor.

You get bags for completing daily/weekly PvP quests, half of which basically take place on Ilum and the other half of which are WZs, and these give you the commendations you need for the gear.
These weeklys you pickup in fleet or in Ilum? I know of 1 weekly for like 9 wz wins but thats it. Only been to Ilum once lol.

Anyone know of a thread that explains all this Ilum and token stuff? I mean i know about WZ and Merc accomidations but is that all you use to get Cent/Champ gear, what do you get from Ilum? Just dinged 50 and then started a new character but now i want to pvp with my 50.

Greetings, I hope you guys can help me here a bit. I am about to turn level 50 and I am at a loss of which pvp gear to get.
I'm 31/0/10 specced and love it so far. I use this build for PvE and PvP and it suits my playstyle perfectly.
So far I saved up 1000/1000 warzone / merc commendations and one champion bag, which means I can open 6 of them the moment I turn level 50.
Now which set should I aim for? And should I buy piece after piece or just all together. (waiting for all together has the upside of not wasting tokens should I get a unassembled thing, but then I'll stay with old gear till I can afford all)
Any tipps are greatly appreciated.

I rather enjoyed the video, I love darkness now in PVP, can you post your spec, looks like you are 31/0/10. As someone who is about to ding 50 with 1000/1000 marks can you suggest what I buy first, should i get 5 champion boxes or bags? Im tearing it up in the 10-49 bracket but I know for a fact im gonna be squishy and useless in the 50 bracket so I want to get the best gear I can so I dont hurt the teams too much.

Can you put your finger on exactly what changed?
I mean, with this build, compared to 31/0/10. What you lose is basically Wither. What you gain is 50% bigger crits on Thrash, and for 6 seconds after coming out of stealth you have INSANE force regen. That's pretty much it though, right?
So why are we seeing better performance? Unless of course you were Deception before, that would explain it.
Actually I was madness before and was very squishy, granted the DPS was phenomenal but my survivability was not the greatest. With this new spec I do a bit less dps but stay alive alot longer. I opted out of wither only cause the spec called for it, i didtn pickup the force regen out of stealth yet so right now its just normal force regen, but the thrash dps and constant shocks are hitting like a truck. I do miss Death Field a bit though so I may pick that up instead of the force regen out of stealth.

I played all day with this spec yesterday and my survivability went through the roof!!! most matches I had 10+ medals, and did the objectives, captured the ball, defused bombs, planed the bombs and all that stuff. Granted im in the 10-49 bracket and can see this turning aroudn once im 50, but you gotta start at the bottom and work your way up, I have no doubt ill suck in the 50 bracket.

Would it be better instead of putting 2 points in Dark Embrace and 1 point in Dark Ward to use those 3 points in Death Field and Fanaticism?
You cant take the point out of the darkness tree, if you do you wont be able to go up the tree it seems.
PS, im totally gonna try this when I get home, but to be sure, you are doing this in all DPS gear right and Im guessing survivability would go up even more if you used a shield right?

I wend Madness spec and DPS in tank stance with Khem and I have net to have him die in normal fights, during 2man heroics Khem and I usually just taunt off each other and all is well. Though now that I'm reaching my 40's his health is dropping much faster, I cant wait form my healing companion.
