    As simply as possible ...

     

    1. They're trying to make the destination servers as full as possible

     

    2. A *lot* more people will be transferring over the weekend, because they only play on the weekend.

     

    3. They didn't transfer many low-pop servers because it's easier to "top off" a server with low-pop servers.

     

    4. They can't do this topping off until they see just how many people will actually transfer this weekend.

     

    It's not about fairness, it's about achieving the best long-term results for the game.

     

    It might also be about faction balance, though that's only my hope.

     

    Yada yada yada! It's unfair period!

    Making other people wait 4 more days than the others before they get transfers like we aren't paying them the same amount as the other already transferred servers.

     

    So transferred people get to enjoy this weekend while us on the other hand suffers another weekend of crappy population!

    - Lots of endgame content is up.PvP Fps Ops Dailies

    2. Scaling the PvP Gear has made PvE content redundant.

    - Not Really

    3. World PvP doesn't work at all

    - Who cares!

    4. The Legacy system fails to offer incentives to play, it's just a money sink

    - Its just beginning lets wait!

    5. Queue times for Battleground PvP content are artificially longer than necessary

    - Not on my server - Tomb of freedon

    7. The experiment with a world event in the Rakghoul Plague had no follow up

    -Lets wait ?

  4. I unsubbed, but I might reconsider if you guys can add in some more gd warzones. I know you're working on merging the servers and that's great and necessary and needs to get taken care of asap. But! What about after? I need more than these 4 warzones. No Ilum has left pvpers with a very small, unimpressive, flaccid amount of content.

     

    Yes fix Ilum, I'm sure you guys can take care of that.

     

    But this MMO needs more warzones. I also recommend a larger warzone. One that holds 24 players on both teams. Like a siege. Something epic. Maybe you could do something similar to the sacking of Croissant?

     

    Only problem with this is that it'd be toasting video cards :D It's nothing to do with our end though :D

     

    I just remember Ilum PvP's before like 40v40's when everybody starts casting all their crap fps just goes down.

  5. Q: What is happening with ranked warzones? They were suppose to be in 1.3, but they are not?

    A: Oh no, it’s a warzone question! Ranked warzones, we added them in 1.2 to the pts. You can have a very good design on paper and it is a very good design when you prototype it, and when you put it with the rest of the game you realize that it is not that good. The problem with ranked warzones we found just before we released 1.2 was that we let people just queue by themselves for ranked warzones. When you have ranked warzones, the important thing is your rank goes up and down based on your wins/loss. Something that is very personal, your rank, was in the hands of something so complete strangers that you have no control over. You could be starting a warzone and then you notice that guy on your team who is just terrible and just abort the warzone when the team loses. It is one thing to be upset at end of the match with your teammates whom you communicate in vent etc but it is a different thing to be upset at strangers. Rather than releasing it, we decided to disable it.

     

    We went back to the drawing board to create a good experience where you queue up for the ranked warzones as a complete team (not a group of 4 but a group of 8). We also had to make sure that once the warzone is over, your group is not dissolved. When we made this decision, we realized that we have to fix a lot of things to give you a good experience.

     

    It is going to be on for 1.3 but whether it is enabled or disabled it is going to dependent on all the testing we done internally and on the pts. It is going to be very disappointing personally and for you guys if it is not on but then again we reserve the right to postpone it if it is not to the quality we want.

    So, at 1.3 they could still disable Ranked WZ's still. So WHY the hell did they release RATED WZ Armours if you can't and won't be able to use it till about another 3 months?!

     

    Before 1.3 and no Rated WZ's = 100k subs gone.

    After 1.3 and still no Rated WZ's = 300k more subs gone! BOOM!

     

    Well of course those are just estimates :D But seriously, these people really don't know which things they should be prioritizing huh?

    Don't say crap like this. Some people spend months to get to level 50 and all you could say is "REROLL"? That's just stupid.

     

    In a way it is BW's fault but of course not entirely, the reason why people don't play or leave servers is and is also possibly BW's fault.

     

    Think before you speak and enough with the non-sense of "rerolling". It's actually one of the major causes of dwindling population in various servers.

  7. Can't stay stealthed forever so... Pretty sure this won't be much of a problem. Team compositions of 8 stealthers wouldn't be hard to counter IMO.

     

    If it's private wars in the middle of nowhere then yes they may have an advantage. But if it was objective wars, then stealth would only be a small factor.

    6/21/12 - If Ranked WZ's or at least Cross Server PvP comes out before this date then yes I will stay. If not, TATA!!! Gonna play Tera and D3 till GW2 comes out.

  9. Sooo, since the legacy system invites making a ton of alts (awesome thank you very much :) ) I find myself for the first time contemplating making a second Sith Warrior. Now I've already maxed out my character slots (one of each "real" class) . I would be willing to play on another Server if I must but I'd not contribute or profit from my legacy at all would I? Is there some way around this or some solution on the horizion?

     

    No your legacy isn't carried onto other servers. You start a character on another server, you start a new legacy. Start from scratch.

  10. I Play on an Australian/New Zealand server and i have had no trouble with server population on average there are around 90 players per planet and over 200 on fleet.

     

    The game is not even six months old, if the game has celebrated an anniversary and the problems still persisted then i would be on board with you guys but this game is still teething so if you give up on something after 5 months then i feel sorry for you.

     

    I think the point is that most players are still under rank 50 so Bioware see this as an opportunity for time as most people have not gotten through the current content yet.

     

    Please don't even say anything anymore ever about server population. You have 3 servers in the whole lot of Asia Pacific/Australia compared to 123 servers of North America. Actually don't even say anything at all if you don't know anything about the situation in the US servers.

     

    Also most players are still under rank 50? Just ROFL...
