  1. The armor can still be used in the same way as before. The only difference is that you can pull out the armoring and the bolster is fixed because of those changes to the armor. While doing so, they probably deleted the previous version and gave out a new one. Write a ticket and you'll probably get your lost stuff back. No need to complain.
  2. [...]This though is true for veterans in most MMOs.. they quickly run out of things to do after an expac and get bored and unsub again. Even WoW, with it's huge expacs, suffers from this because they do not release them fast enough to stop veterans from going belly up on the content in just a few months.

It is impossible to release good content faster than players being able to clear it. A bit of patience is always necessary.

  3. [...]should have been used to continue the class-specific story-line that made this game great.[...]

Everytime I read how awesome it would be if we still had the classstories, I remember one thing: People ended up being max. Level in hours after the launch, complaining because they don't have stuff left to do. In the end THOSE people did not stay and because of THIS we do not have classstories anymore. It's like killing Companions in the original story. Possible in beta, some outcries from testers later, it is no longer possible. Now the player complain about it. It isn't entirely BWs fault that we are where we are. You need to blame the playerbase too.

  4. [...] as long as the replay ability is high.

Base game through EV, KP, Denova, Lost Island and Kaon Under Siege and Terror from Beyond has an extremely high replay ability factor.

Makeb and Scum and Villainy have a low replay ability factor.

Oricon and the entire Forged Alliances and Shadows of Revan patches have a high replay ability factor.

    Ziost is Meh

KotFE is touch and go, but mostly not very replayable, the Star Fortresses were a joke... Soloable in HM... seriously? That isn't "hard mode," it's solo and lean a good strategy mode.

KotET felt like they were phoning it in at times, although the last 2 chapters were interesting.

The "need" to replay something really depends on the person. I never liked Denova or the Rakghoulstuff, while Ziost is one of my favorite planets. But all that doesn't really come down to the devs, it is more a problem with writing the story behind the game. You can't please everyone with what you do.

  5. [...]The only reason I play this game now is to enjoy the class stories and manage my guild. Thank the Force that a subscription is not required to do this.

Don't you lose the guildleader title as preffered if at least one person is a subscriber?

And for everyone else: Stop worrying about CXP or crates. Can't you just enjoy the game for the gameplay and the fun you get from it?

  6. [...]

Here is my Alignment graph showing points and can you tell me how many more DS I need to start getting to DS Tier 1 lol.

    At the moment I am

    1) Neutral -2028

    2) LS 2040

    3) DS 4068

At the bottom it states: Next Tier 10000

    [...]

You do know how that system works? If not: 2) and 3) show you how much points you gained on LS/DS. Both cancel each other out, so if you have 4068 DS points and your 2040 LS points you end up with your -2028 in 1). It is "-" because it is DS, while LS would be "+" (without a "+" because math). Now you are neutral, but leaning to the darkside (because "-"). The next tier is at (-)10000 and to reach that you need your counter 1) to reach that amount of points. Because LS (2) and DS (3) cancel each other out you need 7972 more DS points to reach Darkside I or 12028 LS points to reach Lightside I.

  7. While the OP is pretty clearly wrong about a nerf, you're equally wrong if you cling to the delusion that getting faster Disintegration Crates matters in any meaningful way.

Never said that it matters. Not to me anyway, because I am playing this game for fun not CXP. But enough people wanted more CXP, now they have and some are still crying about stuff. So where is the fun in playing if you start chasing reasons to complain?

  8. GC and RNG is exactly what this game needs. Gearing like in 4.0 was stupidly fast and everyone ran around in nearly full 224 stuff on different characters without doing anything except getting carried through Karagga and SOA. To bad BW is now going the Legacy/Token-way, characterbound GClevels was a great idea to finally get people to learn their class, because you were in need to actually PLAY it instead of getting carried.

Be happy that BW gave you a finger with all those changes, but you don't want a finger, do you? You want to rip off not only the arm but the whole upper body. Get a grip on yourself and take a rest if this game is "work" for you. Enough people still enjoy it, more so without the bickering of a vocal minority. The world will not end without you. ;)

  9. There are many indications that you are wrong. The actions of the studio, the server populations, and Google trend data all suggest that most players dislike the state of the game so much that they've left entirely.

Show me numbers to prove what you are saying. You can't? To bad. I still enjoy the game and many people I know do the same. There is no need for those to post in forums or even read this bickering and hatestuff certain people spam here.

And the action of the studio? If I would work at BW I would say "shut up idiots", but they probably won't. So they decided to give you a finger with tokens and people want to rip off the whole arm. Some are never happy, complaining just to complain. Even not released games are dead, if devs don't accept their only viable opinion. Things never change.

Stay strong BW, youre game is awesome.

  10. Lmfao

While I personally am fine with GC as long as it keeps getting improved, I dont agree with your post.

Youre talking about the Chinese grinder model I'm guessing, which tends to have a smaller player base for a reason. Either way I'm pretty sure FF14 is a "real" MMO since it has 6million subscribers, and considered to be hugely successful. It's "really good gear" always drops from the appropriate bosses. Harder bosses = better gear. Nothing in your post applies to FF14.

And you think the "chinese (they aren't even chinese) grinder models" have a smaller player base because of RNG? They have a smaller base because you can choose from alot different games. There is no big name like Warcraft, Final Fantasy or Star Wars. Certain games are around as long as WoW and yes, even WoW got grind on a RNG base afaik.

RNG is not the devil. Accept it. The only thing I'm saying is: RNG could be around way more and the only solution. Be happy that BW brought back your beloved tokensystem, which was /dice-RNG too.

  11. There's nothing more annoying than the never-ending "we" semantics posts. It means the person speaking and others, you are adding the implication of universal inclusion in your head.

If he/she is adding it, others will too. It is always better to specify those things. And this will show that the minority is against GC, while the majority isn't even in the forum because they enjoy the game.

  12. It seems you actually never played any RPG outside of this one. SW:ToR is way to easy to gear up. If you ever played a REAL MMORPG you would find droprates like ~5% for really good gear from a harder boss respawning every 6 to 8 hours. You would find out you need to farm way more of the same enemy than the guy getting Rank 100 in the first 3 days only to get an important drop with a 0,01% chance. Oh and did I mention that - in REAL MMORPGs - your gear can actually BREAK while enhancing it? POOF gone. Start again from zero. Most of those games even sell stuff to make all this chances slightly better.

Try it. You'll crawl back into SW:ToR because you never have seen a real grind with real RNG.
