i have nothing against wow players, never liked the game myself nor played it,
but im tired of playing star wars mmo games that fail by trying to imitate it,
as a star wars fan.
We had a good number of years with companies making wow clones. That is over. Now is the turn to make guild wars 2 clones.

They said that about 1.2, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, 2.0, 2.3, 2.4, 2.5, 2.6 and now 2.7
And yet we are all still here.
I assure you, I and my guild mates won't be once 2.7 arrives, ESO or no TESO. In fact the displeasure has been so big I don't think I could convince a single one to stay even if bioware recovers their senses. Anyway it's all ok. There's still a few servers to merge left.

ToFN is THE server where you can join a 5-0 losing Huttbal and STILL come top medals / objectives for your team.
It is also the server where you can find people joining WZs witht multiple armor pieces missing because "lol who the **** cares"

A more reasonable timeframe for the repop would be around september.-november. Now the question is... will archeage will get in semiopen beta before that?

anyway the only thing that annoys me in lowbies is when I fight a commando who does nothing except spam explosive round and he wins because explosive round crits for 5k in that bracket...
2.7 will do more to kill people away than ESO and wildstar together.

There is no issue here. This is a gear progression game....which is the same for almost EVERY other MMO out there. This is how most MMO's work. You don't like the gear grind? Well then you probably should not be playing MMO's.
Again that is ********. And this is not just a gear grind. This is gear devaluation AND grind. They are stealing your time, money and effort from you to make you do it again. For nothing.

Another tier of gear is fine.
Nerfing obroan to make it conqueror in cost and time, and adding another tier is not fine. It is stealing your effort for nothing than an artificial grind. Count me and my friends out.

MMO's are clearly not for you. Each time a new season starts, a new tier of gear is intorduced. It's always been that way no matter what MMO you play. Yes it's going to suck grinding out new gear, but that's how MMO's roll. You must be new to them.
That's ********. There's plenty of MMOs where this ******** doesn't or didn't happen. But I guess all you know is wow clones.

Another point is that chapter 3 isn't a million miles away. That will likely be an 'expansion' with the level cap increasing to 60. This will make all level 55 gear (remember when EWH got raped) obsolete.

I have a question. With 2.7, they are adding a new set of pvp gear that will be available for ranked comms. Assuming conquerors will go away and the obroan set will be available at reg comm prices. Are we going to need to trade in the obroan gear for the new gear along with the ranked comm price just as we have to now?
If that happens I'll leave the game.
Please do not add the berserker gear in 2.7 or you will see alot of ppl unsubscribing
