  1. The Fact of the matter is that the whole story of the Dread Masters started on imp side as a planet quest chain which then spilled over to every operation before SoR. You ask for a solo method to see the ending yet with out the previous ops you have missed the whole story to begin with. The Dread Masters were the plot of the Operations, Wanna experience their story? Do the Belsavis Imp planet arc than Ev, KP, EC, TFB, S&V, oricon quest then Df, Dp. Dont wanna group with people to know the story behind why you're grouping with people? Then youtube is your friend.
  2. While i understand the pros and cons of the level sync, my main issue is I have no faith the the developers to implement it into the game with out screwing over a few things. What about guards and commanders? Seeker droid and macrobinocular mission areas? Planets with huge difference in levels? We will have to see next week how these will be affected but if they are an issue at launch how long do you think it will be before the devs devote any time to fix them.
  3. When did they change it from 1.5 to 2 secs? I had no problems kiting pre-2.10, but last night was killed be deadly slash more then all attemps pre-2.10 combine. Jumping wasn't working for me either, unless you have to land for the trick to work cause i was knocked backwards alot while i was in the air. Never bothered to look at the cast time before last night cause it was never an issue. It's also possible last night's fail was due to The Harbinger giveing multiple people in the group massive lag spikes, though none occured while we were on council.
  4. I would first like to say that I was the kiter for the epic gaming kill, I'm in guild, and was unaware that our "pug" was not in guild. The only thing I care about was getting a kill pre-nerf and that’s what happened. IMO, this whole debating over kills, even spanning back to Bestia, is a little stupid. I agree that if rules are put in place they should be followed, however, since this is a server progression thread, I feel the rules should be fairly simple (Screenshot of the kill with at least 6 members in guild or on alts). If you want hardcore progression rules then it makes more sense to lock people, not just characters, to one ops group (hard to deny the benifits of haveing members on your raid team who have cleared the op, are running on both sides for gear and experience and possibly have gear from the last boss already). Unfortunately, this would omit most of the kills on our server, my guilds included. However, with such a small amount of NiM groups even around, any kill should be acknowledged instead of a bunch of people calling fowl due to a rule that frankly is a bit confusing. Once again, I care very little if we have an asterisk or not, we got the deposer title and that’s enough of an e-peen booster for me...plus I got the rancor :)
  5. I don't understand the issue. 100% of the Epic gaming kill was done with Epic Gaming members who where on alts that were in different guilds. Would proof of being in the guild be better? Personally i have 16 pub toons and moving them around is a big pain in the ***, so i keep most of them in FiB cause its a good fun guild that has been around along time. My main ops toon is in Epic and has been since mid-NiM DF, the other 3 that were on alts had been in Epic Gaming since the merger with It's Pugable, i think around the time they did Hateful together.
  6. Since Toys become bound upon use, how about making them abilities to save inventory space. I'd like to see a new statue that has token pieces on it, maybe another that has ultimate and elite comm gear similar to Revan statue. It sucks to be in a DP/DF and realize your about capped on comms and have to run to fleet to spend them. Or when you win a token piece that would greatly help you in an OP, but would have to waste 15 min to run to fleet to pick it up.
  7. I'm in the same boat as you, don't pvp, but unfortunately this mount is a great looking mount for the pvp crowd. As much as i want one, the fact that this mount along with the armor will be exclusive to the PVP crowd is not a terrible thing, but will elicit riots from the PVE crowd. PVPers have wanted a bragging right for a long time and this mount will be fairly exclusive. But be warned PVPers, i would almost guarantee that there will be a cartel rancor mount of some sort in the future, possibly a Grob'thok mount from NiM DP.
  8. First off, Happy New Year everyone! I am back in the office now from the holidays so we are right back to some yellow posts :)

Game Update 2.6 first and foremost will mark the launch of Galactic Starfighter! That will mean the introduction of:

    • The Gunship unlock available for F2P players.
    • A new Gunship variant.
    • Two Bomber variants!
    • ...and more! We will talk more about this next week.

Also, Game Update 2.6 will come with a few class changes, here is just an overview of some of what you will see:

    • A fairly significant DPS boost for Operatives/Scoundrels.
    • Mercenaries/Commandos will now have a skill to eliminate pushback on Tracer Missile/Grav Round and Power Shot/Charged Bolts.
    • Sorcerers/Sages will now have a skill to eliminate pushback on Lightning Strike and Force Lightning/Disturbance and Telekinetic Throw.
    • Mercenaries/Commandos can now cast Kolto Shell/Trauma Probe on more than one target at a time.
    • Mercenaries/Commandos can now use Rapid Shots/Hammer Shot on themselves while Combat Support Cylinder/Combat Support Cell are active.

As always, look for the 2.6 patch notes for a full list of all changes that are coming! That is just a preview of what is to come.

If this is it, please don't call it 2.6. These details are the same as 2.5 with different classes getting balances and F2P getting access to Starfighter. Unless you plan on bringing NiM Dread ops, new arenas, warzones or flashpoints, this is no more then a minor update, 2.5.x.
