  1. Play the HM FP's and Operations, then you'll perhaps see more.

    • Being squished like a bug by a certain well known robot in The Foundry because the button you pressed isn't registering and thus he enrages, is fun for the first 5 times.

    • Watching a half a dozen "clones" of players appear in quick succession in D7 never gets old to annoy you.

    • Wiping at Soa in EV, only to find that the floor hasn't actually reset (and thus preventing you from trying again) is downright infuriating.

I have a few friends that have and they havent ran into that.

  2. Atleast in the past Blizzard's releases have been playable, and not hidering you with a massive amount of bugs. Sure, there has been bugs in their releases, but nothing to major imo. SWTOR just has to much buggy crap to be enjoable right now.

Not for everyone. I've never encountered but a handful of bugs.

  3. First of all; I have not reached lvl 50 yet. I am not a supporter of either the people who claims SW:TOR is decreasing or increasing in number, this is just me stating my experince with the population on the server I play on.

I started playing with my character on the Republic side on the European PVP server Legions of Lettow (LoL) - which is one of the most populated SW:TOR servers in EU - about a month and a half ago. I am now lvl 40, so I have been playing very casually.

In the first 2-3 weeks of my playtime I saw an average of 50-110 players on all planets in prime time (yes i visited some of the higher lvl planets aswell). There was around 130-200 on the fleet in prime time. I could easly find a group for Heroics and Flashpoints.

Then i took a break and didn't play for like a week.

When I started playing again - now around 2 weeks ago - I noticed that on Alderaan everytime i logged in there was only around 40 people on the planet, and it took a bit longer to find a group than what I was used to.

I thought to myself that maybe on the lower lvl planets there were just more people, so I tried going back, and around the same number of people as on Alderaan showed on Tython, Courescant and Nar Shadaa..

For the last 4 days I have been playing alot, and I have been checking the prime time numbers of online people on most planets and on the fleet and the numbers are as following:

    On planets: 20-40 (prime time)

On Republic fleet: 80-160 (prime time)

To come to a completely objective conclusion on my personal experince it seems to me that there are fewer people logging in to the game at the same time on THIS PARTICULARLY server (LoL).

If the overall population is in fact decreasing in numbers, then I hope that they'll make fewer servers and put people over to other servers, so one will get the feeling of a massively multiplayer online experince when playing the game, because I for one personally love the game so far.

That's about what I'm seeing and I agree. I tool love the game. It's not dying though IMO it's stabilizing then it will grow a bit.

  4. I'm pulling for this game to be around for a while because I'm really enjoying it and have few complaints. The biggest issue I had was back in Jan with the patch issues.

Certain people go on and on like Bioware is doing absolutely nothing but always leave out the multitude of things they have fixed - access to the game was clearly the major thing to work on.

The population discussion is almost moot since no one has access to actual numbers that can be verified(anyone who thinks their personal experience is indicative of an overall trend is uneducated)

It is possible the game goes the route of SWG and EvE but I'm hoping it goes the route of a serious second place WoW(it would be unlikely and incredible to actually compete with WoW #'s but one can dream :p )

A regular 1-2million subs and I'd be happy once the lfg tool is in place.

    very well put.

  5. Did i pay for 6 months. What was i thinking? This game needs a ton of critical fixes, but the devs arent listening. Fix ilum, fix valor, fix end game content.

    /imstuckhereuntiljune

Yawn. The devs are listening they are fixing issues as fast as possible.

  6. You truly believe that it takes them 11 days just to remove/tone down a flashing light effect? They could do a rollback/hotfix etc. And while I could see these things taking a couple days, 11 days is ludicrous. Instead they've decided to ignore those who find the game currently unplayable and work on an entirely new UI overhaul.

You must not understand coding very well. Rolling back would undo every change that patch did. Also the coding for that is likely intergrated into other codes so simply removing that isn't an option. They are MAKING a solution that applies to EVERYONE not just those affected. Some like the change. Things like this take time. Maybe they can offer reduced prices or something but they certainly aren't ignoring anyone.

  7. Please see

and the MANY other posts about it. Yeah BW is really taking care of them.

I did. so see my post. I lol at those who expected and insta fix. Should they miss game time? No but if the game makes them sick they have to. They are taking them into account simply by fixing it but it's not an overnight thing they can do.

  8. The classes are getting yet another nerf. We're already the worst healers, with the worst thought out abilities (lol Diagnostic Scan), we're the worst dps with no gap closer, and now you're cutting surge down, thus affecting US the most of all the classes. Thanks guys, really, doing a bang up job killing the game all by yourselves.

Surge was never meant to be that powerful. They aren't nerfing or killing anything.

  9. When it comes to things like expansions, I would rather prefer the same amount of effort into the storyline (they also have some dialogue saved up for future expansion).

I believe that the major MMO portions of the game should come from the large patches that occur every one or two months.

    Agreed.
