the issue here isn't the NiM loot. It is the lack of care to the player base. In what world does giving people better stuff for something easy rather than something hard make sense? Getting some 224 to get into NiM is fine and all but if you don't get 224 gear in NiM then what the F is the point other than for achievements that people already got pre 4.0?

There are so many more issues in the game than just NiMs though. I understand that people are upset over this, but that doesn't justify drowning out everything else.
There are.....I welcome those. They need hate spam from everyone. This game has no business going the way it is. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to know that these people are ruining the game slowly and it's stupid. The people who love this game and have been loyal deserve better. We have paid a lot of money over the years and to see it just put into their pockets instead of the game is basically stealing.

I think the flooding of the forums with pissed off people threads is Justice. These Idiots deserve the spam. If General Discussion was filled with the top 50 threads of people telling them off I would be a happy camper right now.

Most of the good players are looking to jump ship as soon as something else comes out that gives them what they want. If nothing changes soon then I will be in the same boat. I can only justify paying money for a game for so long after everything i play the game for no longer exists.

This crap is now pissing me off. After the release of 4.0 i was optimistic. After the announcement of the "Subscriber rewards" i have lost much hope that you people aren't morons that can make good decisions.
As someone that loves the star wars universe. It is becoming harder and harder to stay just because of that. This game is losing its appeal because of horrible decisions by the developers.

Does everything need to be directed at all players? Cant have a companion that wants people to PVP? You know he has feelings too! He wants you to prove your worth to him. If you aren't going to put in the time then he doesn't want to follow you. Ever think of that?

the very definition of the term "anecdotal evidence" implies it ISNT proof due to cherry-picking and using non-representative samples. ironically, you are correct, what you are offering is PRECISELY anecdotal.

LOL, an unscientific poll without proper controls on a fan forum is the best you got.
PS - Wife and I hate the changes and did not vote in the poll.
PPS - It is well established that most player do not visit the forum and those that do are not a representation of the player base in general.
How else am I to gather Data? To go around and ask each and every person if they like the changes?

I already posted some. But that's why I know the argument is pointless.
It doesn't take much to look at that companion poll and see the overwhelming majority thus far voted that companions should stay the same. It doesn't make much more than time to tally up all the positive posts in the SWTOR Subreddit and see that the majority are on board with comps and level sync. That in and of itself is actually feedback and data.
So if they are going to reject that completely out of hand, it shows there is no proof good enough for them. That doesn't mean there isn't proof mind you - just that even if BioWare hand delivered me the results with the seal of Musco, provided for all the forums to see, they still would find a way to dismiss it as not actually proof.
Because they don't want proof. Proof is their enemy. They want to rage. They want to be right. And it only further enrages them the more that comes out that proves they aren't right. Hence the hostility and denial.
I already know there is nothing I can say or do to "prove it" to the people who reject actual anecdotal and corollary proof. At this point, I've said what I need to say, and the people who are upset aren't truly upset because I am not offering proof. No, deep down, though they will never admit it, they are upset because they know I am right, and the game as they want it isn't coming back.

The fact that they have yet to give any proof of their claims further proves your claims. So if proof equals no proof than no proof equals proof. So much proof to talk about and not enough proof at the same time.

The fact that many people are saying it's perfectly easy if you aren't utterly useless means there's a balancing issue.
Heroic two man, don't you get it?
there is an achievement for soloing the heroic 2+.
That means it was intended to be done solo. Don't you get it?

Ok so half this thread is about Companions. Companion Poll Forum post has data stating that a Majority of the people like them as is.

i found the results of the companion poll quit surprising but then again video game players aren't notorious for giving up "power" in games. furthermore how is a single poll at a single forum a good representation of all players? and companion strength aside, where is your evidence about level sync?
There is more data that proves him right. If you would be so kind as to provide data to prove him wrong?
