It's so hard being a GS now. I don't even bother with arenas and once a single sorc or PT gets on my in a regular WZ its GG.

I average about 1400dps with DF. The spec is great as long as people don't realize you are shooting them. Once a sorc or PT gets on you its RIP.
We NEED more mobility and/or survivability.

Snipers are good until people realize you are there then our terrible mobility gets us **** on. Meanwhile sorcs can DPS harder, have more survivability and mobility.

I have fun on my slinger until I realize sorcs have better damage, survivability and mobility.

I don't even know why I bother on my GS. Sorcs do more damage and are mobile.

Technically, yes. It doesn't apply a status effect though.

I never rolled a sniper for pvp. And after playing her for awhile, I realized snipers suck in pvp. Not that they suck as a class. But theyre obviously not built for pvp. And with the AoE nerf, Im soo not thrilled.

I keep having a lot of voidstars (which I hate, especially on my shadow).
Ditto 8 of 10 last night were VS.

Point is that next pvp-patch you will not have to re-do you gearing work, your stats will be auto updated.
And people with x chars can jump to play ranked ( with any of theirs geared up toons
) in teams and solo rather then do the gearing work.So someone who was around for old gear gets the new stuff but someone who is new to the game doesn't. Aside from that, whats the point of even releasing new gear then?

Exactly no p2w here.
You must get your own full obroan set ( for each toon separately ), then minimax it as you want and only after you can convert your hard earned ranked gear into a permanent ranked topgear.
I propose to cut the repetition.
If compare current state of grinding to leveling then it is like every new pvp related patch you have to lvl up from 1 to 55 all way up again.
I don't see the point in this at all if you still need to get full Obroan for all chars.
