  1. I often get called a baddie, even though at t he end ive got the most medals and most dmg.

    I never vote for top damage... I don't consider spamming AOEs to get high damage skill. I don't look that much at medals either, because everyone knows who has played a sorc/sage or tank can get 8 medals in the first 2 mins if a game by doing F all

  2. You need to L2Interrupt because healers are fine.

     

    They do go OOM, but most are smart enough not to. Plus, different healers = different energy mechanics. The only one who's probably a bit overpowered regarding energy management is maybe the Commando - my friend's got one and he roflstomps...most players just "give up" after not being able to kill him.

     

    But my scoundrel, and both our sorcs, are shut down by interrupts. Do you know what an interrupt is? You have a separate interrupt skill, but then you also have pushbacks, pulls, grenades, mezz, stun, all these things interrupt the currently channeled skill.

     

    If you take away the healer's ability to cast the largest skills, then he will eventually die. Unless you're 1v1'ing a scoundrel below 30% health and he has an upperhand, then he spams emergency medpac - so call a friend and dps him down :)

     

    I think we found a bad healer here haha trying to save his class getting a nerf... Seriously healing is out of control right now and to prove it just look how many healers u see in every game didn't see that 6 months ago..

  3. It has been 8-9 months since any significant changes were made to PVP. We were promised content "shortly after" 2.0 and are now setting at an October release date for 2.4, the patch cited to contain improvements to PVP.

     

    This is a petition to request that Bioware give us the details of that patch, rather than simply teasing us with the promise of content as they have so harshly done for the past half year. Most of us stay loyal to this game because we enjoy the PVP, but many are leaving and will continue to leave until new features are implemented.

     

    We need arenas. We need 4v4 content. We need a ranked season. We don't need a single new WZ.

     

    Please Bioware, enlighten us and give PVPers a reason to stay subbed. Tell us what we can expect from 2.4 and please do not be purposefully vague. Stop taking for granted your PVP fanbase.

     

    DISCLAIMER : Those that sign in this thread are not under the expectation that any details revealed will be guaranteed and set in stone. We understand the problems with over promising. However, what we need to know is what is in the works and what the expected outcome is.

     

    We don't need Arena's not intill they fix the classes.... Coz I'm sure everyone is going to want to spend a hour in arenas 2v2 healer/tank... It won't be like wow.. If u want 2v2 Arena's play wow. That's what I do. There will be more qqing then ever once they bring in arenas... People realizing there not as good as they think they are, healers never dying etc etc.. So I hope they don't bring arenas in at all

    Actually, I do earn and pay for everything I do thats SWTOR related. I pay for the phone bill that houses my Security Key, I pay for my subscription, per month, I also pay for any Cartel Purchases I make as well. You know whats really painful to read about though? Folks who don't know how to use the quote, or the spoiler tags correctly. Thats really painful to read. And truth be told I actually did go out and do dailies to purchase the dyes I wanted to use.

     

    So, I'll ask you anything else you'd like to add or are you done trying to deride a thread with a legit complaint/concern?

     

    Now, again I'll take the time to state this for the devs. Yes I KNOW this thread is extremely aggressive, and honestly I don't enjoy griping or complaining on your forums, its not fun for me or you and it doesn't make me feel like a nice person at the end of the day. Ask around my guild, typically I'm the most comical around and am always trying to lighten the mood. I do apologize for what might seem to be extreme hostility in this thread, I'm sorry I've had to resort to that, but what can I do when I enjoy your game and am trying to get you to listen to not just me, but 95% of the people who have posted in this thread alone. 290+ posts about this subject, some of them good, some of them bad.

  5. The sheer amount of shock and anger I feel for Bioware right now.

     

    Your telling me I need a full set of whatever items I already own to unlock it via collections? ***?

     

    I coulda sworn one of your goons did an interview with Dulfy over this system "Items will be bound individually yadayada, Revans mask to name one."

     

    My example is this:

    I bought the Eradicators Set, disliked and/or didn't need the belt or bracers at the time and sold them on the GTN for some extra creds right? Right, so 2.1 rolls out and apparently Bioware has gone back on their word.

     

    I'll be damned if I buy another set off the market of the SAME item to unlock it for my entire account, who the HELL thought this was a brilliant idea? Did you not think your players would mix an match set pieces on characters to create a truly individual look? Is this not the point of 'customizing' your characters? To create a unique look?

     

    No, instead of doing that Bioware, you went for the gosh darn cash cow manuever yet again, first the gambling packs, then the gambling DYE packs, now the limitations for the collection system.

     

    So, with all that anger out of my system, I'd like to formally start a petition to do the following:

    1) Unlock Items you ALREADY own and have their OWN unlock cost.

    Example: You purchase the legs and boots of the Erad set, and nothing else, a new version of the collection menu allows you to buy JUST those items for unlock throughout your entire account.

     

     

    If you have any constructive ideas, throw them in here as well. If you feel like sticking up for Bioware and saying this current system is so amazing yadayada, well I doubt you'll find much sympathy in this thread.

     

    Eric Musco and Cory Butler, complicit in mishandling, misleading and otherwise giving a false answer to their customer base, fansite editor(s) regarding how 2.1's Collection System would be handled.

     

    No wonder no one from Bioware apologized, or bothered to answer this thread, your actions speak louder than words.

  6. What diagnostic scan :confused: that channels faster then the main heal of operative, control yourself and interrupt the right ability .... Are you a clicker ?

  7. I think most of us have a healer now & with a little bit of gear, its bad arse. Lets not make out you haven't seen a op or sorc getting focused by 3-4 dps while the healer is just standing there healing through it and still getting a \wave in.

    Plus when u kick a spell/heal getting casted, it's not like other MMO's and stopping a spells being cast in that tree, they just use another heal.

     

    I don't think they should nerf any healing class or abilities, because that would effect PVE , but healing ATM is to much in PVP. No one likes playing when no one dies or very little & of course alot of healers are going to say there fine or need a buff, but it does kill good competition

    So I suggest decrease the amount of healing on expertise, start by reducing it by 5% and monitor it for a couple weeks to see if its enough.

  8. Your never going to get rid of premades..... But they can do what WoW did a couple years ago when they had the exact same issue...

    They have to make it that premades try to find other premades to fight. This works well & if u run premades u can actually have fun instead of steam rolling a pug & if u are a pug u have less chance to play against a premade.

     

    It does work well & if any person who likes being in a premade steam rolling pugs all day complains. There no pvper & should go back playing the Xbox

  9. I am currently in all partisan with both Conqueror lightsabers and the Conqueror chest and boots. With a WZ stim and inspiration popped I'm criting for 6.7 - 6.8k maximum and my Dispatch (saber throw) does about the same. Without inspiration I'm criting for 6.4 on a regular basis. Now if I was maxed out in Firebrand with full augments, stim and inspiration I could see some doing 9k, but that might even be reaching a bit. People that are doing damage in the MILLIONS are EXPLOITING BOLSTER!!!

     

     

    You're complaining about a pure DPS/DMG class doing what it's supposed to do. YES this is a heavy hitting class, but it IS NOT over powered and can be countered in many different ways. I'm sick of people acting like it's the best class and is unstoppable! I warzone daily and see many other classes top the damage and kill charts all the time legitamatley..

    A Jugg is not a pure dps class.. You can spec for tanking... A Mara/sent or a sniper/ gunslinger is a pure dps meaning they can't spec healing or tank

  10. So what is 2.0 doing to make teams with 3 healers cross healing each other beatable by teams that have less healers?

     

    I don't think they are doing anything so healing is still the key to winning warzone matches. I personally think something should be done. Chasing healers around that are being cross healed by each other isn't fun and doesn't feel competitive.

  11. BioWare, tone down healing.

     

    Every warzone is filled up with healers because nowadays it's the amount of healers, that matters in winning or loosing a warzone.

     

    2 healer per team are horrible, because you can't even deal enough damage to kill them ( especially if one of them is guarded ). 3 healer - don't think about killing ANYONE of the opponents team.

     

    Who the hell has been in the position for the 2.0 PvP balance? It's just horrible.

     

    The amount of mass-healing ( especially group heals & HoT's ) is so overwhelming, that it's horrible. You just need one healer to defend a position against 2 DD's - run around and heal like an idiot and he will survive "eternally" until there will be enough friends to help or enemies to kill him. That can't be the sense of PvP.

     

    A good healer right now can outheal 2 DD's - I can. And I think it's ridiculous. As soon as there are 2 / 3 healers in a team, you can't kill anybody. What's the sense of 1 healer = 2 DD's? It's laughable.

     

    And please, don't argument with focus the healers - yeah, sure, focus 1 / 2 healer, no problem. There are dozens of ways they can protect themselves. Annoying Sorcs / Sages throwing shields like their crazy, Barrier that makes them invulnerable until they got healed completely, Guard, the ticking HoT's.

     

    It's horrible.

     

    Scale down effective healing in PvP for roughly -30% - I don't know even if that would be enough.

     

    Right now PvP is all about the amount of healers you got and that's just dumb.

  12. Seriously its getting old now... how hard is it to fix this god mode u gave healers.... Fix bolster, reduce healing done on expertise, grp pre mades with pre mades - ( I do alot of pre mades & would actually want a challange )

     

    But healing is screwed up right now a couple heals on Both teams and no one Dies & most the game its a stale mate... How is this fun

     

    Plz look at Healing done in Pvp, copy wow serioisly, u have in the past

  13. I'm sure healers are going to say there fine or need a buff etc, but I'm sure people have already noticed, killing healers is out of control. Seeing a healer stand there while 3 dps are attacking him and he can even get in /wave to everyone haha really. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying nerf them. Ops are just about impossible to kill & the only class that actually dies is commando/ merc healers, proberly why you don't see many.

     

    Rated Wz are just going to stack heals so no one ever dies. I think maybe they should look at expertise & the healing .. They should still be viable and hold there own & survive to a point But they should also die when 3 dps are attacking them.

     

    Expertise change seems like a easy to change healing that won't nerf a class and not effect pve healing

  14. As the title says, how are people calculating dps without a combat log or any type of add on like recount.. I see alot of threads about this is the best spec and use this rotation etc... How do they actually know this or are they just using the force ha and guessing coz they saw a big number... Or are there people who have no time on there hands and done up spread sheets with all the maths... Which we all know from wow is a good guide but not always right.
  15. I'd love more class story and more companion storylines, but you're a little late to the party. They said awhile back that Makeb would have faction-specific storylines rather than class-specific storylines. They've also said in multiple dev interviews several weeks ago that they plan to continue doing faction-specific stories instead of class-specific stories (although never say never). From their point of view, the development cycle would be way too long and costly on new content because they'd be doing 8 sets of storylines and quests instead of 2. I'm sure a lot of us would like more class stories, but it's very doubtful.

     

     

    Pretty much, there going the cheap why out, why spend lots of money making a ton of class quests, when you can just have one main stream one..... Its a Shame, this was the One Top selling point to many people

  16. The Biggest Fail, EA have done... IS there is NO ADVERTISING in Australia for this game... What sort of bussiness model are you running..

    Seriously, there is such a market here, but no one knows.. You have the only MMO with a Server based in Australia. So low Latency. Not like WoW and the rest which have Alantic Servers, which are based over in the USA.

    People would love to play a MMO with Low latency, and you could have the market but no one Knows..

     

    So Adverstise, get the word out so the APAC/Oceanic servers dont die

Hey, I've been seeing a lot of posts lately about skilled players wanting better gear due to their superiority, and I see a lot of people say "No, then you will have advantage over me, and gear>Skill in this game". Others will say "I am not that good, so why give better players then me even better gear then I have?"

     

    Answer to guy no. 1: If you are actually hindered killing the guy because he has better gear than you, but you claim you would beat him if everyone had the same gear, why don't you just grind the high rated gear youself?

     

    Answer to guy no. 2: If you suck and are getting owned already as it is, then what difference does it make to you anyway?

     

    Everyone is happy, give us good players gear to work for, rather than just to grind endless hours for. And don't give it to people who aren't good enough. Hell, even, make like Vanilla times, give only a RARE number of the best ones a supre rank with "Rank 14 PvP gear".

     

    Any takers?

     

    Haha the way I see it. A lot a people think there awesome at pvp will proberly have a shock if Arenas ever came in. It's a no win situation everyone's going to complain about something, me I don't like the way the Jedi is looking at me on the loading screen.

  18. Stunned -> Resolve bar full -> Break CC -> temporary immunity from next CC.

     

    Only use your CC break when resolve is full or when it's a matter of life and death (or if you can stop a cap, etc) - but never use it on break-on-damage CCs (eg whirlwind/force lift, smoke gernades, etc). Unless you can stop a capper etc. Basic rules of thumb.

     

    On the offensive, start with your break-on-damage CC and you will be suprised at how many people use their CC break on it.

     

    It's worse for melee than range, but the resolve bar can be full and sometimes you still get stunned. Also if you are still alive and your resolve is full you pop ur trinket what do you get like 3 seconds before your stunned again. The system is broken and needs to be improved if you can't see that play another class at high lvl besides a healing sage

  19. The resolve bar is broken and there's been many posts about it. Only tanks can live till its full unless you have a nice heal bot, there are crazy amount of cc, stuns, blinds roots in this game with some classes worse then others. It would be wishful thinking for you guys to remove some from the game because that class would be Qging across the forums.

     

    There's been a lot of good ideas in these forums how to improve (fix) the resolve bar, you guys seriously need to have a look because being stunned, cc 80% of a WZ is not fun it's not rewarding and with the amount of cc in this game it's not even using your skill. You never know but you might even stop some nerf posts about a certain class
