  1. At the recent Vancouver Cantina Tour stop I was talking with one of the developers about this and he seemed surprised that this chest didn't have a dye slot already and thinks it's probably a bug. So I'm here to report it. :)

At first glance this doesn't seem to make much sense but, as it stands, if I want to use this chest but have a certain dye then I have to buy that dye for every other piece of gear since there's nothing to "unify" to. Obviously, putting a dye module into the invisible chest won't do anything for the chest but it'll allow me to unify the rest of my gear to it.

    End of line.

Yes, please! The lack of dye slot in the Covert Chest seems like an oversight. It would be nice if the dye slot there also affected the color of the female sports bra look that female characters have when using the Covert Chest.

  2. More hairstyles in general would be greatly appreciated. I'd love to see the "new" human hairstyles made available to other species with hair, and to get lots more hairstyles in general. In particular, we have a horrible selection for characters who, in the real world, would be played by actors of African descent. Where are the Afros and dreads for women?

But, yeah, more hairstyles = more Cartel purchases = win for all.

  3. I agree with the OP almost entirely! We need many, many more female top options along the lines of the Sensuous Dress, say, that are sexy without being trashy. Trashy has its place, and I'm glad it's an option in the game, but how 'bout some stuff that says "sexy and classy" as well?

    • NOT a boring solid-color T-shirt that covers everything, because that goes too far in the other direction and looks casual / lazy / lounging around on Sunday.

This is the one bit I disagree with -- simply because I'd like to see that basic T-shirt. We don't have anything like that yet. If you want a look that says "lazy Sunday," all you have to go with is the ugly sports bra look of the Covert Energy Torso. I'd love to see something like the tank top used on the new Lara Croft model, for instance:

This would be in addition to the stuff the OP wants, of course. But "lazy Sunday skimpy" is a look we need just as much as classy skimpy. :)

  4. We need all sorts of additional character customization options. It's been, what, 4 months since the barbershop went live, and little has been done with it. I would have thought new customizations would be as frequent as new cartel packs. In fact, they could put them in cartel packs! I think they'd be more popular than jawagrams :p So much potential! Hair styles, facial hair, hair color, tattoos, complexions, skin color, make up, piercings, scars. This would take very little dev. time to implement. Come on! Variety is the spice of life!

I love the idea! Replace Jawagrams with character customization unlocks. Or, to avoid angering Jawagram enthusiasts, just add new character customization options to the packs without removing anything. I love this idea.

  5. I can`t belive that the only two of us needs more option in this ,,,,

You're not alone. Why can't other races have facial hair? It makes sense for some: maybe Sith Purebloods just can't genetically grow beards. But I thought about making a Miraluka male last night and changed my mind when I found he couldn't have a mustache as I wanted. It makes no sense to reserve facial hair to humans (and Cathar, technically).

  6. With some recent additions to the Cartel Market, BioWare has given us some great stuff to make "barbarian"-themed characters. The Vintage Brawler Harness, the Relaxed Vestments chest piece, and Dart Sion's Pauldron are all really nice for that savage warrior look. But we lack something important to complete the ensemble: barbarian underwear!

I'm serious here. Think of all the archetypical barbarians (or other savage warriors) from fiction who wear underwear to the fight. Here are some examples:

    Old-school Spartacus: http://www.underwearexpert.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/warrior-underwear-spartacus2.jpg

    New-school Spartacus: http://www.underwearexpert.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/warrior-underwear-spartacus.jpg

    Leonidas the Spartan: http://www.underwearexpert.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/warrior-underwear-leonidas.jpg

    He-Man: http://withfriendship.com/images/h/39364/reference-image.jpg

    And the #1 barbarian underwear-wearer, Conan! http://www.underwearexpert.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/warrior-underwear-conan.jpg

There are many more. How 'bout it, BioWare? Our barbarian warriors need your help to make them truly awesome!

  7. So I took a look at it in game earlier today in Collections Preview.

    Couple of "surprises"

    1) It has dye slots. That was a surprise. Don't like the boots or gloves.. so I'd swap them out with Mandalore Preservers and then slap Primary Deep Purple on the set. Looks awesome. DarkBlue/LightBrown works well too.

    2) The cape will not take dye.. must be on a tertiary texture. That sucks IMO...but I have seen that before on some other CM gear.. so I guess not a real surprise.

There are still some bugs in the previewed armor, so I wouldn't be surprised if the dye slots disappear before we get the cartel pack version of this. Other bugs: the Retro Combatant Armor (or whatever it's called -- looks like what He-Man wears) includes a butt cape that takes on the same color as your character's skin tone (almost certainly a bug), and the skull mask thing makes Twi'lek headtails disappear completely. Hopefully these will be fixed before release!

  8. This is a great question. Mira's Headband clipping into the head of Body Type 1 female characters is being fixed as a separate bug. We have it tracked internally and will be working through it with other Cartel Market item fixes. It's been added to the Known Issues along with the one we're fixing for 2.3.3.

Although they're separate bugs, we'll continue to track and post any needed communication in this thread.

    :ph_cheers:

Great, thanks for the update, Amber.

  9. Mira's Headband has been fixed for Game Update 2.3.3 such that it no longer becomes distorted when dead or riding a mount/vehicle.

Was the clipping fixed, too? Female, Body Type 1, Mirialan - the thing disappears quite often into my character's forehead.

  10. I agree completely.

Most areas look great - I love what you've done to the Imperial Fleet & Voss, but please take another look at Hoth. If you tilt your camera up the sky looks white and you pretty much go snow blind. It is eye blindingly white and makes you want to shade your eyes and grab a pair of sunglasses. I love Hoth's appearance so I really hope the artists take another look there and tone it down a bit so we can squint less when we're there.

Thanks for the changes in the other areas though! So far the ones I have visited look fine apart from Hoth.

I came to this thread to say pretty much the same thing. Hoth is now a study in contrasts between pure white and pure blue. I like this change in most other instances, but on Hoth, it doesn't work. Please take another pass, BW!

  11. was kind of waiting for one of those.

    It came.

And it clips all over the place.

    :(

I've noticed this as well. It even clips pretty badly with the rest of the Regal armor set. I've never really gone for robes and dresses in the game before, but this piece had me excited to try out some new character concepts. Is this a broader issue with robes/dresses/etc.? Or is this problem unique to the Regal Miniskirt?
