I don't really come on forums to post.
But i have been seeing a lot of chat and so so on. On the internet about the state of 50 pvp on SWTOR i have been here since day 1 and i have seen armor sets come and go things been buffed things been nerfed higher players getting punished again and again.
Now that i think a lot still needs to be done i think bioware sometimes goes the wrong way about it ! ?
for one maybe stop hitting the higher farmed players and think of ways to make it more appealing for newer players. I know they did this with recruit gear !
See how i see it i do not really think expertise is a big issue ! CC shields and smashers etc may be a bigger problem but maybe ill save that for another post if this one goes down well.
Now this is what i think could work most people that want to PvP in a MMO PvP from day 1 why not lift the lvl cap of valor and comms at the moment a lvl 17 player can get valor only of his rank 17 and 2750 comms. why not let them get a valor cap to 25 or something and maybe higher limit of comms then when he hits 25 it goes higher and so on ?.
For me i fill this will work as when the PvP player hits 50 he/she could have a valor of 70 and enough comms saved for his war hero gear. Or whatever is of that nature once they get there now we know there is not much difference from war to elite now. So it would make those players less likely to come on a forum and moan and it keeps the players that worked there socks of for there gear more less likely to moan that they are getting punished once again.

I have to disagree. In terms of PVE difficulty endgame they've done allot. One of the OP's gripes was that endgame was too "easy". The new hm flashpoint is the hardest 4/5 man instance I've seen in an MMO. The first boss in-particular is pretty hard. I haven't done the new raid planning on it tomorrow, but from what I've heard and watched its pretty damn difficult. PVP is having problems. It's hard to get things balanced especially this early. I remember Rift had a ton of balance issues with pvp. That'll just take time. If you play this game for PVP, leave and dont come back for a while, or stay and accept things won't be balanced for a while. I think the Legacy system is an innovative way to encourage alts. So if your into alts its pretty sweet.

You say rift heard of it not played is that any good for PvP watched a few vids on youtube im on the fence with that 1 lol.

Cheers for all the feedback. Some really good points !!!! im at my rents this weekend but i think ill give it a bash to try the new ops. If PvP is still really bad then i think i may just use the free 30 days like someone else said.

How's someone else supposed to know what you are wanting to see in the game? I'm not trying to be snarky but it's completely up to you whether things that were missing or annoying are in now and/or fixed.
Read the boards, check out class boards, check the patch notes (they are LONG). Then you can decide for yourself.
I just want honest opinions.
I left cause it was to easy servers were dead rolled 3 times on 3 diff servers fps issues with a half decent computer. Pvp was bland
like i said not trolling has the problems been fixed u say read the patch notes in every patch note before it said u could abandon quest and in every patch it was never fixed !"

Moved of 1 server that died. Now this server im on is dropping
dnt wanna make another char on another server plz can we merge servers soon. Or if a merge is to complicated char transfers. We are paying customers after all

So once again, you take servers down on a friday night at 9pm during oceanic prime time for 4 hours for a patch. I mean what the hell!!!!
How many americans do you have on at say 8am or 6am friday morning? You need to select a new time because the current one is *********** awful.

That card wont fly anymore, has been told countless times. When you release something in 2012 you have to be ready to have it compared to 2012 standards, not "when WoW launched the TV was still black and white". Ridiculous amount of content, you are right there, its ridiculous that after the long run of WoW, they dropped this game with so lil amount of content, not to mention the leveling experience wich allows you to be max lvl in 1 week /played.
Either way, you dont seem to be all that bright to understand my post so, not going to hold my breath.

they need to give more medals for objectives you can do alot of objectives and still come near bottom they need to think outside of the box you would think.
I myself am an objective player but alot of people in this game arnt ! and it ruins the pvp element

He does have no reason to. They are fixing the game. You really think people at lvl 50 want to wait an entire week without being able to do anything? This is something that is a major game stopping bug for a ton of people. The servers go down at the SAME time all the time. I dont get what the issue is. So you cannot get on till midnight then oh well too bad for you. Most people can get on while the servers are up.
You sir only think about your self what about europe players that have 4 hours on a tueday they cant get on and then another 4 hours a couple of days after i myself work so i get tues day and thursdays off so i like some gaming time while kids are at school at moment thats not happening.
They need to ulternate the patch times so europe players and USA get same hour downtime a month

Right after playing a few more games with my maurder and hating this UI at 1st.
I changed my contrast and changed gamma in game and now i seem to have gotten a feel for it.
now im not trolling and im not saying this and that. And i understand if you have a condition if it gives you migrans etc.
But before everyone shouts n shouts some people try adjusting contrast and coulours on pc and adjusting gamma in game in graphic options and u MAY jus find a fix that suits you.

Looks fine to me. People just wanna ***** and complain about everything. If you think its that bright, its your issue. Turn down the brightness on your monitor. Or wear shades.

In the United States it is spelled Tire. Not being able to see a highlighted number that is only a fraction brighter than it originally was does not make me blind or stupid. Actually, ones ability to see has no correlation to their intelligence, so you sir, are the ignorant one for calling me stupid.
I have 20/20 vision, I can only imagine how other people that have lesser vision can see your amazingly HUGE LIT UP MAGICAL NUMBERS!

That's bollox. I'm a Sentinel and as a Marauder you should know that certain abilities reset others. As it is now, you can't tell **** apart until the GCD is over. Do you PvP at all? If so then you would know that you trigger abilities BEFORE the GCD is over, as in, queue them.
I agree im maurder class and now im spamming and jus canceling out abilities in use its beyond irratating

I agree i cant see what abilites are ready and what 1s are not.
it looks to me as all dark so i dont know when to hit the button at mo im jus spamming to hope that that spell is castible.

thanks for the feedback and no trolling. As the last person said im experiencing all of that no force choke not working smash not casting as soon as i press button and so on.
It is very frustrating i think i may have 2 deal with it and then do what the 1st person said and get used to it lol

Hi there ive just got to lvl 30 on my maurder and i must say its harder thn sniper to play !!!! but i am enjoying it.
My only problem im getting is my spells wont cast even if im stood right in front of my target im getting cannnot see target message come up 50 60 per cent of the time.
Is it me or is it flawed. Is anyone elese getting this aswell ?

Ah dint realise m8 soz been along time i been 50 to long with 1 char just made a new char and saw how comms and valor worked. But thanks for info !
