  1. I think pretty much everyone can certify they have run in this kind of situation lately.

You came upon some neat phat loot, you pressed the Need button... but some other person in your group, who cannot equip that kind of gear, or does not necessarily has the stats for it, will still Need it for its companion.

How enraging is that when you lose the item to someone else's NPC character?

I suggest the implementation of a Companion Need button on rolls. The Companion Need would be higher in priority than greed, but lower in priority than regular Need.

So if no one is "reg-needing" the item, whoever "companion-needed" the item will get it.

The other issue to be adressed is class related gear. People should not be able to roll need on class specific gear. Companion Need can still work... but seeing Need gets the higher priority you see how it works :p

    I agree with this

  2. What they need to do is... let me store my materials in my ships storage and teach my companions how to open it. This crap about me having to carry the materials on my body, for a companion who crafts on my ship is ridiculous.

I keep my mats in the cargo hold and my guys can craft from it...

  3. What I find hilarious is to see these individuals type the game is a fail, and then state in the next sentence they are here to help make the game better.

I think I will adopt this method in my relationships.

Me "I am here for the long haul dear, I want this to be the best relationship EVA!!"

Significant Other "That is wonderful dear, could you take the trash out for me?"

Me "THAT'S IT! I AM OUT OF HERE!!!"

I've not stated that the game is fail. I am disappointed in the graphics department, but overall I like the game and am sticking with it for a while longer to see how it progresses. It's still in it's first month and I expect things to be messed up right now.

  4. I feel like I have been conned. The graphics in game are nothing like the screenshots.

Bioware should be ashamed for this blatant deception.

I still play World of Warcraft now and then and it saddens me that a 7 year old game looks better than a new release hot off the press.

I see where you are coming at, and I am also disappointed by the graphics. That's a bad comparison though. WoW's graphics aren't the same as they were 7 years ago. Pretty much every patch has a graphics update file contained within, even if it isnt expressly stated,

  5. That's not what was said at all, unless reading comprehension is a foreign term to you.

They said that they turned off high res to help keep things running smooth. No need to bash on me, I like the game and will continue to play it, I was just disappointed with their response to it,

  6. They will never make this because this is a form of racism to single out players and punish them for enjoying biowares game.

I hope you realise how much of a bigot your coming off as.

Racism? not quite. Sorry. If you choose to skip or not skip, it is not a race. None of this is bigoted. I do feel he has the wrong idea about an mmo, but if he is explicitly stating while forming the group, no cutscenes, then people should respect that too. The problem with an addon like that though would be, people who form groups that don't want cutscenes, but don't say anything about it (I.e wow dungeon finder, you run into a lot of disrespectful people), would abuse it.
