  1. I hope that's actually 31-0-10. I usually open with Slow Time to Force Breach to Project to DS until Particle acceleration procs or project's cooldown is finished. Then once I'm stacked with 3 harnessed shadows, hit TK Throw. I always make sure that all my cool down abilities are used when their CDs are finished.
  2. So we have a new round of weeklies starting today. I'm not sure if I can finish them up before Thursday. Will the current progress remain and just provide the different quest rewards when we turn them in on Thursday?
  3. I never saw the point of leaving...you still need to play WZ's to collect your 30/150 armaments. So why leave? Getting slaughtered? Ok, stay, do what you can, farm your 4 medals then wait for the match to end. You get your comms, your 3 armaments, and you don't look like a jerk.
  4. Fatman has it's Days. Last night I played 10 games to get my 30 Ilum marks, won 1 game. The other night, did the same thing, won 7. The consistency is shakey. Granted I mostly solo queue. You get into a Pre-made and someone actually stands out and takes control and it's a guaranteed win. People need to learn to listen to a leader.
  5. I've read that they intend to remove the Biochem level requirements on high level Stims/Adrenals/Medpacks. Does anyone know if this is true and if they implemented this for patch 1.2? I have a 400 Biochemist but if the requirements are dropped, I may go Synthweaving.
  6. So I rolled a Smuggler last night because I want a ranged character. Trooper seems kinda boring and I hear the Smuggler story is fantastic. I mainly (read that as only) pvp at this time and I'd like to know what a better option post 1.2 would be. I'm also curious what the major changes 1.2 brings to the smuggler since I'm not used to the class.

I already have a Battlemaster Shadow so I'm well versed in stealth combat, which could give me an advantage with a Scoundrel. On the other hand, a dual blaster wielding gunslinger sounds fun too.

  7. I was topping damage and medal (worthless I know) charts when I was under 20. Your argument is invalid. The stat boost the helps level the playing field from 10-49 is very fair. Nothing like taking out a 40+ as a level 15. Rare, yes, but still fun.

Does PVP truly start at 50? That's up for debate, but PVP is supposed to be fun. You're going to suck when you don't have a lot of skill points but it's still fun to try. Some of my favorite PVPing was done in my 20's once I started getting more core skills.

  8. I have a 50 Shadow that's my main but eventually (after I'm war hero geared) I'll want to make an alt. So I'm curious, what would be a good class that's just plain fun to play/level/pvp with? I'm not asking for superiority with one class vs another, I don't want to turn this into a balance fight. I just want to know what you enjoyed playing?

I'm leaning more towards a ranged fighter but I'll listen to all.
