  1. Just finished a wz where one of your players cost us the game. He was guarding a door, didnt call out for help or anything and when the bomb was planted (voidstar) he was fighting way off node chasing down a 1v1... I pay close attention to what other players do especially guilds that claim to be pvp guilds. :(

I wouldnt want to be judged for the actions of someone else but when you claim to be a pvp guild that has RWZ potential and then a member is seen doing this, it says something about the standards.

...That's quite a bit of qq for a scrub like you, btw.

  2. He's gone, anyway, wanted to say good match tonight. We dont want that hot head reflecting poorly on my guild and our guild name. Good matches guys, you whooped us.

See you out there next time

...sounds like you enjoyed them penetrating you, a tad too much.

  3. I will be in the Imperial Fleet Cantina tonight from 8-9 EST to give all you lesser players a chance to be near greatness. There are no autographs in the game, of course, but I will allow you to take a few screen shots with me, provided you pay me some credits. For those of you on the Republic side, there's no need to be jealous. I'll have my Sage in the Republic Fleet Cantina from 9-10 EST on Saturday, although I will charge a slightly higher fee for screenies, as you generally qq moar on the Pub sides during warzones. Thanks isn't necessary, as this is the kind of thing I do to help the Swtor community. Congratulations on your opportunity.
  4. I thought it might be fun to have some guild wars declared in the FFA area to create some added fun. No rewards, just bragging rights. Same faction and cross faction wars encouraged.

Only issue I see: while you can't single target guildies for dps, aoe attacks will damage guildies and other enemies alike. Likewise healers can ONLY heal party members. That being said, it'll be your guilds choice how to handle this.

So who's in? Any challenges against D F R? Let's make this event more interesting.

    ...I like samiches.

  5. Is it just me.. or have you guys noticed that there r a heck of a lot more baddies (especially on the imp side) in WZs over the last couple weeks. Is it the simple fact that a lot of the f2p and new accounts r reaching 50 and havent figured out really how to play their class yet? I mean it's becoming a pandemic of bad players/pvpers getting into every wz I play. A typical WZ in the past might have had 1-2 bads on average, but lately its closer to 3-4 in each group that don't do dmg, dont do objective, dont do anything useful at all.

I know the bads dont frequent the forums..hell i dont frequent the forums often.. so I am not gonna bother calling out specifics or giving advice, just wanted to call attention to this outbreak of contagious badness that seems to be lingering around Prophecy of Five.

...Actually you are the one that's bad. You're just grouping with moar people on your skill level.

  6. More players roll imperial side. Thus, more noobs, FTP, and/or inexperienced players w/bad gear VS. pubs who are often long time vets on their geared alts.

And for some reason, pubs usually have more healers while imps often don't have any. This goes for lvl 50 wz's as well.

^^^^^...This. I'm leveling my first pub now and have thoroughly enjoyed the fact we have less players and are always fighting imp teams. I have no idea what everyone is talking about gear though. It's fairly simple for any noob to spend wz comms on the standard pvp gear from the vendors. There's no real secret to it.

  7. ...stay mobile, know your big combo, and keep a heal handy. That will keep you top 3 in medals, damage, and kills, in any warzone as a sorc. Whatever you do, don't listen to conventional wisdom. Back pedaling is fine to give distance so you can avoid pushback and interrupts to drop crushing and affliction on a target. Then spam lighting like a madman. I note a lot of disinformation still out there regarding not using keyboarding and clicking , which can mainly be attributed to players who's only previous experience would be WOW. Avoid advice from this crowd and you will have loads of fun on your sorc and be successful.
  8. This. All of this. Republic PvP is atrocious.

...Not really. You're always going to take a few more lumps pugging, than with a pre-made. The same negatives happening on the Pub Side, are happening on Imp side. I think the biggest drawback on Imp side, is that there are too many players who think they know what they are doing, start qqing at the first sign of losing, etc. I'v e had a chance to play more recently due to winter break, and have a had a great time in the zones for the most part. Some fun groups to play with and against, such as Balance on pub side, and Catalyst on Imp side. I recently made a sage and did note a need for players, so that toon will most likely be my focus for a bit.

Still waiting for Bio to tie all this great PVP to some sort of open world bounty or to an RvR scenario, though.
