  1. Is it really capture the flag style? Sounds awesome.

I know it has nothing to do with their decision but when i last unsubed for a long time i put in the reason why that it would be good if there were more warzones such as CTF and King of the Hill so if the next one is CTF that is great news.

  2. Force push has been quite useful to me in PVP, particularly in helping allies. For instance, i see an enemy pounding on an ally such as the healer. I force push the enemy and than jump to him and use force choke, locking him into the place which buys the healer time to set themselves up. I than use ravage once force choke is done to hold them into place even more. If they are not dead, it bought the ally a lot of time to recover.

I use it alot to get some heat off of healers.

  3. I'll join in on the love fest. I've been playing on and off (mostly off) since launch and my highest level character is 50 (confirmed noob). I'm loving leveling characters right now. Love that i can make any companion a healer so can use the ones i want all the time (FU Quinn!). I love that i can just put whatever i want on my companions for looks and not worry about stats. I love that the companion conversations no longer require giving them a bunch of gifts to progress. It feels so much more natural now.

I've seen videos of KOTFE story and i'm blown away. Thank you Bioware.

Now just let us have black eyebrows and give some love to the PVP community and everything would be perfect.

  4. There is no such thing as a bad story and a good story. The beauty is everybody has their own opinions.

For instance: The Trooper story is in my top 3 despite it being towards the bottom for most other people since launch. I also find the Imperial Agent over rated (though still enjoy it a lot). I also think the consular is actually quite a good story.

  5. I just recently started playing again and have a couple characters who are lower level but have a good amount of money put into them with adaptive gear that i want to continue but seem to have played them a different way than i want to now. What i mean is:

I have a sith inquisitor who has 400 lightside points and 50 dark about to go to Nar Shadda. I want to play a darkside Inquisitor, if i play darkside from here on out would i be able to pull it off or while lightside decisions from Korriban-DK-Bel make a difference?

Similar situation with Sith Warrior. Mostly lightside, about to enter NS and i want to play him dark.

  6. For what you haven't done, i've found the Trooper story to be surprisingly really fun. Since launch all i kept hearing is it's one of the bland ones but i really enjoy it. You'll love it if you like the idea of just being a grunt, a soldier and the moral dileme that comes with where do your loyalties truly lie? The commanding officer/ military that trains/pays you with their agenda? The senators/government you swore to protect with their agenda? Or the citizens of the government you swore to protect who are ignorant as to what is really going on but also innocent? It's a constant choice being thrown at you.

I like smuggler Chapter 1 but found it bad after that.

Inquisitor is fun in an ultimate power kind of way

Consular is fun if you like the real idea of being a Jedi and politics/diplomacy.

Bounty Hunter i don't like but the companions are great.

    Mvp

I give my MVP to node/pylon guarders, highest heals or somebody who did something like stealth the pylon last second to give us the huge lead. Rarley ever waste my MVP on highest DPS especially a sorc/sage since it's not hard to accomplish. I expect high dps from then so i don't reward it.
  7. I was hoping this was Bioware's chance to make a lighsight Jaesa romancable like people have been asking for since the start of the game. This gives them a chance to do a lot with companions people have been wanting.

    Ashara darkside

    Kicking/killing certain people (Skadge, Quinn)

  8. I strongly assume the resistance/anti Zakuul alliance will already be well established and run by familiar faces working together from the Empire and Republic. The Outlander i think will play the role of poster boy/girl, a source of inspiration while also taking care of the toughest jobs. Think Katniss from the Hunger Games in the later movies/books.

With that it could be any one of the classes as they have each proved they can go up against the best of the best (some due to plot armor). I think personal powerbase won't come into play, as the story will be roughly the same for each class meaning despite the Inquisitor having force ghosts, a super fleet (probably already destroyed), an underground cult etc they likely won't be utilized at all ( or will be off screen not making any real difference) so with that said i look to the Knight and Warrior who are the most powerful offensive weapons out of all the classes.

  9. My smuggler: Risha-Vette-Mako-Scorpio-Akaavi for his ultimate underworld harem.

My Warrior: Jaesa-Ashara-Xalek-Khem Val-Lord Scourge for Super Sith Strike Force

My Knight: Kira-Nadia-Ashara (redeem her if possible)- Jaesa(redeem her if possible)-Lord Scourge for Anti-Emperor Strike Force

Inquistor- Quinn-Jaesa-Khem Val-Xalek-Lord Scourge- For ultimate powerbase potential (assuming you can't turn republic companions into future spies)

  10. Thanks for the info, i figure i'd share my experience so far incase anybody is interested.

So i decided to start by focusing on an imperial character and did a lot of pvp in the 10-30. I have to say, about 90% of the losses were aganist other Imperials and it seemed pretty clear Imperial was beating Republic nearly everyt ime.

I did a few 30-55 matches and it was 3 victories. Two against PUB but they were hard fought and both were very close (turret games) and another win against an Imperial team.

I'm going to make a pub toon soon so hopefully it's not too bad.

  11. I feel the same way.. As of right now most of the other classes feel like they are becoming more powerful and influential while the Sith Warrior just feels like a glorified brute. I really hope the next expansion allows SW to start a building a powerbase (sith, imperial, republic, jedi, droid) anything really or at least be given a more powerful position in whatever is left of the Empire.

I'd like to see Marr meet his doom (in a cool way, if he is not already dead) and SW take over his position on the Dark Council.
