    I love that mindset. :)

     

    Combine RealID in online games with Facebook, Twitter, and other systems people use to expose their lives online makes my job as an investigator much easier. Oh...and GPS tracking on your smartphones. I love that one (mine's disabled of course). Thank you for telling the world about yourself. I really appreciate the information.

     

    Of course, all of the stalkers out there appreciate it too.

     

    That's why I never use those systems myself. If RealID came to this game, I would quit immediately.

     

    Seriously, those who feel that systems linking your real life into your online life are "must haves" need to seriously stop and think about what you're doing. No, I'm not paranoid. I dig into people's lives for a living (legally), and see the good and bad in people. It's frightening to see what people expose about themselves to complete strangers. And trust me...there are some bad people out that gathering all of this information as well.

    why exactly do you need this system? i don't understand why you are having trouble coordinating with friends outside of game, and am pretty sure this is a troll thread.

    Did you play WoW?

     

    Real-ID in that game let you choose. You put in your friend's real name, and then the both of you were connected regardless of server or faction.

     

    If you didn't want to put your friend's real name there you could just put the game name and go on like usual.

     

    There was no harm to this system whatsoever.

     

    I used it for my real life friends. I miss it now.

     

    Uhh yeah the wow system of real ID is what I was talking about. I'm not the one who doesn't understand how it works it's the guy I was quoting

    Would this not already be an available function with Origins? Add folks as friends on your Origin panel and you should be able to chat with them no problem.

    I could say the very same thing about oh, I don't know, every "Joined Nov, Dec 2011 with no avatar" that have literally done nothing but hash the game from day 1.

     

    I see the bugs, faults etc in this game. However, as a whole it is very playable and "I" am enjoying it. So if because I actually enjoy the game means I am being paid by BW to defend them, lol, ok cool I have a side job I guess.

     

    Though I will say thank you. Yet another "you like the game and didn't hate it immediately therefor your a fanboy" type response. Seriously, laughing at how hypocritical some of you guys are.

     

    Chill out bro no need to get mad about it. I had fun until level 30, thought the game would get better at 50, it didn't.

    Implying all of them are? pft far from. More over if people read the forums instead of just hitting /post then perhaps the forums would be a bit more clear and heck, MAYBE Bioware would take you guys a bit more serious. I must say, in all honesty here, it looks like nothing more than I dropped my ice cream and demand a free one attention wanting.

    A couple of points I should make here:

     

    1. A very very rare bug that has a chance to kick you from huttball is not game breaking.

     

    2. Check my post history. I am in no way a fanboy, I am a very vocal critic of this empty shell of an mmo.

     

    How much is bioware paying you to patrol their forums and defend them?
