Unfortunetlly this always happens here on the forums, players start these threads without ever cheacking the development tracker or patch note, and making false claims. No matter how often it is pointed out in replys to such threads as this. Same will happen next time as well.
I don't do ranked PvP myself but well done to all who achived thier goal.

I just returned to the game and subbed for this patch because of this article, they never stated in this article that these rewards would be released in 2-3 months. I just want my refund then ill go away!!

"Later this spring" per the patch notes
It's worded a bit oddly because they say the season is over and the very next sentence begins with "New rewards can be found at Giradda the Hutt on the Fleet," however it looks like that ties in with the whole "later this spring" bit
More waiting. Disappointing, but nothing new in terms of rollouts.

It was never stated that the rewards would be released at the beginning of season 14 and that's the problem.

I don't have to realize that because it's not true. If you read the 6.2.1 patchnotes carefully you will see that it is clearly stated there that the ranked rewards will be sent out when season 14 starts. Just because you misunderstood it doesn't mean they promoted it wrong.
Your claim is ridiculous, imagine if Apple or Amazon false advertised like this? what would happen to them as a company? I honestly cant believe people spend 15$ a month for this game if the customers are treated like this. I guess its to get their Star Wars fix, luckily for them other game studios are working on other Star Wars games that will most likely put this game to rest!!

No it's not. Learn to read their posts. It is clearly stated that you get them when season 14 starts.
You still have to realize that they promoted in a way that plays believed they would receive it today and not 2-3 months from now., Why did they even mention ranked in this patch at all? I haven't played this game since last Summer and from an outsiders perspective thats clearly how they made it seem.

From a person who used to play this game a while ago just checking up on the game every once in a while, you guys made it seem that the rewards would be released today. Why is there anything pvp related on the patch notes if thats not coming until a later patch? I would like a refund from my current subscription because you guys made it seem that player would be receiving their rewards today, not in May or so. In all honesty as a company, this is a bad look, there are other games players can go to.

Hello, I jusut recently subbed to the game for the content that was promised in 6.2.1 and the new cartel market items and season 13 ranked rewards are missing!!

It is a shame that ranked is toxic, however I think it is more to do with the type of people that play it and that they take it so seriously they seem to lack any basic human decency when dealing/communicating with others rather than the activity itself.
I am generalising though, as there are also some nice/decent people, but unfortunately the toxic folks spoil it for everyone else. Then these same players wonder why the queues don't pop as often as they would like - the irony lol
As for the devs - sure they can do nothing as usual and leave things to be forgotten by not answering community questions as that's their usual track record. But why not do the better thing and actually engage with the community devs? Why even have a community manager and we went through a phase with Keith promoting more communication with the community if you all aren't going to answer questions that the community has about various things?
My guess with this topic is that either someone forgot to check which replica rewards they were up to for Season 12, or they are holding back the old Furious reward replica's to be either offered later or don't want to release them for another reason.
Bioware/devs; why don't you just man up, explain your reasoning/line of thinking for this decision and we can all move on? No matter the reason, even if it was a screw up, the end result will be a lot more positive for the community as a whole rather than giving us all the silent treatment as usual...
Open communications both ways will go a long way to improve the attitude/feeling in the community, and further community engagement will have the flow on effect of further improving Swtor as a whole
I think they do not have a valid reason, or the reason that they have is not good enough. Either way, leaving the community unanswered is not a good move on their end and doesn't help them in the slightest.

musco did actually state in the dev live stream when they annoucned that they're bringing back old sh*t that it would be season 10=s1 s11=s2 s12=s3 and so on so yes they did actually state it.
Can you link that please? We can use that against them once they make their statement as to why they decided to skip season 3 rewards. Also if they dont respond to the majority of this particular community that financially supports them then you know what your dealing with. And deciding to support a company that makes empty promises while demanding finances in order to keep on the lights would be foolish.

I fully expect toxicity in ranked and for the most part I either ignore it or mock it. I am also an old fart that has been playing for decades, so it takes a bit to faze me these days. I don't take ranked particular serious anymore, and I love to run weird builds (like a hatred sin! the horror) and I often get a few choice comments along the way. All fine.
But it makes me sad and frustrated, when some of you older players can not display a modicum of self-awareness or introspection, and begins to blame players for events out of their control, or stuff that outright didn't happen. I get that it is annoying to lose (or even to win apparently), but playing the blame game and decent into name-calling when you can not articulate a mature response is just depressing. I swear more people would play ranked if chat was disabled in SR.
The particular event that triggered this post is unimportant.
People would play if it was more rewarding, and if the game engine ddidnt glitch players all over the place.

They are going in order, they are just skipping season 3 rewards for some odd reason. Your trying to make sense of this just like everybody else but the reality is that they are not ever going to release season 3 rewards again which is a pro blem because they didnt clarify that in article you linked. The whole idea of releasing replicas was that newer players would be able to receive older rewards in order to compensate for the lack of resources diverted to pvp and the game in general. I want to know the reason as to why they are not releasing those rewards and why they didnt notify the community earlier. Not that it even matters because most people will move onto another game this fall once the new releases are announced but still.

It is not even technical assuring. They stated that starting with season x they will start to return (REintroduce SAME REWARDS FROM PREVIOUS SEASONS STARTING WITH SEASON 1 (one). Counting number of previous seasons WE had after their statement - THIS SEASON (season 12) supposed to be about FURIOUS REWARDS. They said that REWARDS WILL BE SAME AS THEY WENT FROM PREVIOUS SEASONS ONE BY ONE. That why we had season 1 rewards then season 2 rewards now we should have season 3 then season 4 etc.

Stop trying to sound smarter than you actually are! and also what is your argument? that people should not have assumed they would release rewards in chronilogical order? Thats your argument, really? Its not that they didnt want to release furious rewards its that they chose to inform the community 3 weeks before intended release (AFTER 1.6 YEARS OF ANNOUNCING THE IDEA OF REPLICA REWARDS), if you dont understand why thats a serious problem then we cant debate.

To be fair, this isn’t a good analogy. It would be if BioWare promised Season 3 rewards with Season 12. I understand why people are angry about it, their anger isn’t unjustified, but they lead themselves on.
releasing the replica versions of season 1 and 2 rewards is technically assuring the community that season 3 rewards would be coming next.

They are skipping them so they can make money off of the tunings that grant similar effects. After all its all about the cartel market these days. Screw people who actually play.
They can sell that and still give out the rewards, at this point it’s about principle more than anything, the way they operate as a company is childlike

This whole thing with season 3 rewards has been an outrage and I've just cancelled my sub, if bioware want to treat their players like this with 0 communication then a ninja move with rewards at the end then so be it.
Yea I’m no longer supporting a company that treats their consumers like that, it’s like ordering from a Resturant, ordering a steak, waiting for the steak and when the food finally gets there, you get eggs and toast. Then you ask what happened to the steak I paid 40 dollars for and they just ignore you or answer a question completely irrelevant to the main problem. poorly managed and they treat their consumers terribly.

The dev team aren't stupid, they know that by doing what they are doing many people will unsubscribe so by now saying they are announcing rewards from the start they can just say they are going to release season 3 rewards for season 13 as a way of keeping the pvp players subscribed, its smart, but also an unorthodox method of trying to keep players in the game and also maintain as little communication as possible with the ranked players in this game.
They aren’t dumb at all, if they announced they were not going to rerelease furious from the start then no one would have accepted the replicas as rewards. Announcing that a month before expected release is silly because will cost them in the long run, it’s 2020 there are other games and more competition to keep player bases. I don’t know what there doing but it isn’t working and they neglected the majority of the community that supports their game. Why not Make ranked a free game mode at this point then?

Do you really think they are doing this for you "vets"? If you actually thought about it they just want to squeeze as much money from ranked players as possible like they knew furious would be a high demand reward so they knew ppl would still sub to play solo ranked till season 12 and now with season 12 over they skipped it and said they will announce rewards from the start, if any of you bothered to use your brains then you would realise that they are just going to announce furious rewards at the start of season 13 to get people to queue for an additional season, and this way they have managed to keep solo ranked players subscribed for an additional season than if they released furious this season, like honestly how could you be so deluded to think they are respecting veteran ranked players when they have ignored almost every suggestion from ranked players over the many years.
What makes you think they are going to release season 3 rewards next season, your statement sounds a bit naive imo. If they were going to release them then they would do so in chronological order

Honestly, the part I have a problem with is that we were promised rehashed rewards with at least the implication that they would be sequential in old seasons in return for shorter seasons, and we haven't even gotten the shorter seasons. It's basically setting wrong expectations by ambiguity, which a good part of us just interpret as lying. Such breaches of trust erodes participation in this game.
At least some of the more notorious wintraders got purged, so we got delivery on that front.
It is lying because if they knew they were not going to rerelease season 3 rewards back when they had first decided the cycle of releasing old rewards then they should have notified the community ahead of time. That’s why they owe the community an explanation and also a time frame of when they decided that season 3 rewards were not goi to released ever again

I hold the number 1 spot in solo ranked for sniper this season. Had replica furious gear been the reward, I would've had to decide between wearing my real furious gear and replica gear - what a dilemma. Any other misinformed questions?
I'm following this thread because I'm very interested to see Bioware's follow-up response. If their reasoning is they didn't want to dilute the value of furious gear by keeping it exclusive to vets, I am beyond impressed. If they simply forgot or plan to release it next season, or the weapons through the cartel market... well, not impressed.
And either way, they should've been clear at the start of the season what replica rewards players can expect to avoid the warranted frustration. 1 2 3 is implied, not 1 2 4. This is the part I originally commented on.
I’m very curious about their follow up response as well, which is why I’m still lingering on the forums. Keeping certain stuff exclusive for the players that played way back when would actually be a good enough reason for me but ignoring your player base would definitely solidify my resigning of the game

Imagine playing for multiple seasons and saying you will do chronological order of ranked rewards only to take away the most anticipated awards prob since S5 and S8. For what exactly? To squeeze in some extra sub money? I got a better idea; actually listen to your community. Listening to your community makes you more money and boosts game reputation and better yet Ninja might play this game full time like he used to do. Imagine all the possible revenue you could generate from Ninja playing tor. It's also a real damn shame you devs don't know how your own game works, do you even bother reading half of the **** you buff or nerf? At this point it's like you slap ideas on a whiteboard and agree on what sounds good without actual thought process. Such a shame, a game with great potential washed down the drain because of poor decision making; and you wonder why this game won't be more popular than wow.
This game isn’t going to be as popular as it could be because of the engine and the story focus.
