I got a ****** orange jacket with a sith marauder mask with sniper mods in it. I look ******...

The worst part is the re-hashed gameplay that inevitably leaves you bored and unfulfilled sitting on the fleet in the queue for pvp or spamming LFG HM ANY for hours wondering what happened to your life

WoW is the brave hero that swtor looked up to when it was but a wee lad and kept saying "when I grow up I'm gonna be just like WoW!"
-
You realize that you don't HAVE to stay in cover in one spot, you can move elsewhere and crouch and if you have melee on you then you're playing sniper wrong.
-
Sniper is definitely a fun class but it is pretty challenging. We really don't have many utility powers and we can't really tank that much damage (except high level engineering specced snipers)
but if played correctly we can do massive amounts of damage pretty quickly and hopefully kill any threat before it even gets a chance to hit us. Sniper requires a very patient approach to combat instead of "force leap in AOE SMASH RAWR RAGE POINTS SMASH THE STRIKE BUTTON" You need to look at each enemy in a group and decide who youre going to leg shot/flash bang who to nuke down quickly and when to use CD's. If you read on the forums most people complain about snipers sucking...they don't. Not by a long shot, I've had success with MM and lethality in pvp and pve and engineering is just god mode for pve (terrible at pvp though, except area denial with the final talent)
This class is all about energy management, since it doesnt regen at a constant rate you need to keep it above 60 for the 5 energy/sec and should only ever go below that when you need to do a lot of damage quickly (engineering has a little lee-way on this though)
I'd give sniper an 8/10, it's a hard class to play but has huge potential.
-
I personally love our AoE blind, using it in a huge skirmish and blinding half he enemy team is one of my favorite things to do
-
If you're lethality crit directly affects your energy regen so it's lovely for lethality but you should'nt stack a single stack. I'd say focus on Power, Accuracy, and Crit. (missing a corrosive grenade is a very sad thing)

Now that i think about it, Agents should be the ones using pistols, seeing as how they're supposed to be covert, they got it all backwards
Agents use a sniper/knives...I think that's fitting, don't you? Just because some character with about 30 minutes of screen time and the worst death in all of movie history has a rifle you think BH's should all use rifles? If you want rifles go play a trooper.

Marksman In pvp is not so good. Dont know about the other 2 specs but i truely believe that you should not go sniper for pvp.
Every class has its map where it can shine, we dont. Every map design sucks for a sniper.
Not true, with teamwork and class knowledge any class can do well. I frequently top the charts as a lethality sniper and I'm not even level 50. I really havent had much trouble with sniper, it's a fun and challenging class that (if played correctly) can dish out INSANE amounts of damage.

Han Solo: [sounding official] Uh, everything's under control. Situation normal.
Voice: What happened?
Han Solo: [getting nervous] Uh, we had a slight weapons malfunction, but uh... everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here now, thank you. How are you?
Voice: We're sending a squad up.
Han Solo: Uh, uh... negative, negative. We had a reactor leak here now. Give us a few minutes to lock it down. Large leak, very dangerous.
This wins.

go engineering, 3 seconds CD on frag grenade with like +15% aoe dmg and then 30% aoe crit damage
spamming frag grenades all day! plus plasma probe at 40 is amazing

You wanna use Cull BEFORE weakening blast. Cull counts towards the 10 charges of weakening blast and you want your poisons to get the full benefit and Cull drains the charges VERY quickly.

I hate twitter as well, but you don't need to freaking sign up to go on his twitter. Just go to twitter.com/rockjaw and leave it up in a seperate tab. It won't kill you, I promise.
-
Didn't get into wave 2 either. Guess it's time to complain and call Bioware a useless company who can't even release a game. Just kidding, I'll go watch TV and be patient because I'm not a total dunce.
-
It's day one at 8 43 in the morning (EST) and Reid is constantly updating his twitter, what more do you want? Would you like to know the exact time of your email down to the millisecond? Go do something for an hour or so then check back and see if you're in. That way it'll be much less painful then sitting here waiting with your ill-gotten rage building up.
-
I'd say a 1. Living with 2 younger sister's has taught me patience. Appearently the majority of other people have no idea what it even means though. I pre ordered on day 1 and, for lack of a better phrase, I ain't even mad.
-
From stephen reid's twitter
"Rockjaw Stephen Reid
@ @erlang85 We had a LOT of pre-orders on Day One."
Not everyone from day one has been invited in yet, you will get in today. Be patient and stop raging on the forums about how you weren't in the first wave.
-
Oh no you didn't get in the first wave? I feel so bad for you!
Just be quiet and do something else while waiting for the next wave of invites. Just because you pre ordered on/near the first day doesn't automatically entitle you to the first wave of invites.
-
I'm pretty sure you would definitely not get in if you did that. I'm just playing skyrim windowed mode with some bacon and eggs waiting for the (1) notification to pop up.
-
Can't wait until the 2nd wave goes and everyone who doesn't get in that one starts raging on the forums. "I pre ordered on the first day! No first wave? BIOWARE LIED TO US IM CANCELLING MY CE" I've already seen a few people close to this reaction.
I don't think they increased server caps, I think people quit...
