  1. What are your top 5 reasons why you left the game?

    1. The Devs never keep their promises.

This is one critical issue not only as a game company but it is a taboo to all business enterprises.

Gaining trust takes forever. Losing trust can be done in seconds.

Funcom has done enough damage to themselves, and we will see if BW will be the next.

    2. The Devs know nothing about the state of current Online games.

People nowadays are consuming the game contents so fast that in order to keep them playing, you need an

    ultimate recycling system aka PVP.

But it seems they have failed this badly, and upon reading their 1.3 goals, I have made my decision,

play 3 months of D3, then move to other Korean MMO or PSO2 until TESO is out.

    3. Lack of people to play with.

Like most of you are facing, many of the servers are nearly dead. And the transfer/merge is taking too long.

I would just quit and play other games like TERA or GW2 or even Mario Party rather than waiting till Summer.

    4. PVE has almost no relation with PVP.

I PvP alot. But Since PVP has their own set of armor, I have close to none interest to PVE end game contents,

which killed one of the reason to log onto the game.

    5. New games keep coming.

Why stick to something that you have lost interested while there are many other games around? I love new stuff,

YOU love new stuff. If I am not satisfied with the current state, I am not wasting my time and money keep playing it.

There are always games out there to keep me happy than just login, clear daily quests and logout.

    Why do I stick around?

Because my sub hasn't run out. And I have the right to come and check your funny posts.

Overall, SWTOR is still one of the best MMO out there. But its current state can b discribed as a Ferrari driven by some 65 years old. Its a waste. I loved the game, but sadly it could not catch up with my speed.

Here is what I can tell for the last time. Keep the up the community and GL.

  2. I dunno why people expect that. SWTOR was always a PVE game, then they tried to cater to a wider audience at the expensive of PVE and now more people are pissed off on all fronts.

Pick a freakin' focus, and make it awesome. At least then everyone else knows to avoid your game instead of spending money on watered down content.

I think we need a "PVE" and "PVP" indicator printed on the box. I wouldn't have bought SWTOR if they didn't introduce PVP contents in their PV.

  3. They are both good.

Sage has big heals and RDPS while Scoundrel is mainly HoT based (of couse they have normal heals too) and mainly close ranged DPS. For utility I have to say they are pretty much the same. And for survivability, scoundrel might have higher chance to stay longer because of the armor type bonus and the mobility when healing.

If you like the classic healing style, Sage is your choice. If you like to move around and HoT, scoundrel.

  4. TERA has bouncing baloons aka *****, SWTOR doesn't.

SWTOR has very nice plotted stories, TERA doesn't.

Don't get me wrong. I have played TERA 1 year before you all. What you are calling the best game is nothing but another typical F2P Korean game with different skins.

  5. Its sad when someone post something about some cool mechanism, the kids would just turn their face away and start bashing other stuff. Face it, SWTOR character making system sux. Even EQII has got a better system.

Making use of the system would enable you to make a toon look just like yourselves. It would be totally awsome if SWTOR could have the system in the first place.

Also, keep in mind that different ppl have different culture.

  6. i bet the people like my self who cancel there account and got 30 free days was included as active. sadly i will not return anytime soon. i will wait till the game provides more than RP updates and 4 boss raids

Same here. No matter what they are going to add into, I have lost my faith to them. No turning back after my sub runs out. I know they don't care about 1 sub cancel tho.

  7. The Devs distinctly stated that not all armor was going to be updated, and only the post-1.2 gear would have the set bonuses tied to the Armoring. Anything in game prior to 1.2 has the bonus tied to the shell itself.

It was stated numerous times before 1.2 came out, along w/ some in-depth discussions to clarify the details to the community.

While some BM sets were UPDATED to the newer version if you had the original mods in place still, the BM set is still technically considered to be a pre-1.2 set of gear (it was in the game before 1.2) and thus still has its set bonus tied to the shell because that's the way it was originally coded.

I think many people think that "Oh so after 1.2 I can just get a new sersion of my same gear and start transferring them!"

  8. Pre 1.2 BM gear has the bonus tied to the shell, the Post 1.2 BM gear has it tied to the armoring. So if you purchased it after 1.2, you can switch it no problem (from everything I've read, my BM gear is pre-1.2 so I never tried).

No. Post 1.2 BM gear also ties to the shell. I found it the hard way too.

Only WAR HERO Sets are transferrable atm. SUX.

  9. Hi there.

Could you also try out this spec if you have the time to?

    http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#601Mc0cZ0MZcMfRrMkrfz.1

    My rotation is usually:

    MiB => Project => Breach => Double Strike => Double Strike/Mind Crush => Project => any CDs

When the opponent hits less than 30%, Spinning Strike.

Basically full BM gear will do.

Just want to compare this build with others and see if I should continue to stick with this spec.

    Thanks.

  10. You'll love Tera then. The combat is highly, highly interactive. Keyboard turning noobs don't win with stacked gear anymore, its impossible in that game. Doesn't matter how good your gear is, if you can't hit your opponent, you can't win. None of this "tab, target, spam stupidly high dmg attacks from 30m for profit" bull **** goin on in Tera.

Oh and yea, you see about one tenth of the cc in any given fight in Tera that you'll see in this game.

Which also means that if I am used to Mouse turning and I have a full set of shiny gear I can roll everyeone in front of me by just keep whacking them down with ease due to the gears' stat bonus? Sounds fun. :D

  11. they need to punish people for leaving pvp because things are not going their way. So sick of queing up for a WZ to find out that half the team rage quit.

If they imply the system before the Ranked WZ takes place, get rdy to see more ppl leave the game.

  12. Tera and GW2 will fail for sure.

Kids who still think they will rock will get screwed hard.

I have never seen a welly balanced F2P (lolz) game in my life.

Whoever have more money in their pockets rules everything.

  13. I just logged in and saw only 55 ppl on the fleet. There were 200+ on the first day of 1.2 and usually 80-100 ppl at this timezone.

Thats what will happen if you can't keep your promise. As there are soo many other games out there, when ppl feel they are screwed, they will just leave.

  14. I think its safe to say that Assassins/Shadows and Marauders/Sentinels are the easiest to play classes for this month.

We see them with at least 3 of each of those classes on each match.

Then try one and rank high when rated WZ is here. Many ppl think they are strong and dropped the class later on. I assume you will do the same. :)
