  1. After 4 days straight at hoth heroics and foundry grinds, I finally found somebody who had it :) I had to pay them 500k though to get it off them! What's worse is that other assassins were coming to hoth and trying to steal my spot/offer more than me for the robes.

    Its a great set though :) I FINALLY LOOK LIKE DARTH MAUL

    This set shouldve been the lvl 50 pvp sith inq gear instead of that lady gaga/drag queen crap.

  2. Well thats good, but I still wonder why we dont get more to choose from :/ I mean ill just be going back to my lvl 10 saber marshal top lol.

    I was looking at the other pvp gear and the lvl 40 HEAVY set looks like an assasin outfit. ALSO the outfit on the security key vendor looks VERY assassinesque. I wonder why more isnt implemented to create wider variety. From what ive seen its a bunch of the same gear just different colors :/ thats not very wide.

  3. When I first started playing the Assassin class I was thrilled. Read around alot before starting and from what everyone was saying it sounded like the assassin class was like a rougue/deathknight (yeah, WoW reference, be mad). I loved the idea of a rogue with force powers and in the beginning everything was great.

    The first set of robes the class quest gives you looks JUST LIKE Darth Maul, who IMO is the key movie character that represents the assassin class.

    Ok, into my 20s, the pvp gear looks more like sorc gear so I stuck with my orange tier Saber Marshal robes and kept on remodding it as I advanced.

    Lvl 30s, I find these light grey sith inq leggings that replaces my old black skirt. Everything is golden now; I FINALLY LOOK LIKE DARTH MAUL.

    Lvl 40s, pvp gear looks more like sorc gear, I get it anyway but take the mods out and put it in my ****** assassin gear (keep in mind, still wearing the saber marshal robes I got at lvl 10**)

    I Hit lvl 50! Im so stoked! But WAIT~ Pvp is harder now because expertise finally means something. Shoot, time to actually use the pvp gear.

    Whats this?! What is this gear?!

    I get to lvl 50, no problem. Even though I used the same gear the whole time, it didnt bother me because I LOOKED like an assassin; a straight up bad***. Why did I all of a sudden get forced into this feathery garbage?

    Incase we're not clear of what the Star Wars Assassin looks like.... Heres a pic for reference;

    Now I get that the BW dev's wanted to get creative; IM ALL FOR IT. Infact, Darth Maul is kinda plain looking compared to the other classes in SWTOR. So lets examine what an assassin looks like in other games...

    I bet I dont even need to say where this guy's from;

    Now HE looks ******... hood over the head, straps over his chest, still looks light cloth gearish but it has that distinct assassin look.

    Now all im asking is why oh why do I have to dress like this;

    or this

    To keep up in the lvl 50 pvp?

    Here's my suggestion to help those of us who actually want to look like an assassin;

    1) Make the champ/bm/cent Stalker sets look DIFFERENT than the force masters. Make us look like assassins and not the same as the sorcs. We need to look different; we're completely different classes.

    2) Allow us to take the mods out of pvp gear WITH the expertise bonus'. Even though that means we dont get cool new pvp assassin gear, at least we can go back to looking like the assassins we used to be... back at lvl 10.

    3) Fire Lady Gaga from the Dev team.

    Thank you for reading, please dont rage too harshly on BW for giving us this gear. They tried to give us gear, we didnt approve, they go back to the drawing board. Simple trial and error.

    The gear looks GREAT for a shaman/sorc/druid-esque character. Whoever made this gear got it perfectly right for that class style. My only complaint is that ASSSASSINS get the short end of the stick.

    Thanks,
