  1. Provided you don't forget which alt had/needed what, or mail something to the wrong guy - a Legacy Bank would simply streamline things a little, there'd still be alt-hopping.

Plus, it fits the Legacy concept as an unlock better than "now your alts can dance with minions."

Never had that problem before....but I suppose it could happen.

  2. Companion gift farming is what brings me in most money currently, when pushing it I can make roughly 3 - 4 million credits a week with it. Certain of the epics retrieved go for like 15 - 25k a piece and you can get several of those a day alone, with hardly any effort as just every 30 - 40 mins you send your companions out to do the work again for you.

The draw back here is you need all your companions to be at 10k affection to get the really good gifts and to do that you need to use gifts on your own to get them to 10k. And 3-4 million a week? Not saying you don't but that seems like a lot of credits a week for gift selling. I never made that much using 5 toons to farm for them everyday.

  3. Do dailies on both of your toons.

I also found that crafting doesn't get you rich on credits....at the high end of crafting it costs you a ton just to send out companions for the mats you need and even tho you can farm the mats you need ( if you have the right jobs) it takes a long time to gather them. Dalies also take a long time to do. That's why I farm Champions for their chests and orange and purple drops selling them to npcs.

  4. If you have a lvl 50 you can do what I do. I farm Champions on Hoth for a few hours a day making around 400k credits by opening the chests they guard and selling the orange Items they drop for credits. Then just send the credits to my other toons that need credits.
  5. I started out lvling my first toon a BH right to lvl 50, then did the same with my Sith/M. Then i started a Trooper/Vangaurd went to 29, then a Jedi/C went to 32. Then went back to Trooper got her To 50, then started a Gunslinger got her to 40 went back to Jedi/C for 2 lvls then back to Gunslinger to lvl 50. lol :)
  6. Hey guys, I play a Sith Jugg and I search for a Revan-like helmet. I found one that is for PvP but it cannot be modded (it is called battlemaster I think), are there any moddable ones?

I've found several armor pieces that are named "Battlemaster", They aren't Modable and not PvP armor If this is what you're talking about.

  7. Is orange gear essentially just for choosing your appearance as you level up, and becomes useless in end-game content because it doesn't have the set bonuses of later gear? I'd like to know before I waste time collecting different looks of gear as I level.

I'm using my old and early orange pieces on my gunslinger with War Hero set bonus for PvP .

  8. This is how I feel as well. If they come up with an option that does not cost me my character names, I'll probably take it. Until then, I will pay my subscription fee to play on an empty server. If they force me to give up my character names, I'll stop paying my subscription fee. All are about equal to me.

lol....are you kidding me. Not transfering because you might lose your names? How sad is that.

  9. I agree that the time required PER DAY isn't that much. However, when you have things like armor sets that can only be attained through a minimum number of days (wasn't the containment set like 5 days minimum?) it narrows the window considerably.

True... but doing the quest for the armor pieces even tho it was one piece a day didn't take much time because they didn't require samples to get, you just had to do the quest then turn it in.

  10. He makes a good point though, That entire rakghoul event i spent on tatooine grinding the comms for the lightsaber crystal. So it wouldve been nice to have longer to get more stuff.

True. it should be longer but.... I have a full time job, a family, a house to maintian and several RL obligations and during the last event I got 3 full sets of armor for my 3 lvl 50's and at least 12 of the crystals. It really doesn't take that long if you learn the tricks on how to get samples fast. I also got all the pets for 7 toons during the event.

Making the event last longer would be nice though.

  11. First off, the fact that the best part of the game (class stories) are going to be free when we've all had to pay $150+ to play them IS BS. Secondly, that's not even the real reason I don't like this. Sure, the server pop will "look" good, but will it help make GF queues shorter? Nope. Will it make Ops group pop faster? Absolutely not. In fact, it may make these queues even longer due to people dropping their subs to go to the F2P model. All F2P is really going to do for subscribers is make it impossible to do quests. With so many getting to do them for free, you'll be paying to fight free players for nodes and objectives. Which is fine for them... they're playing free of charge. You on the other hand.....

I hear what you're saying but wouldn't it be that way if they didn't go F2P and they had like 2-3 million subs like they thought they would. Are the crowds the real reason ppl are pissed. Again they will have to pay and keep paying to get what subs have and will get with their sub fee.

  12. This isn't a flame, it really isn't. But I don't understand, why are or were people pissed that they're going F2P. If You were or are already subbed it doesn't hurt or effect us in anyway. So what if people who never played the game get to play it for free (after they buy it for $15) we're the one's that get the full game with everything F2P people are the one's who need to pay out of pocket to get what we have.

I think once it goes F2P and people start finding out that it's gonna cost them more then the the $15 a month to get what the subs have, they will sub. They will never really get to play for free because every bit of content that comes out even if it is minor they have to pay for it. From what I've read there will be a TON of restrictions for F2P and I think it's gonna cost them a small fortune in the long run to get what subs have and will get in the coming months.. Just my thoughts......

  13. it just causes chaos and no one gets anything accomplished.. plus armor repairs lol.. i just want people to go in their and tell them they're wrong if they agree with me and hopefully they will get it through their heads at some point and start being more fair about it... there is no honor in what they have created and they dont have the authority to dictate us like this.

They're not breaking any rules.... so not much you can do about it. Personally I see nothing wrong in what they did.
