  1. For it has a lot to do with class race combo. my tanks are usually male like my trooper and sith warrior are while my healers tend to be females. nothing sexual about it at all as tend to like at my girl toons more like a daughter than anything else.

Again it depends as I had a female Gnome Warrior in WoW because a little pink pig tailed girl dual wielding two handers was just to good to pass up.

  2. While your servers may be local the updating is still done by BW here in the US and they make the poor sods work the night shift to do it. it would require them to add a second staff if they wanted to stagger the updates to coincide by regional times. only way that would happen is if the Pacific/Asia server population grew to a large enough size to justify the additional costs of more staff or massive overtime pay outs.
  3. It was never meant to a part of our regular rotation but was meant to be a trash thrasher. I use it on that annoying mob that always stands 10 yards away from the grouping.

MV, then sticky+storm+Blitz usually knocks them out

  4. So your complaint boils down to the fact that after 16 -20 hours of game play a week your bored?

I guess BW should shift all the devs to 16 hour over lapping shifts to make you happy? if 9 hours of raiding a week is not enough for you I really hope your not married or have kids because it would suck to be them.

  5. Ever notice how the people screaming for DPS meters and gearscore add-on's always seem to be on the forums and never actually playing the game.

Whats the matter? you mad Brah, because the game did not ship with your required EPEEN ruler?

I guess the upside to these things will be instead of nerd raging the forums more will spend their time standing around the fleet EPREENING to everyone how much more AWESOME their pixels on a game are.

  6. When I was a kid back in the 70s, my parents decided to take up bowling. They loved it.

As time passed, they got better and better at it. Eventually, they bowled regularly in tournaments and had a room full of trophies from the tournaments they won.

Then, one day, they abruptly stopped bowling. They quit, gave away all their stuff, and never went back. They started playing softball after that.

Years later, I asked my dad why they quit bowling. I found it odd, because they were so good at it. The following is what he said to me (to the best of my memory):

"When we started we bowled twice a month. We loved it. Every time we made a strike, we'd jump with joy and celebrate. There wasn't any pressure. It was just fun and we loved the feeling of getting that strike. But after a couple years, it changed. We were so good, we didn't celebrate strikes any more. We expected them. Instead, we just got angry when we didn't make a strike. Making a strike was expected, and even a spare was considered a small failure. and if we didn't pick up the spare... well, that was downright unforgivable. We just got so good at it, it wasn't fun anymore. It was just frustrating. We started bowling because it was fun. When it wasn't fun anymore, we moved on."

Casuals - while maybe not as good as min/maxers - just like to celebrate the strikes.

Not sure if that makes any sense, but it's the best description I could think of.

Well put Sir!, and I couldn't agree more.

  7. It's an auto pilot correcting feature that raises the ship in case the pilot miss judged the ground clearance prior to issuing the deploy command, smacking your bottom wing into the ground is considered bad protocol by Republic command.

But yea it is a bit odd looking. wish they would just give a B-wing instead.

  8. I intentionally leave side mission alone for this very reason, in that "other" game so many of us played the standard was to get to a new area click every quest icon the minute you got there and proceed to grind them out.

If you focus on the story line and do just enough side missions to level up for the next area you'll have option for your alts.
