  1. I know i'm old and have been with this game forever, but back when it came out the one time use password didn't exist. Instead they had a series of questions that you provided answers for that if it didn't recognize your computer you had to answer (I had to answer these every time I logged in for a while). While this was annoying if it happened a lot we should have an available option to choose between this and the one time use password because this was less annoying.

I feel that that having the option of choosing between the one time password and the security questions would be a good idea. It would allow for people to have more say in how they verified their identity to the game so they could log in.

  2. If they would do this they could fix the major problem with the unranked 4vs4 WZ, which is the constant unbalanced teams. You can pretty much count on one team having a healer and the other team not. When this happens you will always have someone on team without healer leave, and now you are 3vs4. If you separate the queues then you can use the same balancing system for unranked 4vs4 as you do for the ranked.

[/ I agree. Its super annoying when the other team has a healer and yours does not. It seems very unbalanced team wise to have it that wayCOLOR]

  3. If pets were changed so they would actually help you during questing/combat like in SWG then I think more people would be interested in them. They would also be more practical to have in that way.
  4. This suggestion involves making the GTN more auction house like. This means making a slot for a minimum bid and a buy out price. That way an individual isn't forced to automatically purchase an item if they do not want to. It gives them the option to simply make a bid on the item that they are interested. If someone else outbids them or outright purchases the item then the bids of those who did not earn the item are returned to the respective players.
  5. I am not saying 100% do away with the restriction, I am saying to ether do away with it 100% OR do away with it for pref players, what is the reason to even buy anything to obtain pref status if the change is nominal? there is only a few MINOR perks for being a Pref player, if they wish to try to get people to sub they need to give better incentives rather then put restrictions on those who do not sub, look at Habbohotel's model, they don't limit what a free player can do, instead they give those who sub, SUB Exclusive items, BUT these items can be traded to non-subs as well, but the fact that they give everyone the SAME service but a little extra service to those who pay makes a huge difference, that is how they need to focus on the model, right now as it stands, as soon as people get that message after reaching level 20, they quit, I have got about 15 of my old clan mates from PWI to come to swtor, and as soon as they got to 20, they quit... there are some people who would prefer to play a game at least once to the end before buying into it, its like a torrent, you torrent the program cause (If your wanting to remain on the right side of the law that is <.<) you want to try it before you buy it, and you want to try ALL that is has to offer before sinking your money into it, I know alot of people who played WoW on a private server simply to see what the end game content was like and afterwards they went and bought all of the expansions as well as subbed to the game, so again, why impose harsh restrictions on F2P and Pref players as opposed to giving those who sub a much greater incentive?

[/I think it would be a good idea to do away with it for preferred players since they have spent some money on something related to the game. Even if its not purchasing a subscription Bioware is still earning some money from them for this game in some way or other. COLOR]

  6. I was wondering if anyone had seen members of the guild known as Star Knights on recently. The guild transferred from the server Grialda the Hutt to the Shadowlands server during the server consolidation. I ask because I used to have a character in the guild for a long time but had to leave for personal reasons and would like to get back in touch with them if possible.
  7. Well for your Republic characters I would suggest the guild Covenant of the Phoenix. I have a Jedi Consular/Shadow in that guild and have been very happy with it. It is a very large guild with helpful people. For your Sith Empire characters I would suggest the guild Red Star Syndicate. That guild is very friendly and helpful to members who need assistance. Both guilds have the highest experience boost possible. :D:D:D
  8. It was just a thought on the no OGR flirts, one I doubted, but thought of the possibility of it. :)

In my experience, you can't judge what a person will play based on their gender. I know there are men who will only play men (And if they played a female, they quickly disregarded the character). I know there are men who play women strictly as there are men players who will play both. I know of women who play strictly women characters. I know of women who play male characters only (and not because of "I dont want to be treated as a female gamer or stalked"). And of course women players who play play both sexes on the characters.

This is why when I play a MMO, I always refere to the player by the gender of their avatar I know them by. I never ask for their RL gender (I just don't care), and will only find out if they say something in chat (which isn't always truthful anyways, as I've also seen the come out). I've also seen people refere to player self by the gender of their main and what thusly what the group knows them by (by both gender of players).

Which is likely why you hear the term Many Men Online Role Playing Girls as a way for the male players to feel as if they're protecting themselves. But then, if they didn't think to use a MMO as a dating service, what do they did to protect themself from? And if they're roleplaying, wouldn't it be the character concept that's important and not the player behind it?

My guess, I think BW will play it safe. I think we're going to see an equal number of OGR/SGR flirt options in all directions.

I agree with you about referring to someone as male/female based on their avatar gender. Everyone has their reasons for choosing to play a particular gender and its really not anyone else's business to judge them for that.
