  1. You don't make 600k-800k an hour just from slicing (not that you said you did). Even unmolested with no competition near the Yavin temple, the most you can make just from slicing alone is about 500k an hour (trollish claims of a mil an hour notwithstanding).

Yeah, I make maybe 300k or so JUST from slicing an hour (Guesstimating cause I haven't really timed just that aspect), but I do do archeology, and the crystals I find sell very well on the GTN. With pure profit from slicing, + missions I find from slicing I can either sell for 50k+ or do myself with a chance of getting 100k+ worth of mats, plus the archeology items I sell on the GTN, I average somewhere between 600k-800k an hour. I don't bother much with biochem, as I don't feel like leaving the area I farm in just to collect on it.

  2. Either you had a lot of rep to get or you are joking/trolling. You would not have kept using it after getting Legend status if you truly did not realize other stuff could drop.

Bought a lot to start off with cause I was going for the Malgus statue for teh 12x xp. Didnt know how mych it would take, so I just used it all.

  3. Bingo. All those 12 year olds think being a sith makes them a ******. I roll mostly pub, but genchat is ALWAYS off impside for me.

I don't touch Pub side because all the younger kids playing SWG ruined it for me. Younger generation tend to go with the Jedi cause that's where Luke and Yoda side in their eyes.....

  4. I think the joke is that a mighty sith lord is asking for help. Which is amusing.

A jedi probably would ask for help if he needed it. lol

See, you're confusing The Old Republic Jedi with the Jedi of the future. Have you not noticed that the Jedi in this time line are all D-bags, and in a lot of instances, worse than the Sith? I've just experienced too many stories where the high and mighty Jedi's were just as evil, if not more, than me, and demand more stuff to be done for them.

  5. Like I said it is a known issue and they usually fix it fairly quickly. Once you have the Malgus you won't want to level up a rep without the Shan holo.

Glad everything worked out for you in the end.

Yeah, if needed I have enough certs to get the Pub version, although I still have no desire to level a Pub, besides what I did when I needed my HK part.

    Thank you all.

  6. Sadly, the best holo trainer out there was available as a pre-order bonus to the first digital expansion (HOHO!) :csw_jabba:

I'd keep an eye out for promotions. Actually if you don't feel like shelling dozen millions on a holo trainer it might be a good idea to see the reputation vendors from Cartel Market. Some of them do have holo trainers. Just buy those packs and open them to use reputation tokens and get Cartel Certs. Not only you'll get your holo trainer for future characters but you'll get plenty of stuff for resale so you might even win on the transaction.

I got my Darth Malgus, it was rather easy when the rep gained through the slot machine. My issue was that it wouldn't go into my collections. I sent off a bug report last night, and it seems they fixed it some time this morning. I will confirm when I get home.

  7. those that cut by 1 credit, maximize profit that benefits the sellers, those that cut by more, leave money on the table and that benefits the buyers.

I usually undercut by 1 cred, cause I'm competing against the bots. When I sell Yavin things, it's a lot easier to tell that the people listing 20+ stacks of mats are the bots, and I have no hard feelings undercutting them and their asdjhk names.

  8. Only issue that Pot9 has is a low Pub side. The imperial side seems to always be populated, no matter what time I'm on. I got on it today around 5AM EST, and there were about 100 people on fleet.

I've created a single pup character to get my HK part, and that side always felt like a ghost town. During peak hours there would be 10 people at most on fleet.

  9. I'll ask the obvious: did you right click to bind it. Then go to another toon to see if you could buy the unlock via collections?

How long did it take, and about how much did it cost you to unlock via the slots? Sounds like the odds on getting those certificates much be much higher than posted.

Yeah, I did all that. Only thing I am questioning is that it's still showing it's refundable for another hour and a half. Wondering if that would be the reason.

  10. The slot machines were interactive decorations a few packs back, and each token costs 750 credits.

One token gets you one spin, and from that you have a chance at a prize or nothing.

I don't know if they're still current, but these were the revised drop rates people reported after the slot machine nerf:-

    45% : lose

    20% : free spin

0.2% : green crafting material token

0.15% : blue crafting material token

0.1% : purple crafting material token

    16.999% : green reputation item

    13% : blue reputation item

    4.5% : purple reputation item

    0.05% : Cartel Market Certificate

    0.001% : Walker mount

There are two trainer holos, Darth Malgus for all Imperial classes and Satelle Shan for all Republic classes.

Both can be bought in the Cartel Bazaar area of the appropriate fleet, from the Contraband Resale vendors.

Both need Friend reputation, four Cartel Market Certificates, and 25,000 credits. As you can see though, the Cartel Market Certificate is a pretty low drop rate, so expect to be at it a while.

Both only need to be bought once and can then be unlocked account wide using Cartel Coins.

    Great info, thanks!

  11. If you're on Bastion, let me know and I'll give you a key to my Stronghold which has one as well.

Oh and the token are 750 I believe, used to be 500.

I'm sure my guild has one somewhere. We have over 600 people, but I'm not sure of the cost. I just made a crap-ton of characters, and maxed out their legacy Class exp, so I only have about 300k to my name currently.
