  1. Having real trouble finding a decent laptop under 700 dollars that will run the game well.

Found some discounts, did some unspeakable things, and found this

    Specs:

    AMD Quad-Core A8-3550MX Accelerated Processor (2.7GHz/2.0GHz, 4MB L2 Cache)

1GB AMD Radeon HD 7690M GDDR5 Discrete Graphics

    6GB DDR3

    750GB 7200 rpm Hard Drive

    Resolution is 1366x768

  2. I need a laptop that will give me the ability to play SW:TOR on the lowest possible settings with playable fps.

The main reason I need a laptop is for my school since it's all online and I'm not always home.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834215191 is the laptop I was looking at and was wondering if it could run the game on the lowest possible settings.

I was told the 520m was no where near powerful enough to run the game even on minimum settings, but in the feedback section of it it says this guy could run the game with a mix of all settings.

Need help here and I need to be sure it will work before I can buy it, thanks

Couldn't find any other forum that would be a better choice, sorry!

  3. If you can put together a lego set you can build a PC with the same specs for cheaper.

I'm not current on AMD/ATI cards, but everything else looks outstanding for running the game. Actually, swap the AMD card for an Nvidia gt 430 and you have the machine I play on and I play with high settings. I don't know my exact frame rate but I never stutter or have any issue

After reading this guide it says that the 6670 card could run the game fine, especially on medium settings which I was hoping for.

  4. Alright, my current computer is a pile of poop.

Not a single part of it is close to the minimum requirements.

Looking on newegg for a complete computer that could run the game on medium-ish settings with at least 50 fps. I was thinking about a budget around $700.

One of the first ones I stumbled upon says to run the game on high in the reviews

Wondering about buying this, should I?

If you guys could find any better one around 700 dollars that would be a much better choice please tell.

I have little to no knowledge about computer stuff so I want to avoid buying single parts.

    Thank you for you help

EDIT: Did a bit of research and the power supply seems a bit weak. Would it work?
