  1. I have not done a single RWZ in months. As a pretty much solo player, I don't have time to sit on fleet spamming for people to form a pug only to sit in queue for extended periods of time. I was really disappointed at not having the ability to solo queue.
  2. The missing element in pvp is fun. I've gotten to the point that I don't really have fun anymore. I login to do the pvp daily on a subset of my toons and about 1/2 way through I just don't enjoy it anymore. Sometimes I don't even login. Your suggestion might make it more enjoyable. Personally, I would prefer some alternative battles.

    o 3v3 with no premades

    o 3v3 with premades only

    o 2v2 with companions

I would also add that once you are in the game, you quit and you get some sort of penalty. I have not been keeping records but it seems that every battle I'm in someone quits. Last night 10 seconds before the wz was complete someone quit. I really don't know why someone would do that, then again I don't know what's up with people.

  3. I have two WH tanks and one BM tank. When someone puts guard on me, I jump into the fray and let them get max protection since I will be there longer than they will. Two of my three tanks are max gear, and full on defense trees.
  4. It probably does not matter but I will say it anyway.

I've been playing this game since the beginning. I went through all types of errors and bugs in the beginning. I've seen a lot of error since. I've gotten a new toon to 50 another one post 40 and started a ninth toon. I've been pretty patient, but the other day when my class quest bugged and then after waiting 30+ mins for a fp only to be disconnected I thought to myself. "Is this enjoyable?"

So, I've been asking this a lot lately. To top it off the game is not smooth to me. To many times my controls seem to pause. Its just not fluid. I'll probably quit soon.

  5. theres a big diffrence between a pay for xpac and monthly content relese

lets use good old faithful as an example

    the burning crusade gave you

    2 new races

a whole new planet with 6 zones (dont say makeb is the same its far from it. those 6 zones had the same content as 4-5 planets in the game now if not more)

    10 more levels

    new crafting professions

    new battlegrounds

    flying mounts

    thats a xpac worth £35

now the sunwell platu had a raid a daily hub and a dungeon

thats a content patch worth the subs we have been paying

    see the difference

FWIW, i played wow twice. I quit the first time about a week after BC was released. I then came back after lk was released. I played about 3 or 4 months at lvl 60 without the lk expansion simply because there was so much content in bc. Sadly when cata came out, i quit shortly afterwards.

  6. Agreed!

I just needed a mouse with a few extra buttons but not a cRaZy amount & the G700 fit the bill perfectly. Feels great in my hand too.

I have many logitech products and I use the g700 for gaming in swtor. On my two work laptops and my home entertainment pc I use rx720. The rx720 are the first release wireless. They rock but they don't have the unifying receiver, so you need a usb stick which is a dedicated wireless transmitter/receiver for the mouse. Other than that they work work wonderfully.

The g700 works about a day in wireless mode before it needs to be charged. The rx720 can go months on batteries.

  7. this is dumbest post yet. I pug always and win 75% of my warzones I enter. I don't need to be carried by a guild or a group.

Same here. By chance are you on POT5? Would you like to work with me to form a guild of like minded folks?

  8. Its a game. Its not life. You log in, you play some, you have fun.

If its fun for you to communicate do so.

Sometimes, i am happy to just do my thing and not communicate. I don't get upset if someone does not do my bidding because I don't communicate. And things are imbalanced. Deal with it. If a particular class is hard for you, i'm guessing there is another class which is easy for you.

  9. Its not so much your spec as your opponent and gear. If you are lvl 45 and using some lvl 30-39 gear then you are undergeared. I imagine the lvl 15 has all lvl 15 gear. In 10-49 bracket pvp the well geared players are 14K. If you are 11K-12K hp in this bracket you are undergeared.

Also what was your opponent? Was he a mara? Operative? Jugg? If so, it does not matter. Those classes will own you. Your only hope is to learn to kite them.

Lastly if you are a cloth dps, I suggest you roll cloth healer. I laugh at cloth dps.

  10. I think I can answer this well based on my own experience. No class is op against all other classes.

I have the following toons in full war hero:

    o concealment operative

    o immortal jugg

    o survivor sin

    o bodyguard mercenary

    I have a full bm/partial war hero

    o sage

I have 49 shield tech powertech

My tanks have tank gear, my healers have heal gear, my dps have dps gear. My concealment operative has nearly full war hero medic gear on Dr. Lokin. You can see him take on multiple opponents at my video link below. You can see examples of all my toons playing there in fact.

I give a tip of the hat to the developer for making a game where A>B>C but C!>A situation exists. For this reason, I consider this game to nearly perfect balanced in terms of pvp. I do not like all the operative nerfs, but lets be honest it was a three button toon for the longest time.

The one thing I wish this game had which WoW did was the ability to look up toons via an armory web site. I have come across some toons which were orders of magnitude better than others of the same type and I would like to see what gear/augments and skill trees they were using.

  11. I'm not so certain it is a fair rule to say targeting a healer is the best thing to do at all times.

If you have a team with three healers, chances are you will not kill one even if you focus fire. He can heal himself and his pals can heal him as well.

In contrast, some dps are really squishy and they hurt you.

Also for me the priority of targets vary by match.

huttball its the ball carrier or whomever is in scoring position on our ramps.

All other matches, whomever is the weakest opponent.

  12. I see suspicious things when I pvp at 50 against some troopers. I'm not certain if they are being force pulled or what but sometimes they simply disappear and I am still in combat. I wonder if this is what they are doing.
  13. I play on the fatman on both sides and in both brackets. ie 10-49 and 10-50.

From my experience I would say its a time of day issue. At certain times in 50 bracket, the repub faction dominates. At others its the imperial faction. Overall, I would say the pub side is sage top heavy and the imperial side lacking healers in general. Consquently in huttball, pub faction tends to position a sage for force pull at opening. Imps don't seem to have picked up on that yet.

Imps also tend to try for the long shot caps in NC and CW. Repubs tend to be more conservative with middle node and side node fights. Lastly, if I play a healer on pub side, I often get a tank guard without asking. On imp side, I frequently do not get one. And even then, there are few tanks on imp side.

  14. Your server must have very bad players. I use it all the time, I also see ppl use it all the time.

In fact I bound it on my mouse scroll down button along with another attack macroed following. This is a VIP button for my enemy healers and Sage/Mercenary in WZ -- every 6sec interrupt. Both Sentinel & Vanguard are the King of Interrupt if talented.

PvE...... I don't care much, do you really need skill/interrupt to own the NPCs? I just watch TV & chop chop chop w/ my lightswords, it's boring & they die anyway.

Just one thing, why in the hell Sniper/Gunslinger can't be interrupted on some of their casting abilities??

And this is why macro's need to allowed in game. You are using hardware macros which are not available to all players. I honestly think everyone who complains about macros do this so they can have an advantage on others.

As for me, I have all mine hotkeyed despite i have a programmable mouse as do you. I don't use the macros though because to do what you are doing requires delays and my understanding is that against the terms of service. And I have spent way to much time playing to get banned for something such as this. On the other hand if in game macros were available I would use them in heartbeat.
